No offense... right, he thought bitterly. Nothing was wrong with his name! If anyone should be judging names, it should be him! He'd never met anyone named Harmony! Let alone anyone with the last name of Delangelo. Her praise afterwards brightened his mood a bit. But also, she had no clue how annoying this was for him. "Says you!" he snapped. "You're not the one who has to lug around some girl!" Kobe gave a small hop to push her up farther onto his back since she had been slipping down. "Okay, sit still, he said, stopping and facing the hall. "And hang on tight." He tried to support her up, readying himself in a running stance. Kobe was standing for a long moment, staring the hall down. Without warning, he broke into a sprint at full speed, his loud steps booming throughout the hallway. There was a turn ahead. Kobe didn't slow down at all. He turned sideways, skidding across the linoleum flooring, as if skating on ice. He crashed sideways into the wall for a split-second, and then continued running, as if that had never happened. Even though all of this had happened, Kobe was smiling just a bit.

She rolled her eyes, "You talk like I'm nothing but a useless lump of weight." Jeez, he really was a jerk. Really, Kobe. Listen to the tone of your voice! She helped lifted herself up to get higher on his back again. You know, it wasn't just hard work for him. Her arms and legs hurt just trying to defy gravity and stay on... "So, would you be mad if I called you Corn on the Kobe?" Harmony whispered in his ear before he warned her, staring down the hallway. The young woman suddenly started to get nervous. "W- what are you gonna do?" She muttered before gasping, the volume turning way up. She gripped on with her nails as he shot off into a sudden all-out sprint. "Are you crazy!? Slow down or I'm gonna - ahh!!" Harmony wailed as they crashed into the wall, her shoulder slamming into it. Her grip began to loosen, but he still didn't stop. "Stop, Kobe! Please! You're going to fast!" she cried. She dug her face into his back and waited it out. God damnit, how long was this hallway?!

Kobe frowned at that before they had taken off like a rocket. "Corn on the-- no!" he said, narrowing his eyes at her. Wtf kind of nickname was that? It was clever, yes, but, where the hell had that come from? As they were running down the long endless hallway, he didn't stop at her shrill cries. "Ow--! Calm down!" he shouted to her. 9... 10... 11... 12...The walls were a blur, but when the number 13 caught his eye, he sharply stopped, and faced the door. He didn't hesitate for her to dismount. He picked her up and set her down behind him, then turned to look at her. "O-KAY." he breathed, stretching backwards. "That was weird. I hope you enjoyed your ride because it is not happening again," he said. Kobe finally looked at her, his small smile suddenly hidden so that she did not see. "Don't tell anyone about this. I don't want everyone thinking that I'm giving out free rides or something." Leaning against the door, he gave another sigh of relief. Geez, wasn't he making a big deal out of this?

"But- you're- going- too- " Harmony squeaked once more at the sudden stop and felt blown over at the sudden change of momentum. She moaned into his back, suddenly feeling like jell-o and was near about to slip off before he set her down himself. She stumbled back and fell to the floor, feeling dizzy. Okay~ Just give her a moment or two~. This exact reason was why she never liked fast cars or roller-coasters, carnival rides. Harmony was a little light weight. "Well, it was kinda fun before... You get really carried away." She breathed, looking back up at him. "Not anyone? Like at all? Not even my sister?" Oh, wouldn't Melody get jealous when she told her what she did. ;D She stubbornly crossed her arms before glancing up at the room number. Huh... "They put you in Dorm Thirteen?" she questioned Kobe.

Kobe gave a huff. "I know. I was trying to make it here before the "ride" got any less enjoyable for either of us," he informed. He noticed she seemed a little dizzy, and he watched her closely as she stumbled to the floor. "If you think that I'm giving you another ride for that, you've got another thing coming, missy," he chuffed. Sister? She had a sister? Oh, lawd, he could imagine it now. Two girls riding on his back at the same time. The thought made him shake his head quickly. "No one. Like, at all. Not even your sister," Kobe answered a little grumpily, sternly eyeing her. Not a brother, not a mother, not a sister, not a mister. /shot This ride was for Harmony, and Harmony only, and it would never happen, nor be mentioned, EVER again. "Uh, yeah... I suppose so," he said, shrugging, looking up at the numbers unblinking.

Harmony crossed her arms and frowned at him, turning her head away. "Fine." she muttered. He won. She'd just live on with it, never telling a soul, only laughing about it in her free time... Then people will look at her funny for laughing randomly in dead silence... Pfffffft. cx Who was she kidding? The girl was totally going to tell every damn person that she knew. |D Like hell, her sister was going to be the first one~! Harmony's green gaze tilted back up to Kobe, who was looking at the dorm number now. An excited grin suddenly grew on her face. "That's the dorm I'm in!" she exclaimed happily. Well, she had been in dorm fourteen, but that guy Steve freaked her out all night with his tossing and turning. (And she had heard he was a little crazy as well.) The guy with the funny accent didn't seem to like her very much and the only other girl was a bit of a stick in the mud. Harmony had demanded another room! Lucky for Kobe, Thirteen was the new one they picked out for her! :D Isn't that greaaaaaat?

Kobe knew she would probably spill to her sister. And then they'd be coming up to him begging for a ride, and he would rip his hair out. I swear, if she peeps, I'm going to... going to... ASDFAJDLAG;KLKGL He ran his fingers through his brown hair as he thoughtfully gazed at the numbers, not taking his eyes off of them. Well, that is, until Harmony said something worth hearing. He couldn't believe it for one moment. His eyes grew wide as he looked at the numbers, as if something had happened to them. A minute had passed before he replied in a shaky voice, "so, you're in... my dorm? With me?" No, it was just a dream. Just an awkward dream. Yeah, that's it. ;___; He slowly turned to face her, a complete flabberghasted look slapped on his face. "O- oh. That's just... terrific," he murmured weakly. On the inside, he was raging like a wildfire. Kobe seriously felt like ripping his hair out now. Bald would fit him perfectly, no? No. ;_; He backed into the wall, looking up at the ceiling in defeat. Grinding down the wall, he gave out a soft moan of despair.

Harmony nodded happily. Yes. Him. Her. Sharing a dorm together. From this moment on. Every day. All the time. >|D /shot. "Isn't it?" she gasped, clasping two hands together like before. "Now I'll have a friend with to spend all the time with, and you won't be the alone - new guy anymore. You know me!" It was a little funny. Harmony regained her composure and stood back up, and at the exact same time, Kobe seemed to be loosing himself and falling unto the floor. "Well, come on! Don't just sit on the floor! I can show you around inside." she smiled and offered a hand to him, totally not to drag him inside. "And don't worry, I won't make you carry me~." It's better to just go along with her and get it over with, Kobe. xD Don't resist. She will make this happen the easy way or the hard way. ;D

No. Him. Her. Sharing a dorm together? From this moment on? Every day? All the time!? D|< He was ignoring her as he was sitting on the ground, pouting to the ceiling. "Don't you have any other friends to ride?" he questioned a bit angrily. He looked up at her, a hand extended. He was reluctant to take it, just staring at her palm as long as he liked. When she assured that he didn't have to do that again, he still didn't take her hand, crossing his arms over his chest. "I actually like the dorm from, ah, from this view. It's very... nice," he said, giving a nod, and leaning back onto the wall. U cantz maek meh goe een dare, was probably what was going through his mind.

Harmony had kept her hand out until he had drawn back, crossing his arms and leaving her hanging there. "Oh..." was all she could say for the moment. The blonde stood back up straight and folded her hands in front of her. Her emerald eyes started to water a little. She looked completely disappointed. "Okay." And then she paused. Dude, hold the phone. Wait a fucking minute. "Wait, no... Actually, it's not okay." Harmony frowned and put her hands on her hips, that mischievous gleam starting to show in her gaze once again. Getting over it quickly, she opened the door with one hand really quick before grabbing a tight hold of Kobe's arm. "Let's go! Just staring at the doorway won't get you anywhere." she smiled, trying her best to drag him inside with her nimble body.

Kobe gave a nod, glad things were finally going his way. With the unsatisfactory "oh" and "okay, he didn't dote too much on her upset tone until he noticed her watery eyes. Suddenly, he felt a pang of guilt. After making her fall flat on her face, almost giving her a concussion from running into walls, and now denying her suggestion, he FINALLY felt guilty. Then, she had a change of heart. He turned his head to look at her. "Wait-- it's not?" he said, absolutely astounded that she had crossly said that it was not okay. She opened the door open for him, as if she expected him just to get up and agree to waltz inside with her. "Good try, but I'm not going to--! Hey! The hell! Let me g- ow!!" He fell backwards as she jerked him her way, and fell on his back, a bit of in a daze. "Where the hell did you get so... strong?" he asked, more of a question to himself than to Harmony. Kobe felt his body sliding across the carpet, and his nails dug into the ground as if saying, "don't let her take meeee~ ;A;"

Harmony couldn't help but giggle a little as he protested, amused by his surprise. "Years of practice." she told him. Rae was very small bodied, seemingly fragile even, but she had gotten quite used to dragging Melody around left and right... Literally, shifting her weight around and getting her subject to budge. Harmony paused for a moment to catch a quick breath before tugging again, dragging him in further against his will. "Are you gonna get up and come in now, or do I have to keep making you?" she asked stubbornly, looking down at Kobe, her voice laced with teasing.

Kobe just lay there, being dragged across the floor like some helpless child. When she was out of breath, he gave a smirk. Yay for his heavy-ish body~ When she asked him that question, he quickly responded with a, "I'm getting up, I'm getting up!" He was almost certain she wasn't joking around. Kobe yanked his arm back and rolled onto his belly. He then got onto his knees and hopped to his feet, ending it with a huff. He took a gander at the room. It was big enough and looked like what some would call "cute". Giving a nod, he set a finger on his chin thoughtfully. He immediately ran to a bed and bellyflopped onto it. "I call dibs on this one!" he announced, turning over to his back, enjoying the soft texture of the sheets.

The young woman smiled victoriously as he gave up, almost literally jumping unto his feet, she was a little impressed. With agility like that, he'd make for a good dancer~. /shot. Harmony closed the door and started pointing around the dorm. "The kitchen is over there. And there's this little dip for a living room thingy right here. And over there is the kitchen. It has one of those cute tiny fridges for snacks~!." After pointing out the obvious a little bit, she watched as his thoughtful expression turned from one of childish comfort, running and making a rather large plop onto the bed. "Oh, you do...?" she asked a little slowly, her face turning a little pink. Clearly, he had paid no mind to the Team Edward pillow on it, or the stacks of stuff beside it. Quietly, she walked over in front of him. "Um... well, actually... That's my bed you're on..."

Kobe didn't give a rat's arse about the living room or the kitchen, which she'd mentioned twice. He couldn't help but keep laying back on the bed, not noticing anything off about it in any way. "Yeah. This one's soooo comfy," he mused, closing his eyes. He didn't notice her soft blush of the face. That is, until she walked over. He sat up, a small smile on his face. If he was going to enjoy this dorm, this bed would be a start. As she spoke, his smile fell, and he pushed himself off the bed and whipped around, eyeing the bed. Kobe felt like facepalming. "This is--" Dammit! All of this awkwardness was his fault. The piggyback ride. The being dragged into the room by force. The wrong choice of bed. He tried to act casual as he immediately turned away from Harmony, trying to hide the small shade of red that had appeared on his face. "Well, uhm..." He slowly chose the bed next to Harmony's, examining it to make sure nothing was... unusual about it. He gingerly sat down onto it, not making a big fuss about it as he did before. It was just as soft, and he trailed a palm over it, but that was all. He'd embarrassed himself enough for one day. "Excuse me for a moment, Harmony," he said. Kobe then took his pillow, looked at it for a moment, and then smashed it into his face, falling backwards onto his bed. "DAAAAAAMMIIIIIIIIIIIIIT!!" he cried into the white cottony pillow, voice muffled. Nevermind. I guess he hadn't embarrassed himself enough for one day...

"It's very comfy..." he agreed with him, a small smile growing on her face as he got comfortable. Well, this was kinda awkward. As he slowly realized what was going on, she glanced in the other direction and half-mindedly brushed a few bangs behind her ear. The young woman paid no mind as he slowly crawled to his own bed, nor when he screamed frustration into his pillow; instead, she walked over and tried to fold back the corners of her bed. Attempting to flatten out the blankets and pillows into neatness. She found it impossible to look perfect without undoing the entire thing and folding all up again. He really. Instead, Harmony shrugged and decided she'd just make it when she woke up the next day. The girl crawled on her bed and sat on her knees, grabbing a stuffed animal and holding it in her lap, she looked at Kobe expectantly. "Feel a little better?" she asked, that smile still on her face.

Kobe didn't notice what was going on as he kept the pillow firmly on his face. "I think I'm going to suffocate myself," he said to himself, hugging his face with the pillow tighter than before. Eventually, he felt his face hot with his breath, and he yanked the pillow from his face. Throwing the pillow back into place, he sat on his bed, not noticing how Harmony was sitting on her bed that he had rolled all over. And not only that, but she was holding a stuffed animal. His sister had packed a stuffed animal in his bags, as seen in a deleted topic. Kobe shook his head. "I have no clue what I feel," he said, giving a light laugh. He raised an eyebrow at how calm she looked, and how she had a random toy in her lap. As if she were ready for bed or something. Kobe just stared at her as he sat opposite of her, motionlessly, eyes dashing around awkwardly.

Harmony frowned, "Well, that wouldn't be very smart of you? Wouldn't you like, then... I don't know. Die?" She dug her chin into her large, animal friend (a dog, by the way. because dogs are awesome to her.) She tilted her head as he starting talking again. Huh, he seemed a little confused. That made her a little confused o.o. She suddenly smiled, "Oh, don't worry, this will be really great." The blonde assured him, fiddling around with the ears of her toy. "I mean, we can go and tell each other scary stories every night. And I hope you're good at math, you can help me with my homework." Or, wait, wouldn't it be dormwork? lolwat? She didn't know. Harmony didn't know what to say for a few moments, feeling the awkward silence in the dead air, she rubbed the back of her neck. "Do you know how to dance?"

"That's the point," he groaned. Was she really that oblivious of what he was actually trying to do? He looked up at her as she began speaking. Kobe listened, every word she uttered making him even more reluctant for the future. "Fat chance," he sneered. He was never the one who favored math; or any subject for that matter. Well he didn't necessarily deny it. Kobe also didn't enjoy the awkward silence that hung around him. That was when he began whistling involuntarily, tapping his feet in the air lightly, trying to remember a song in his mind. When Harmony asked him the question, he stopped the soft tapping of his feet, and looked at her. "Dance? Nah, I'm not much of a dancer," he said, sheepishly rubbing the back of his neck. "I wish. I never actually try to dance, but I know I'd be terrible... But I can play the drums pretty well." He looked up at her, fixing his eyes on her. "Why? Do you dance?" Well, durr, Kobe! D:< You saw her with your own eyes!

Why yes, as a matter of fact, she was. Why on earth would he want to do something so stupid as killing himself? Silly. "Well, darn..." Harmony frowned, swishing her mouth to the side. Alright, there had to be someone... anyone here at this school that could help her take on the horrible subject that was math! As he went on talking, she tilted her head curiously. "Drums? By like drums do you mean like they use in rock bands or marching bands?" She started tapping the in front of her with invisible sticks to describe the later; a sudden look of excitement. "Well, duh. You saw me dancing when you were spying on me, didn't you." She almost rolled her eyes. He couldn't even remember the one rude thing that started this whole ordeal? That aside, she seemed simply estatic at the idea that came to her mind. She loved her ideas~. "Well, I'm a top notch dancer, if I do say so myself." Or, at least, she liked to dance a lot on her free time and her mom had gotten her a lot of lessons. "I could give you a few private lessons if you'd like.". Private lessons~.

Kobe shook his head. "Marching bands? Naah. Yeah I'm more of a 'rock band' sort of drummer," he said. Marching bands totally disgusted him. It was hardly even drumming at all! He crinkled his nose at the thought of being in one of those marching bands in parades and shet. "I know a couple songs, but it doesn't usually sound good unless I'm singing with it, so yeah," he said, giving a shrug. "Oh, that's right! I saw-- hey, now, I wasn't necessarily spying," Kobe said defensively. Dancing wasn't really his thing, was it? He couldn't dance; he was almost certain of it. As she pulled a Tahno, offering private lessons, he gave a small shrug. "I suppose that'd be... fun. Though, if it's some ballerina kind of thing, count me out." He crossed his arms, not wanting to think about himself twirling around in a tutu. Shaking the unwanted thought, he wondered if he actually had a chance at dancing. Though, it depended on what kind of dancing it'd be.

The small girl nodded her head, making little 'uh-huh' noises to show she understood. Harmony had never really heard someone play the drums in person. The noise drove her parents up the wall and no body around the neighborhood played. And she rather liked watching marching bands. It was amazing how they all moved perfectly in sync! Well, the music wasn't all too great, but you had to give them some credit for the cool lines they formed. Harmony suddenly gasped silently, her expression of total surprise. Like that ':OO' face. "You sing too?" She crossed her arms as he tried to defend himself, "You were too. Just admit it." I mean, he could have just closed that door and walked away, right? Instead he left it open and tried to step back, and when she saw him, he was staring right at her. Creep. Then again, she was the one offering him 'private lessons'. "Well, not if you don't want to learn that. I could teach you other things." Harmony shrugged, a smile on her face.

Kobe gave a small nod. "Uh, yeah, I sing-- but it's not anything worth listening to," he said with a shrug. He remembered himself when he was younger; about 13, singing loudly while beating on the drums, gleefully bouncing in his chair to the beats. Hard to think that it was him only 2 years ago. He shook his head. He would never sing that loud again, that's for sure. Kobe snapped to reality when she teased him; saying that he was spying. As true as it was, he kept denying it. "I just happened to pass by is all. I was. not. spying." Liar, liar. He wished they could put that behind them anyhow. It wasn't that big a deal, and yet, she had gotten a free ride aaaalllll the way to their dorm. "I don't mind what it is, honestly," he stated. He didn't know how to dance very well at all, and with the dance not too far away, he was gonna make a complete fool of himself.

Harmony shrugged, "Still, you'll have to sing for me one time." She didn't even bother to answer to his denying any longer. He was wrong. She was right. That was the end of that. When he finished talking, a smile suddenly grew on her face. The young woman jumped off the bed, tossing her stuffed animal aside gently. "Come on~ You can start learning right now!" Harmony put one knee on the bed and leaned over him slightly. She grabbed Kobe's arm again, much like she had done before, and tried to get him back on his feet. Never mind the fact that he might have been tired from carrying her all across the school~. But come on. He wanted to learn and she was damn well happy to teach him. ifyouknowutimeen.

"Eeeh, I dunno," he said. He didn't really like... singing in front of people. After their small argument was ignored, he knew she was finished with it. D'aww he didn't win that argument this time. Kobe was a little astounded when she decided that he should begin now. "Start right now? Wh--" He was cut short by her leaning over him a bit and jerking him to his feet. He blinked in surprise, a little late in what was happening. He stood for a bit, regaining his focus. "Right now? But um..." Kobe's eyes flickered around the room nervously. "Okay, go...? I'll try to... imitate you... or something," he suggested. He couldn't dance to save his life, and he knew it. He gave a short step to the side to give her some room. He just hoped she began with easy moves.
