Party in dorm 2

Rose grabbed the popcorn out of the microwave and poured some chips and salsa in a bowl she had tryed to tell a few people about a party she had planed in dorm 2.

Nate just didn't even bother knocking, trusting Rose enough that he didn't have too, and walked in. "Hey." He smiled at her. Was he the first one?

"hey Nate" she said "watch a chip?" she asked grabbing the bowl off the counter and settin it on the table

Nyla stood in the doorway looking in. She was unsure if she should come in or not. She wasn't a people person. She sat there and pondered.

"hey" she waved "come on in we have chairs and couches" she offered

Teegan get out much, it was true, but she decided to give this party thing a shot. She pulled nervously at the sleave of her blouse, she had never been to a party before so she wasn't exactly sure what to expect. With a nervous gulp the girl knocked awkwardly on the door, squirming on the spot, to late to turn back now.

"Why, thank you." Nate took a handful of chip gratefully and collapsed on the couch, stuffing them in his mouth. He felt like a fatass today. xD

Rose quickly walked over to the door " hey come right on in" she said. Then ran over to the fridge grabed two 16 litter bottles of soda.

Teegan stepped in the dorm room. It was like all the others, only it had food and drinks, so it was a party. Seemed legit. The girl took a look around the room and turned a slight shade of pink when she saw Nathaniel, not wanting him to share her awkward moment.

At this point, for the luls, Nathan was sitting backwards on the couch; His back on the cushion and his legs swinging off the back. He was looking around the room upside down. "Hey, Teegan!" He greeted happily, a little surprised she came. She didn't seem like the party type.

Melody walked through the already open door and looked around. She had her hand rested on her arm in a almost nervous stance- one that she could have picked up from Happy. Gripping her arm, she spotted Nate and relaxed a little. But she didn't make her way over to him first, instead she walked around. Assuming Rose was the hostess, she made her way towards her, a smile on her face. "You don't mind if I join your party, right?" She questioned.

Carter was a lot more nervous than Melody. Parties were less foreign to her than they were to him- he wouldn't admit it, but he was quite the socially awkward person. If it wasn't for Nate forcing him to come, he would be in the safety of his dorm, reading or doing homework. Unfortunately, he didn't even have that excuse because he had finished all his homework yesterday, as well as his library book. So he was here now, walking through the door and trying to go unnoticed, miserable.

Teegan nodded shyly at him and returned his greeting with a wave. But when she went to say hi, her voice got caught in her throat and ended up sounding more like "Hhh--EE," the girl cleared her throat now a crimson red and re-said her "Hi." Taking a chip and placed it in her mouth awkwardly to keep her from doing or saying anything else she would regret.

"oh no" rose laughed "every bodies welcome here" then she looked at her outfit "oh I love your shirt it's so cute!" she stammered over mels type of clothes

She was still this shy? With the boy upside down and chips crumbs on his shirt, no less. "Nice to see you again." Nate told her, pausing when an idea came to mind. What exactly happen when you put awkwardly shy people together? Did the two lefts make a right? He glanced around, seeing Carter walk in.

Melody loosened up even more, and laughed. "Alright, good." At the compliment, she looked down in surprise. It was one of her favorite outfits; a red tank top under a white drape top that fell off one shoulder- on it was a red watercolor rose. Her jeans were dark and tight fitting, and her shoes were simple flats. She smiled and looked back at the girl. "Rose, right? I can see why you like it." She was normally good with names, and laughed at the irony of it. "Thank you." She replied sincerely, a small, genuine smile on her face.

Carter made his way over to the food and tentatively grabbed a chip. He looked over at Teegan and Nate, frowning as his friend peered back. "Hey." He blinked, before shoving the chip into his mouth.

"oh your welcome, you need to tell me some time who you get your clothes from but I need to snatch the chips away from Nate before he eats them all" she said starting to walk away" have anything you want" she said looking back. When she got to Nate and carter she snatched the bowl away "sorry boys but others may want some to" she laughed seeing all the crumbs on nates shirt "go brush off the crumbs in the bathroom"

"Hello, Carter." Nate greeted his roommate rather simply, although he was starting to get a little dizzy from all the blood rushing to the top of his head. "Carter, this is Teegan. Teegan, this is Carter." He introduced the two of them, not expecting it when Rose walked up and swiped the bowl out of his reach. "Nuuuuuuuuu. My chips. ;_;" He looked pitiful for a second and swung around the edge. "Fine, fine... I'll let you two talk then." He jumped up and headed to the bathroom for a minute.

Teegan was rather enjoying her chip, but when she went to take another the bowl was snatched away by the hostess. She made a small "o" shape with her mouth and put her hand back in her lap, blushing slightly. She didn't even notice the presence of another boy until Nathaniel introduced her to him. She looked up to see a boy who looked to be about 11. She looked at him and nodded slightly. No reason to say anything when she had already been introduced!

Felix walked into the dorm from his room and walked over beside Rose and kissed her cheek

"hey honey" she said kissing him on the lips for a moment then ran and put the chip bowl back on the table. Looking around she quickly grabbed some cups out of the cupboard an started filling a few of them with the sodas

Felix smiled and walked over to Carter "Hi I'm Felix"

Carter's eyes widened, and he bit his lip. She didn't say anything, but for some reason he felt compelled to do so. "Hi Teegan." He greeted with a wave of his hand, watching the chips as they flew away by the hand of Rose. Nuuuuh. ;__; He glanced around before finding a recliner and plopping down in it.

Melody nodded, a amused smile on her face. "Yep, will do." Actually, she had borrowed this from her friend- no, not stole, borrowed. She'd give it back... one day. D; As Rose raced off, Melody nodded a little awkwardly. "Alright, thanks." She called after her, before looking around and spotting the kitchen. Taking this Have anything you want. to heart, she opened the fridge and grabbed a soda. Popping off the top, she leaned forward on the counter, quietly looking around at the growing number of students.

Looking up, Carter realized that Felix was talking to him. "Hiya. The name's Carter." He replied calmly, getting comfortable in the chair.

"Cool name, how you liking the party so far?" he asked

Teegan had been told about parties, they were loud and there was dancing and there was music. Now granted she had been told this from her brother who tended to over exaggerate, but she was going to believe him. Now this party was not like that, it was quiet and there wasn't music and there was only awkward conversations. It was something Teegan felt she could relate to, especially as she had her own awkward conversation going on right now. The girl stared at the little boy he was so little squeeee! and replied with a "Hello." She was a little social butterfly wasn't she?
