Where Am I?

It was about 12 o' clock in the afternoon, and the hallways were a bit crowded. Students walked to and fro, looking for friends, chatting, munching on delicious looking sandwiches. But then again, anything would look good to Aislinn. She looked down around at the floor, her yellowish golden eyes swimming in tears. It was her first day and she was completely lost. She shrugged her minty green backpack higher up on her shoulders, then seemed to stand up way above her head, that seemed to sink to the floor. Her long red hair billowed around her as she shuffled further and further down the hall, begging to find her dorm before she broke down in tears.

maleia walked into this girl falling down. She quickly got up and said" Sorry."

Aislinn let out an ooph and fell down too, a folder with papers falling out of her hands and scattering on the floor. She pouted. "Goddess, I'm so sorry!" The red-head explained, rubbing her temples.

Maleia picked up the folder, and handed it to her."No I wasn't watching, by the way i'm Maleia." she said sticking out her hand.

"Hey," Nathaniel walked over to the two girls, frowning. "Do you girls need some help?" He had actually been drawn over by Aislinn's sharp feelings of distress. He glanced at Desken aside him, for whatever reason Nate had been hanging out a lot with lately, and already started to bend down, picking up a few things for them and handing them to Maleia, since they seemed to be hers.

He glanced up at the wind guardian with a smirk on his face, "Aren't you supposed to be helping the new kids?" He remarked cheekily, only guessing because he hadn't seen Aislinn's face before in the crowd.

"Oh, hey Nate," she said. "Ya, ya think you can show her around?" she asked. She knew his answer, he wouldn't be that mean, would he?

"Shut it Nathaniel, I was going to help." The Guardian replied grumbily, but in a joking manner, bending over as well to grab a couple of scattered papers. "What happened- did you just collide?" He asked casually, before realizing that he was being rude. "I'm Desken Moore. You'll probably be seeing my around here a lot." He told Aislinn with a genuine smile, assuming Maleia already knew him.
He listened to Maleia's question Nathan, and joined in. "We would love to show you around- it is my job, after all." He joked, but it was true, wasn't it?

Aislinn starred at the ground, collecting her papers. She knew once of them was reading her, and she felt uncomfortable.] "I uh, I-" She briefly stopped to rub her temples and grimace at the cold stone floor. "I guess that would be okay, if it's your job." She said, collecting her papers graciously, and stuffing them into her folder, then into her back pack. The red-head stood and straightend her plain navy blue t-shirt, and flattened her gray cardigan. Aislinn rubbed her temples briefly again, closing her golden eyes and grimacing.

"Yeah, yeah..." Nathan shrugged Desken's sharp remark off and laughed lightly, getting the last things off the floor and handing them to the girls. "Yes, oh great guardian, where do we start?" He was partially blaming the wind master for the whole incident with Kali. Never again would he do a tour on his own.

"Mind if i follow?" she asked the two.

Aislinn shrugged again, her eyes flicking quickly up to Nathaniel. She could feel the power was coming from him, and it made her uneasy. She tried deperately to push the power out of her mind, and throw up a wall of defenses. Her mind wandered, and she begin thinking about the situatuion. She assessed Maleia quickly, and saw she was friendly. She looked briefly at Desken, her golden eyes flashing. He must of been important if they kept calling him Guardian. The girl putting a hand on the back of her neck and smiled shyly. "Im, um, Aislinn. Aislinn Tucker."

Tala sauntered by, barely glancing at the others, even though she had no idea where to go. She hesitated, seeing that one or two of the group huddled around twi girls who knocked into each other were Head Students. She sighed, giving and walked over. "Hey... Um, where are the dorms?" Tala asked, obviously just wanting an answer so she could stop talking to people.

Maleia turned to the girl."Just come with us. We are going for a tour." she said. She didn't know where these people wer coming from.

Desken stood and handed Aislinn her papers, before smiling welcomely. "A pleasure to meet you, Aislinn." He said, before redirecting his attention towards Maleia. "You can come along, I don't have a problem with that- as can you, if you want to." He called to Tala, until he noticed her somewhat standoffish attitude. "You don't have to, of course. But it would be an easy way to familiarize yourself with the school." He explained with a nonchalant shrug of his shoulders.

Tala looked at the others. Ugh... So many people... She sighed again, deciding to go on this 'tour' with the others. Just so she could get the layout of the school, mind you. :P
