Maleia walked out into the halls. She didn't want to do a thing, but she was bored!

Kody was walking the hallways because every time he wants to join a topic, the only open ones are in the hallway forum. D:< Well, anyways, he was walking, and, as always, he had his face glued to his notebook. Not literally, but... you know what I mean. Kody continued walking until, whoopty-doo, he stumbled upon some random stranger. He said nothing when he bumped into her. He was just writing in his journal, hurriedly trying to finish something up.

Sean was out in the hallway sitting against the wall next to his dorm room door, drawing away on a large sketch pad that sat in his crisscrossed lap. Next to him was several different kinds of pencils, a rubbing stick, and a large eraser that was nearly worn down from use. But, as soon as Maleia walked into the hall, he stopped suddenly. "Oh, hello there," He called to her and the boy that had suddenly bumped into her the moment Sean decided to look up.

As Maleia was pushed back by this new kid, she heard a voice. When she looked down the halls she saw a new, new kid" Oh, hey."

Kody began leaning further towards his notebook, squinting his eyes. He was aaaalllmoooosstt fiiiniiiisshhheedd.... there! He gave a giant sigh of relief, pulling away from the journal, smiling. Finally looking up, he saw the unfamiliar face. And that's when everything (well, some stuff) about this girl came rushing into his mind like a raging fire. "Maleia Zelak, age 15. My name is Kody Rider, age 15, and it is a pleasure to make your acquaintance," he said monotonously, holding out his hand, staring at her blankly. He didn't turn to Sean juuusttt yet.

Maleia flinched at what he said. What?! How does he? Is he a? Does he? her mind was racing. How did he know this. She had just now seen him!

Kody gave a small nod, pulling back his hand, and turned swiftly on a heel, facing Sean. "And hello to you, too, Sean Howell, age 15. As you have witnessed a moment ago, my name is Kody Rider, and I am also age 15. It is a pleasure to meet you as well." He held out his hand again bluntly.

Sean stood up and reluctantly grabbed Kody's hand to shake it. Upon contact, Sean's dark gray eyes suddenly clouded over to where they seemed to be a shiny steel color. It was only for a slight moment that he was caught in this daze though and soon snapped out of it. "Pleasure to meet you," He said with a grin. "It's nice to know that someone else likes to keep notes and stay organized." He then turned to Maleia. "It's very nice to meet you too."

Maleia stood there in a paralisis. She didn't know how they did this.

Kody watched, impressed by his reaction. Taking his hand back, he continued to stare intently. "I am very grateful you appreciate my note-taking. Speaking of which, I shall take a doable note of that," he said, looking down and writing very quickly on his papers.

Sean only laughed. "Whatever floats your boat, dude!" He exclaimed as he turned his attention back to Maleia. "Sorry about that, I'm Sean. You're Maleia, right? Cool name!"

Maleia was still a little shocked" Uh ya...thanks. If I'm not mistake you're...Sean?" she asked still a little confused.

The boy nodded with a reassuring smile. "Yeah. It's nice to meet you!" It was only after a few seconds of looking at her did he suddenly realized how terribly confused she looked. "Oh, did we lose you?" He asked, a little concerned.

Maleia was confused up to now" What? Oh, no. just didn't know how he knew." she said thinking of ways that he could know who she was.
