Anderson was a light sleeper. He could hear a mouse, and he might wake. But slow soothing noises didn't affect him. The sound of talking could be short and abrupt, especially the conversation being had in the dorm. He woke, not with a start, but gradually, slowly noticing the noise. If you watched him sleep, his eyes were closed, even though it made no difference to his sight. Slowly opening his eyes, he felt around the room. His stuff was all there. The sounds were of people talking. He got up, put a shirt on, already wearing a pair of sweats, and went to see what was going on.
"Vat eez vith all thee noiz?" He asked, rubbing his eyes. It was a strange habit he had. Naturally, you rub your eyes to get rid of any blurry sight you have. But Andy can't see, so he had no clue why he did it.
