Nate and Rosey (maybe a few others)

"really?" she asked "yea umm friends would be cool, you can pretty much come over any time and if im not here ill be in the gym" she said and quietly thinking to herself Maybe we can become something more than just friends and smiled.

Nate looked down and smiled, "That'd be great." He said and looked back up at her, "I'll know better from now on, but then - there's what you want to hear..." He had almost no trouble figuring it out, his gift picking up on her fluttering hopefulness and such. He felt unsure of himself as he said the words, but it didn't show. "You're a pretty cool girl, smart and talented. I really wish we could spend more time together. I'd love it."
Seeing as close as the already were, he felt it no harm to close his eyes and lean forward, bringing his face closer to hers. Nathan put his hand gently under her chin to hold her still as he brushed his lips against her own; he paused, though, not wanting to move any further himself.

roses heart started pounding and uncertainty flashed in her head but she slowly moved her face closer and put her lips to his.

Nate smiled softly and ran his fingers through her hair, keeping her close and near kissing her back in a way the french would be proud, but suddenly a drop in his heart, like it were made of stone. He tried to push the feeling away, it wouldn't budge though. Nathan pulled himself away from Rose and looked at her with soft, golden eyes. He had to remind himself, it wasn't exactly what he wanted, but what she did.
"I'll see you later, alright?" He said gently and headed for the door, wanting to get back to his own dorm before Desken had a heart-attack.

rose opened her eyes shock and hurt hitting her full on "umm, ok then" she said she would sit like this for the next few hours until someone bothered her or she was to tired.

Felix knocked on Roses door

she shook her head the fog slowly coming out as she got up and opened the door "hi" was all she said as she went back to her bed.

"Mind if I sit down?" asked Felix motioning toward a chair

"no" she said "thats fine" she added

Felix sat down "What did Nate want?" he asked

"just wanted to see if we were friends or just acquaintances " she said not wanting to mention that they almost kissed.

"You seemed a little flushed, are you okay?" he asked

"umm yea fine" she said "so whats up with you, any girlfriend yet" she joked her smile coming back, but more forced than natural.

"No...I'm still waiting for that someone" he sighed

"Good luck finding her" she said noticing that he didn't exactly take it as a joke "so how much have you been bored around here?" she asked.

"Not that much I have some friends here, I even have started on my archery" he stated proudly

"you will have to show me sometime" rose said surprised she hadn't known that felix was an archer.

"I'm not that good...I decided I could try it cause you seemed to like it" he said shyly

"yea, I have been practicing with my dad for years its just something we have learned to do" She said shrugging.

"more years of practice" she said and then thought of her arrows "want to see some of my arrows from home?" she asked.

"Sure" he said and walked over and sat beside her

"my dad helped me make my first batch but these are just from sticks from the trees in the court yard" she said taking one out of the small holder.

Felix looked at the arrow "Wow that's awesome, is it hard to make these?"

"not really as long as you know what your doing" she said "just make sure its a strait branch or twig" she said.
