| Emil's breathing grew heavy as his feet slapped the ground. He made it. Just barely. He arrived in the crowd of students, pulling his collar nervously. He loitered in the back, breathing deeply. |

| A fellow tardy-student appeared behind Emil, wiping his forehead. He looked around, making sure no one saw him arrive late. Winking at Emil, he tried his best to act nonchalant, sticking his hands in the pockets of his uniform and smiling calmly.

| Eric was following the rest of them. His leg had begun to heal, but he still had trouble with it. He could at least walk at normal speed (their normal speed) with the crutches. | |

| Emil blinked at the boy, returning the wink with an awkward nod. He closed his eyes, sighing. What would be ahead for them? |

| May appeared behind Eric, cursing the fact she was late for her first day. She pushed her way to the back, wanting to meet people but waiting until things started flowing better. She leaned against the wall, wishing it was a bit warmer in the room. | |

| And then Carter, Melody and Desken magically jumped into the topic. *shot*
Carter had never been late for any class. Ever. And this was not one that he wanted to miss, either. Not being one of the first, say, five, was considered late to him. And so he trudged into class, his hair still a mess, his shirt wrinkled, and bits of a Poptart that he had hastily ate and quickly rubbed off.
Melody followed a little farther along. It wasn't unusual for her to be late, contrary to her zealous classmate. No, Mel was often on of the last to arrive. She wouldn't dare admit it, but she secretly enjoyed people having to wait for her. Truthfully, she overslept, which was often a side effect of her power. She was mostly immune, but if she sang to much for to long, it tired even her out to the point of breaking down. And yet she still sang nearly 24/7. She was fairly excited for this class, only because she had heard that there would be weapons, and a chance for her to be on offense for once- even if she sucked at it.
Desken sat in the grass by the portal as usual, and he looked up without interest or expression at the students gathering around.

| Out of fear of being late, both Sarah and Sean were running side-by-side as fast as they could to reach the class before it started. Neither one of them wanted to know what would happen if they were to miss these important events and they surely weren't going to find out soon. Upon reaching the large group of students, Sarah stayed at the back to keep out of everyone's way while Sean made some kind of attempt to try to find Lynn mainly for the purpose of just trying to find some kind of friend in this ancient-looking place, and she was the only one who actually seemed to talk to him... even if it might have been only once... for only five minutes. | |

| Emil looked at all the unfamiliar faces, and smiled. He wondered if he'd befriend any. Brushing some hair from his forehead, he groaned with a sudden overwhelming fatigue. How long would they stand here? |

| Reed watched as her brother ducked behind her, and began to cry. Gosh. She loved her brother, but he was so...sensitive. It got annoying sometimes. Girls were people too. There wasn't much a difference except certain body parts you couldn't even see that well. What was the big deal? He was alright with her, because they'd lived together all there lives, but why couldn't he deal with other girls?
Alexi still stood with his head down, not wanting to see anyone. He'd met a few of the people, but he hated people. It bugged him to be around so many people.
Louis stood alone. It didn't bother her. People sometimes missed talking to her. But for the moment, she was kinda angry that people were ignoring her. No one normally ignored her. So, with a big grin, she walked up to the first person she saw. A tall boy standing in the back. His white hair almost appeared to be glowing (Emil). "Hey! I haven't seen you around. I'm Louis. What's your name?" She asked.

| OOC:He isn't really tall. cx
Emil looked up at the girl. She had blonde hair, and had asked him his name. "Emil. Whaht ez yours?" he asked. He had a Polish accent, for he was born and raised in Poland. |

| "Alright, that's enough, all of you! Focus now." Irene's voice suddenly rose above the rest, silencing the crowd. She pointed at the portal. "All of you are to head through the gate and go unto the island. Those of you that have gone there before will be familiar with the path that leads up the hill. Follow it. Do not stop at the clearing where the dragon's corpses remain. You are to head up the path adjacent to that. There, a building will stand. Go in there and wait for instructions." She finished, but had said it all so fast that a good amount might be lost. "To go through, you only need to touch the portal. It will then transport you." Her green eyes flickered to the strange ball of light on the floor in front of them all. "If anything tries to kill you, either scream or kill it first. Now go."She crossed her arms. Some of them were going to do something stupid and loose their way, she just knew it. "Desken, Maggie. Make sure they all find their way up to the building, please?"Long story short, head through the portal one by one and get to the big building on the island. There class will begin.
Oh, and don't die. cx - for anyone abesnt from the last class, here are some good descriptions on the island from which the portal shall take you. cx notlazy.:
The ground below their feet was damp and the sky above them had no sun, but an everlasting white light that seemed to be coming from nowhere. The sound of the ocean could faintly be heard, and almost nothing could be seen through the vast surrounding rainforest, fill with plants that had never before been seen on earth. If one looks closely enough, a few meters away was a path seemingly lead up hill. At the top of the path would be their destination, the ancient buildings where the usual classes took place.
The leaves themselves were a dark green, far darker than any other plant in the world, had existed, exists or would exist. All of the plants were like that, that same shade of dark green that seemed if you got too close to it, it would just absorb your soul and leave an empty shell behind, that same dark green that seemed to give off that foreboding feeling. It was... monstrous, abominable. Then, the trees themselves. Their bark seemed to shimmer in different lightings. As the light filtered through those evil leaves, it touched on the bark and made it swim from brown to black and back. Whispers passed through as this happened, a single whisper passing through the leaves. Inaudible, Eric paid it no heed, at first. Then it collected in strength, echoing off the trees and getting louder, turning to a ear-splitting screech. But then it found no more trees, and like that, it vanished. More whispers came, but none are tortuous as the first. They traveled through the leaves, making them shimmer as well and turning the same way the bark did, darker and darker. But as the light went through them, they lightened, only to darken again from the whispers. Then the light itself. Where did it come from? Did this foreign place have it's own lighting, or did it share our own sun? Eric looked to the sky to find it darkened with clouds. And in darkened, he meant almost black. But from a single circle of white light, shimmering in the dark, he found it shining down on this dark place. Eric yearned to find the water, splashing against the shores in the distance... but in that same second he quelled it by again looking at his surroundings. The hill seemed normal, apart from the wretched grass that covered it. At the top, the ground fell away, so it was the only hill in near flatland, from what he could see. At the top it was utterly flat, making it ideal for keeping classes at, so Eric could see why they would pick there. The strange ball of light, even, seemed dark. But lighter than anything else around them. He wanted to touch it. He could feel pure power coming from it, unlike anything other he had seen before. But he knew he would be killed or removed from the academy before he could reach it.
This place was an array of colors, mystery, and other things he couldn't even name right now. It was basically an artist's paradise . . some dark trick of the Fates kept him from bringing his canvas and paint here, but how he longed to . . .

| Happy shyly walked over to the portal, staring into it blankly. He decided he would be the last to go, but the crowd of people behind him made him end up tumbling into the portal, staggering around for balance. Before he knew it, his back crashed onto grass, and he blinked in a lush rainforest looking place. Sitting up, he stared, agape. Getting up quickly, Happy looked around. I'm going to get lost for sure! he thought sadly, frowning. He managed to scoot away to allow the other students past him as he situated himself. He began to follow the crowd to the side, away from the loud bustling.
Pine went through the portal next, eagerly hopping in. Going around Happy so she wouldn't step on him, she began walking towards their destination.
And then Kody went. (Gee, aren't I creative? xD)

| William, not pleased with the fact that he was beat to the portal, went next. He leaped in dramatically, as if he was going to enter a land full of walking skeletons with bows, zombies, and kamikaze shrub monsters.
Instead of getting a face full of monster he got a beautiful but alien looking world.
Alex began to grow impatient. "Hurry up, it's not like anything will go wrong. Most likely." he ordered the students

| Eric limped into the portal and followed behind. He was halfway up the hill, lungs heaving with exertion from his broken leg, when his dagger slipped from his pocket and fell down a different side. With a sigh he went after it. | |

| Katrina gave Alex a severe look, placing clenched fists on her hips. She furrowed her brow, narrowed her eyes, and said, "Don't rush us, Mr. Impatient. Who do you think you are?" She glared at him, stopping in her tracks. "Really, show some courtesy. We'll be through the portal in no time," She frowned at him, as she herself disappeared into it, following the others.
Greg followed soon after, yawning as he did so. He wasn't enthused thus far.

| Violet tentatively walked over to the portal. She stared at it for a moment, gathering up her courage before cautiously stepping through. When she was on the other side, she followed the crowd so she wouldn't get lost.
Payton walked though the portal casually, but when she was on the island, she couldn't help herself from looking at her surroundings in amazement. She followed the crowd, still looking around, taking in all there was to see with wide eyes.

| Alexi decided to head through next. Like the last class, he managed through, but this time, he wasn't surrounded by a bunch of people. He sighed happily as he made it through the portal and headed toward where he thought the lesson building is.
Reed looked back at her brother. "Come on." She said. She walked towards the portal. Touching it gently, she was instantly transported to this beautiful paradise of a place. She decided she should move forward, and forgot her brother on the other side.
Louis smiled. "Louis. Call me Lou." She said with a grin. She gestured for him to follow her, though she didn't know why she did it. She came towards the portal, and headed through. It was the beautiful place from the last lesson. Why did it have to be very dangerous as well as beautiful?
