I'm on a roof, i'm on a roof, hey everybody look at me cuz i'm on a muddafuggin roof

Josh sat quietly ontop of the roof, sitting near the edge and staring at the fountain infront of the school's massive doors. He looked around, seeing students littered everywhere, having fun, being happy. That was not one thing that were to come upon that young Wright often. Nopers. He was daydreaming of the fun he had had with Katie, and shed one, single tear. He blinked, coming back to existance, and wiped the tear off his face. He rubbed his shoes together out of boredom. He pulled out a small gameboy and started to play a game, but that quickly got boring too. He put it back into his pocket and buried his face in his hands. Why?

Don't even try and ask me what Harmony was doing up on the roof. No, you wanna know why? Because fawk you, that's why. Okay, really. The young lady was simply feeling rather adventurous at the moment, and while someone seemed to be content with staring down at the ground, she was more focused on getting a sky-view. To look up. At the trees, the mountains, and the clouds. She wanted to see if there was anything at all near this school, that was seemingly in the middle of nowhere. And if she could her window room from up here. That'd be pretty cool too.

Gripping on fiercely to the sides, she climbed up to the peak, letting out a huge grin of victory that she was able to do so. Feeling rather brave, the blonde slowly got up on her feet standing up straight. No, there was nothing out here, really. She could see the lake though! It really was a spectacular view~. Harmony sighed breathlessly, the wind forcing her to keep pushing her hair out of her face. It was rather strong up here, she was almost - oh fffff-

With a small scream, she lost her balance, tumbling over to the opposite side. A little desperately, Harmony gripped at the rails running straight into Josh and nearly sending them both flying off the roof. That would have been ugly. Thankfully, though, she slowed herself down enough to stop them from doing so. "I'm sorry -" she yelped, quickly scuttling away from the edge. "I'm just - oh my god." She was only a little freaked out. Alright, this may not have been such a good idea.

Sorry for the longness. I ended up explaining why she was up there anyways. xD

Josh stood up, brushing his pants off, and cocked his head at Harmony.

"I- uh-" Harmony blinked hard, "W-what are you doing up here?"

"Being depressed. You?" he retorted.

"Oh, you know." Harmony breathed, "Running into strangers. Falling off of buildings. All that fun stuff." The young lady sat down next to him, but kept a safe distance away from the edge. Er - maybe she'd leave when he did. Because she totally wasn't nervous now about the climb back up to the other side, nope.
She blinked, "What's wrong with ya'?" Welp, might as well start up some conversation while they were here, and luckily Harmony wasn't one to notice other people's bubbles.

"What, you didn't hear about three students dying?" Obviously he didn't get out much, so he didn't know she was new :3

Harmony's eyes grew wide in surprise. "N- No. I didn't." Quietly she brought her knees up to her chest, feeling rather sad now too. "I'm new to the school.... I'm sorry."

"Oh. Sorry I snapped at you." Now he felt bad. ;A; "Well, two of the three were my friends-- one was basically the brother I never had, even though she's a girl." Lol. He has nate, dunt he? Lul.

Nate =

"It's okay." Harmony muttered, "I bet you're sad and really angry too. But - they're not really gone, you know..."

"Wot?" he asked in a totally fake british accent.

The young blonde smiled a little. Okay. "They're up there in heaven, love~" Harmony answered back in an equally horrible accent. Alright, screw this. She wasn't even going to bother to try and keeping it up. The girl let out a small giggle in spite of the tension before moving on with her point. "Or maybe they're right next to you and you don't even know it."
Her green eyes flashed up at Joshua. I mean, apparently her roommate could see ghosts. Maybe like that? Or maybe they were more like guardian angels now. She liked that idea a lot more.

Josh cocked his head at her. "Psh." he answered. "I shouldn't be babbling it to random people, anyway." Wait. Random people? He looked back at her. She.. looks a lot like Mel! he thought, staring. "Are you related to Mel?" he asked, cocking his head.

"It's better to talk about it than just make yourself all sad like that." Harmony muttered, then surprisingly caught off guard. She looked at Josh wide eyed for a moment before smiling, "You know my sister?"

"Psh. Of course I do. Nate talks about her all the time. He's my brother," he said, totally undermining his earlier statement about Katie being the female brother he never had and shet. :3

And their roommates, too. But pfft. Cx "Hey, I know him!" That's the dude-person Mel ... Was dating. She thought they had broken up maybe. These things were always unclear to her. Still, Harmony grinned. "Really?" The girl laughed lightly again. "Small world~"

"I doubt there's more than 100-200 students, so yeah, it's pretty small." He grinned. Whoa. How odd would it be if they dated? That's what happened to my parents. //shot

That would be funny. xD Except there's a pretty decent age gap between the two of them and lord knows how many tables Nate and Mel would flip. How'd that work out for your parents? o_o /end random spamming conversation. xD

The young woman nodded happily, feeling a little cheered up now at the change of conversation. "I'm Harmony." she offered, "What's your name?"

"Joshua." he answered.

Actually, it was my mom's brother who dated my dad's sister first and then they dated eachother. And now there's me so it obviously worked out well lul <3

"That's a nice name." She said, smiling and staring out at the forest again, still having to keep the wind from sweeping her hair in her face. "When you're not almost falling off the roof, it's pretty nice up here."

She stayed quiet for a few minutes after that, wondering if he'd say something, but he didn't. So she started talking again. "You're going to the dance, aren't you?"

"Maybe, i haven't really decided." Ohmygodwashebeingaskedoutwtf?

pfft. Hell, no. That was the guy's job. And she was dragging Kobe with her anyways. Though if he did ask her to dance, she wouldn't decline. Then again, she wouldn't with any boy. Ahem. But she did know he helped set up the entire thing, he might as well go.
"You should." Harmony urged him, trying to look bright and reassuring. "It'll be fun~."

Oh, Okay. He's magically 14 now so it's appropriate yus~

"O-okay.. uhm.. would you like to go with me? oAo" he asked quietly, blushing a bit. //lolnerd
