you're such a bookworm, violet

Violet closed the book she was reading and stretched her arms with a content sigh. She loved reading and the library seemed like the perfect escape from all of the stress of arriving at the academy. She had been reading for the past two hours non-stop and had read the whole book from start to finish. She stood up and walked over to a book shelf with the book in her hands so she could put it back.

Maleia walked into the library to look for a book she was sure wasn't in the library.After minutes she noticed Violet, but didn't say a thing.

Violet put the book back in the fiction shelf, oblivious to Maleia's presence. She stood for a few moments staring at the book shelf, wondering if she should start a new book.

To Maleia's surprise she found the book she was looking for. She sat down at a table, and started to read it.

Jacob walked in being sexy and walked over to Violet"Hi Violet"

Violet turned around startled. "Oh, um..." she looked down at the ground and folded her arms. "H-Hi," she muttered quietly.

"Oh sorry I startled you" he said

Violet looked down at her feet, her face turning red out of embarrassment. "Y-you're fine," she muttered, barely audible.

"Hey at least you didn't shrink" he laughed

"Y-yeah," Violet said quietly, not knowing what else to do.

"What were you reading?" asked Jacob

Violet looked down, her palms getting a little sweaty. "Um,... It was," Violet glanced back at the bookshelf where she out the book as if she had forgotten it's name. "Fahrenheit 451," she said quietly.

"Oh I read that it's really cool" he said

"Oh," Violet muttered shyly, not knowing what else to say. She wasn't very good at keeping a conversation going.

"So...uh...what do you want to do?" he asked

Violet was silent for a few moments. She honestly didn't want to do anything except go back to the dorm. She really didn't want to be social but she didn't want to seem rude. "Um, I-I don't know."

"I'll probably read while I'm here.." he sighed

"Oh, d-do you like to read?"

"Yeah, do you?" he asked

Violet thought for a few moments as if she didn't know the answer herself. "I-I suppose I do," she finally said.

"What type of books do you read?" he asked "I like history and wolves"

"Mostly fiction," Violet replied.

"Fiction is cool too" he said
