"you know your always crabby or somethign" he said

"I can say why, but why spoil the ending?" she said laying back down.

"I dont know" he said shrugging "you just seem like you need someone or somthing to cheer you up" he said finishing his cereal.

Maleia wanted to change the toopic, so she asked" Hey, is there any fruit in the dorm?"

"I think so, you will have to check the cabinets" he said

Maleia got up, and looked. She sighed when she found no fruit. She sat back down.

"maybe theres fruit in the courtyard" he said hopefully.

"Nah, I feel lazy today," she said.

"ehh, thats natural" he said thinking of the guys in the dorm.

"Well, not much to do here." she replied.

"Must agree unless your drawing" he said suddenly thinking of the drawing he had done recently most of them Maliea

"I can't draw. I can't do anything you or the others can do." she said. She thought back to the time when she was four. Why was it so?

"you probably have some talents" he said his cheesy smile coming through

"Nope, you name it. I don't have it." She picked up her finger, and acid started to form around it.

"thats still cool" he said mentioning her finger.

"Huh, sure but, powers don't count." she said. Is he....no? she thought.

"yes they do" he said "you will come up with many things that are pretty cool about you" he said

Maleia laughed out of sarcasm" Ya sure I will."

"dont be so hard on yourself" he said getting up and putting his hand on her shoulder.

"Why do you care? I have a lot of thing to blame myself for." she replied losing feeling. Her acid came with a deadly price.

"because your my friend" he said " and why blame yourself for something that has happend it just brings you down you can't have fun later" he said

"I won't know what happened ok? I could torch this place if I wasn't holding it back. I can't handle it well. That's why I came. To make the ones around me safe." she said thinking back at to when her house was on fire.

"well having someone there to help, will help" he said

"No. i'll face this alone. If i'm doing this to protect the ones I love, I must take this path alone."she said with a little smile.

"I would love to help yiou" he said "just ask and im there"
