A hide away from the world

Danielle sat cross legged in between the book cases. she had a book in her hand, Heart of Darkness and was trying to understand the main idea of the book. The girl was oblivious to her surroundings .

Stephen walked into the isle, stepping past Danielle and setting the book in the shelf. He was unable to help his curiosity and glance down at the young lady before him; or, more accurately, at the book she was reading. "A good read," he commented, "It has several dark themes, but entertaining none-the-less."

"I guess it would, but I just can't seem to get myself involved enough with the plot to actually enjoy it." Danielle commented, marking her page and setting the book down beside her. "My name is Danielle. Who are you?"

"It builds up slowly to the climax," he explained, peering down at her with ice, blue eyes. "Stephen." The young man seemed to be studying her. He made frequent trips to the library and couldn't seem to remember ever seeing her face.

Danielle raised an eyebrow. "Do you see something that interests you?" she questioned, looking at his eyes. Blue... that's a new color. she thought quietly.

Emil had found himself in a fairly good book, and started reading it. About half way through, his head was in an uncomfortable position, and therefore, he moved so they he was lying sidways in a chair. Before he knew it, he felt fatigue, and without noticing, fell asleep.

Stephen said nothing for a few moments, "A few things. That book is missing a few pages." His gaze flickered irritably to the one that he had placed on the shelf not a few moments ago, "There's a pretty miss sitting on the floor reading quite the depressing novel. It's going to rain later. And that young man over there just passed out in his seat." He glanced over at Emil.

Danielle smiled slightly, then stood to walk over to Emil. "Not for long he isn't. "she told him, then pushed Emil to the ground.

A short shriek escaped Emil's lips as he fell face-first onto the ground.
After a moment, his muffled voice stated: "My face hurts..."

Stephen followed her over quietly, lightly kicking Emil in the side with the front of his shoe. "You deserved that."

Danielle bit back a giggle. "I'm sorry, Emil, but it was too tempting to pass up."

"Huw come? Who er you? Why um I en the lubrary?" asked Emil with a confused expression. He got to his feet, stretching wearily.

He ignored Emil's questions, simply looking at the younger white-haired boy with curiosity. "You're from Poland?" He tucked a fist under his chin, as if in thought. "Interesting." Mr. Quiet didn't think it was worth pointing out that he had only fallen asleep moments ago and that there were beds for sleeping innn. D8 they'realsogoodforotherthings,butwewon'tgetintothat./shot.

Danielle rolled her eyes. "We've already gone through introductions, light boy." Danielle said. "I'm Danielle, remember?"

Emil frowned. "Yeah. Und you ah frum Ahmerica." he stated. "Whut ez your point?"
He nodde to Danielle, remembering the time in the Forest.

Nu. It's Stephen. This is horny stuff with Feather. /shot. "Simple curiosity in how a foreigner ended up in such a remote place." Stephen's gaze shot back and forth between the two of them, they had met before? "Shouldn't you be in your dorm, kid?"

"I wus reading ahnd drifted uf. Why?" Emil asked. Was this kid some sort of rule enforcer? He wondered if he was some sort of new guardian.

Danielle took this as her cue to stay quiet. she silently watched the two boys talk.

"Because people like your girlfriend here could tip you on the floor if you're not in your bed?" Stephen suggested sarcastically.

Emil blinked. "Urm...surry. She isn't mah girlfrund." he corrected, trying his best to be polite. What exactly was going on?

Danielle glared at stephen. "Girlfriend. Really?" she questioned him.

"Oh, pardon me." Stephen said, "My mistake." He was untouched by Danielle's glare, a look of indifference on his face. "Good day, then." He began to walk away, to look for a new book.
