Luke Dances

Lucas stood in the dance part of the studio and slipped a CD in the CD player and a piano dancing music came on and he started dancing acting like he had a dance partner

Harmony walked into the room, a small bag at her side as she watched the boy that had already beaten her there. 'Wow. He dances too?' she thought, setting his bag down and watching him closely. 'He's kinda sloppy, though.' As if she were the expert on the topic. pfft. The blonde girl watched and waited for his song to finish.

Once the song ended he noticed the girl "Oh hello"

"Hi. I'm Harmony." She said quickly and frowned, walking on the tips of her toes and doing a little dance around they boy who was taller than her by far, probably a good deal older too. "You need to stand up straighter when you dance. Be lighter on your feet." Her green eyes glared up at the boy as if it were common sense.

"Like this?" he said standing taller and dancing lighter on his feet doing a circle around the girl

"Better, but you're still too stiff." Harmony said, "You have to flow with the music." She wasn't exactly sure how to explain it, and in front of the mirror she took several small steps, her small, nimble body unable to help but do a little twirl at the end of her example.

Luke copied Harmony exept for the twirl "My name is Luke by the way"

"Well, it's nice to meet you, Luke." She smiled. A new friend? "How come you're dancing here?"

"Its quieter here" he said redoing that sequence Harmony did while talking without the twirl

"You don't look like much of a dancer." She inquired, walking over to turn the music back on.

"Really?" he asked

Harmony shook her head no and began to loose herself in the unfamiliar music, making up her steps as she went.

Luke tried to copy her and said "You don't look like a dancer either"

"How so?" Harmony stopped and frowned up at him, her hands on her hips.

"I don't know you just don't look like one" he said

"Why?" Harmony suddenly looked disappointed. She did too look like one? Right? I mean, she liked to do it so much, the image should gave grown on her over time... right? ;_;

"I just uh...didnt think..." Aww shit...don't embarrass yourself Luke "I didn't think a pretty girl like you could dance so well"

Harmony felt a sudden blush creep on her face, "W-well... uh? Thanks? Or forget you... I guess? I don't know/." she huffed again and turned her attention back to her dancing. That was... um. okay. o-o

"Uh your welcome" he said and started dancing

Harmony took deep breathes as she spun in circles, doing her very best to keep light on the tips of her toes. Honestly, she didn't know whether to be flattered or disgusted. This guy was totally different from her. Well, not really, but she didn't belong here. She didn't want to be here. Her entire "gift" was a mistake. It made her into someone horrible; some freak. This guy here, he was one of those weirdos as well. If he thought she was pretty, what was she supposed to think of that? It was just...
The small blonde sighed and ended on flat feet at the song stopped, pausing a few moments before skipping to the next track. Really, she didn't know what to say to Luke.

"What's your power? Mine is mind control" he said walking over to the CD player and changed the CD to a hip-hop CD and started dancing to a music he was familiar with so he danced to it better

Harmony paused as he changed the music. Well, she couldn't really dance like this, not without looking like a total white-girl anyways. Normally, she wouldn't have minded that, except his question made her feel even more uncomfortable. Actually, she looked almost afraid. "You can control minds...? Like, really?" Harmony rubbed her arm, "I... I sing and make people tired... I guess..." she muttered and looked down, ignoring the fact he danced slightly better under such music.

"Yoir powers better than mine, sometimes mine makes me feel like im a monster" he sighed

Harmony blinked at him, "Everyone in this school is a monster." She whispered under her breathe. Even her. Her emerald gaze flicked back up to Luke, unsure what to say to him other than. "I'm sorry." She said nothing for a bit after that... Was she? Why would she be?

"Your not a monster" he said then said "I got to go"
