Subject: When the halls attack! Sat May 19, 2012 12:16 am

Maleia felt boxed in, but didn't want to go to the courtyard.All she could think of was Why did I come here?! The shelter was better!. She couldn't help but bang her head on her dorm.

Happy trudged through the hallways (AGAIN D:<) for some random apparent reason. He dragged his feet with him as he walked, hands shoved in pockets. As he was walking, he heard a sudden noise, the noise of something or someone hitting something. He glanced around quickly. The sound was pretty nearby, too. "Wh- who's there?" he asked softly. He could barely even hear himself whisper that short question. He saw some girl frustratedly bang her head on a door, and he watched oddly, many feet behind her. He wasn't sure if he should confront her and ask what her problem was, or if he should just keep walking. Plus, Happy wasn't one to start a conversation. "Um... hello?" he mumbled.

Maleia didn't hear the new kid over her head banging. After a minute or so she saw his shadow, she looked at him in confusion" When did you get here?" she asked in a hushed voice.

Happy shook his head. He didn't want to seem like an eavesdropper. "Uhh...! Just now, I promise! I- I... was just... um... wondering what you were.... doing..." he asked shyly.

Maleia closed her eyes" No need to be that way. We are all friends her, right." she asked going to her normal, sweet voice.

"Sorry," he apologized. "But why w- were you... um... doing that?" he asked, motioning with a hand to the door. "Is... is something wrong?" He didn't think there was; her voice seemed honey-sweet without any hint of anger at all. But seriously, who bangs their head against a door for entertainment?

"Just boxed in this prison." she sighed, she was about ready to start banging her head again. She didn't,but wished dhe did.

Happy gave a small nod. "I hear ya," he murmured. "I um... don't like it here any more than you do..." he stated. "But we gotta pull through... I guess..."

Maleia couldn't stand, she was to weak to stand for two thing. I wonder why he acts like this? "Oh, i'm Maleia." she said reaching her hand out to shake his.

Happy watched her reach out to him, and he stared at her palm. He brought his hand up cautiously; carefully. Setting his fingertips on to top of her hand lightly, he mumbled, "oh, I'm... my name is Happy."

Happy gave a short, small shake of his head. "I... um... people make me nervous..." he said shyly. "E- Especially girls. I don't know why..." he admitted. He hoped that he didn't offend her at that statement.

Maleia laughed a little" Well, you can't live in the shadows. Just get out there! What are you afraid of?" she asked.

Happy shrugged. "I- I dunno. I kinda like the shadows..." he said sheepishly. "I'm afraid of everything a- and everyone," he explained. "I don't like them, and they don't like me..."

Happy stopped himself from wincing, but he held a believable small smile. "Oh, thanks... um... Maleia..." he said back. "A- And... you don't? But why not?"

"I know, but..." His voice trailed off. "I just... um..." He gave a shrug. It was hard to explain. She didn't know him at all!

"But wh..." she trailed off as she fell to the floor asleep. She didn't open her eyes for a long time.Maleia just lay on the floor breathing in her sleep.

Happy gave a sudden gasp, and he stared at the girl who had just collapsed on the floor. "D- uhh!! What!?" He hesitated for a moment before falling to his knees and staring at her. "A- Are-!?" She was breathing, thank god. But... was she...? "Asleep?" he asked himself. He nudged her with his hands, pushing her side. "U- Um! Wake up!!"

Maleia slowly opened her eyes. all she saw was a strange person,she didn't know where she was.Maleia looked at the place around her. Then it came to her, wait, that's.... Happy. i'm in the halls? How did I get here? her mind was racing with questions. She slowly got to her feet.

"Oh!" Happy was glad she had awoken. "Are you okay??" he asked, shocked by what just happened.
