The training she never had!

Aravis stopped running when she hit a small patch of grass. She had her scythe with her, so she kept launching the scythe across the tree. All she could think was I hate him, but I love him. She needed to choose one, but which? She could't figure out what to do!

Violet was walking through the forest when she came across Aravis. "Oh, hi Aravis," she greeted with a smile.

Aravis didn't hear what Violet said, due too the scythe.

"Um, a-are you okay?" Violet asked meekly, when she saw Aravis chopping up a tree.

"Hu, oh hey." she said in a sad voice.

"Is something wrong?" Violet asked shyly, looking at Aravis with concern in her eyes.

"No," she said. After a minute, she started to get at the tree again.

"Oh," Violet murmured shyly, hiding slightly behind a tree. It was pretty obvious Aravis was in a bad mood.

After a minute, she fell to the ground. She was so tired, but she hadn't made a dent in the tree.

"A-are you okay?" Violet rushed over to Aravis's side.

"Y-" she gasped for breath" Ya." she replied.

"Um, a-are you h-hurt or..?" Violet asked nervously. She really had no idea what to do during situations like this.

"No," she replied catching her breath.

"Oh, m-maybe you shouldn't work yourself so hard," Violet said quietly.

all Aravis could think of was Gabe. The thoughts almost made her not hear a word Violet had said.

"A-are you sure you're okay?" Violet asked timidly when Aravis remained silent.

"Yes," she replied.

"...Something is bothering you," Violet said after observing Aravis for a few moments.

Aravis flinched at these words," What?! No."

"You can always tell me if something's wrong," Violet offered. "I-if you want that is," she quickly added.

"Look nothing's wrong," she said quicker than Violet.

"O-okay," Violet murmured quietly so that it was barely audible. She shrunk about an inch.

"Okay, i'm sorry. Just been so much goin on here in Beata." she said. It was true.

"Like what?" Violet asked. "But you don't have to tell me if you don't want to," she quickly added.

"Just alot of things." she said rubbing the back of her neck.
