Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) Empty
PostSubject: Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone)   Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) EmptyTue Jul 24, 2012 8:22 pm

"HEY! WATCH OUT!" Harmony squealed, running through the entire hallway holding a box labeled "fragile". That's fra-gee-lay. She figured it must have been Italian. (I swear to God, if any of you get that reference, I will love you forever.)

Irene flinched, seeing the small girl sprint through the clearing, nearly tripping over herself but quickly recovering. "Careful, you idiot!" The earth guardian growled after her, "Those plates are easily -" She watched as the enthusiastic blonde reached her destination, practically dropping the fine ware straight until the floor, creating an echo through the entire room. Irene let out a harsh flinch. "... breakable ..." Well, this was just perfect. When she had asked for volunteers (or more-so, hunted down the nearest people and kinda forced them attend) to help set up for the dance in a few days; well, she should have made sure that they were people that would actually listen? You had no idea how many strings this young woman had to pull to get this event to happen, at the size it would be. Why she was doing it for the kids? She didn't even know.

With a sigh, the guardian ran after Harmony to check on the fine dining.

Hey, it wasn't her fault that she was so excited~. They had been here a few hours and with every new decoration that was being put up, she couldn't help but stare in awe and imagine how completely magical the night would be. She had never been to her school prom before, and this was like a private ball extravaganza thingy! This would definitely make up for her small birthday. I mean, it wouldn't be all about her, but that wouldn't make it any less amazing. ... Now all she needed to do was throw Kobe in a formal suit and get him to dance with her, then it'd be perfect. Because seriously, you can't have a dance without... well... dancing.

Irene finally caught up with her, an irritated look on her face. "You," she put her hands on her hips and glared down at the young girl, who was surprisingly unaffected by the older woman's intimidation. "What the hell do you think you're doing?!"

While the two of them started bickering, several large chairs were being carried into the grand hall, being set down as gently as possible. "Oh, thank Jesus." Nathaniel sighed out of exhaustion, plopping himself down in one of the overly ornate seats. Two more to be added to the thirty or so he had already brought in from the complete other side of the campus. Thankfully, though, this seemed to be the last of it. He wasn't about to go back for more unless Irene rode his arse for it. Honestly, he didn't even know why he was here helping out. He had been walking innocently down the halls when the strange blonde had practically grabbed him by the ear and dragged him to the room, assigning him his task. Really, though, he'd rather not be here. With all that had been going on recently, he questioned if he wanted to go at all. I mean, would she be going? And would she be going with him? After the other day, he certainly assumed so.

Nate sat there instead of making himself busy. Irene finished ranting and went back to help setting up things. Harmony, however, ran up to Tristan. "Hey~ Whatcha' doiiiinnn'?" she asked happily.

Teegan was not here by choice, in fact she was more like forced to be here by a scary girl with unaturally light hair and threatening eyes and being the shy girl she knew she was who was she to say no. With a shudder Teegan walked into the Grand Hall, but it wasn't very grand at all. It's walls were plain and it seemed just.. average. Which gave Teegan a little spark because in a strange way it reminded her of herself.

Tristian on the other hand was very disapointed on the fact the grand hall was bland. B-I-N-G-O HELLO? Were these people crazy? Don't answer that the answer is yes. He too was forced decided to join the party planning. Yay. Seriously, Tristian loved party planning. He was born fabulous and anything he did was easily just as fabulous.

Teegan was quite embarresed by her brother and tried to escape him by venturing over to Nate. "Hi" she said quitely, almost hiding behind him. A blush already on her cheeks.

Tristian on the other hand was being distracted by some blonde girl wearing WAY too much pink. Hello chicka, less was more. "Trying not to get an eyesore." He responded to the small, bubbly girl, staring unruley at her outfit. Until he spotted Teegan talking to a very handsome boy. Teegan, is sister? No, no, no. She was not getting a boyfriend before he did. Marching over Tristian smiled flirtasiously at Nate.

Oh no, Teegan thought as she saw her brother marching over. "Brace yourself." She whispered to Nate, turning a bright red and scurrying away, only after tripping over a box labbled "Fragile". Oops, she could have sworn that wasn't there before.

Tristian grined as his sister ran away and extended a hand. "Hello cutie. I don't think I've seen you before." He said to Nate giving him a wink.

Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone)   Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) EmptyTue Jul 24, 2012 9:47 pm

The young man had been in his own little thoughts, he had hardly noticed the light-footed woman come up to him until she had actually spoke. He shook the depressing thoughts away and gave her a crooked smile, catching her eye. "Hey, Teegan." He hadn't talked to her in a while. Was she forced to come here too?

Meanwhile, Harmony was on the other side of the room being completely oblivious to his comments. Too much pink?! Pfft. Was even such a thing even possible? Still, she figured he was talking talking about the large room. She glanced around, eying the old wood and stained glass windows. "It is kinda boring, isn't it?" she asked, glancing up at the ceiling, a small smile growing on her face. "I like that chandelier, though~." She glanced up at it. It was large, sparkling with diamonds, maybe? It was rather, well... grand compared to the rest of the room. Harmony blinked after Tristan as he scuttled away. What was he doing? The question didn't last long, though, noticing a strange girl trip over the box she had set on the ground.

Irene will just be over here flipping a table, kay?

Nathan gave his friend a curious look as she tried to get away, "What - why?" He then caught the mischievous look on Tristan's face. Oh dear, Lord. Ebony just died. Well, this was rather awkward for him, yet still he couldn't help but notice the likeliness between him and Teegan, siblings maybe? Nate laughed lightly and threw his gaze this other way, this was not happening. "You've probably just been hanging around in the wrong places." He said in a whimsical tone, really the situation robbed him of any clever comments to say back; alright, let's make this shiz clear, he hadn't any problem with erm... guys like Tristan, unless they hit on him. Hopefully, he could find a subtle way to let the stranger down. I mean, he couldn't just blurt out "I'm straight! D:" That'd be like talking to a girl and her blurting "I'm married!" Just horrible.

He took his hand, giving it a small shake, "Nathaniel." He dropped his name. "You must be new around here." Standing up, he released his grip and, as casually as he could manage to appear, hovered in Teegan's direction, trying to make it appear as if he were working. Of course he didn't just leave Tristan there, that would be rude, it was more of a... silent plea for help? Ahem. Teegan. Distraction. Now. Please. ;w;

PostSubject: Re: Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone)   Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) EmptyTue Jul 24, 2012 10:27 pm

Tristian wasn't even fazed by Nate's uncomfortable looks. "Obviously I haven't." He said looking up and down Tristian's body with a hungry look on his face. He smiled flirtatiously rubbing Nate's arm.

Teegan on the other hand was dying on the spot. Not the arm rub, she knew what was coming next. Dear god help Nate because he was going to need it. If only she was more out going, she would've helped him. She wasn't though, so thats why she continued to pretend she was helping, but peeking at her brothers where abouts.

Tristian grinned as this very cute boy as he introduced himself. "OH MY GOD! Nathanial? That's so cliche, I was almost named Nathanial, but don't worry the name works so much better, escpecially with your bonestructure!" He basically squealed like a little schoolgirl. He couldn't help it, he was just as much as a girl as Teegan, maybe even more. "My name is Tristian." He said calmly, FINALLY taking his hand off Nate's arm. "I barely even know my way around," he said putting his hand dramatically on his forhead. "Maybe sometimes you could.... show me around;)" He added walking his fingers up Nate's chest.

Once again Teegan was to petrified to move. She saw Nate's pleads for help, but all her blood was at her face and she had no strength to move any part of her body. She couldn't even mouth the words "I'm sorry." She felt her bottum lip wobbling and tried her hardest to hold back tears of ebarressment. Leave it to Tristian to ruin the only friendship she had ever had.

PostSubject: Re: Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone)   Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) EmptyTue Jul 24, 2012 11:14 pm

Oh dear lord, this guy was even more predatory than Nathaniel was, much to his dismay. He tried his best to stay calm, though, shooting Tristan a mild look of amusement, hoping more-so that he would get bored of Nate and walk away. Apparently, it wasn't working.

Dammit Teegan, he would not forget this. ;AA; "Oh, well - er. Thanks." Nathan said a little awkwardly. With his - ...? No, don't even bother, boy. Just roll with it. He laughed lightly at his squealing and otherwise 'girl-ish' reactions, trying to take light of the awkwardness. That was, until he got a little close for comfort. OKAY. That's enough. The young man laughed breathlessly, pushing Tristian's hand away. "I'm sorry, sir. Really, I'd love too, but I'm just a real busy man." He grinned, albeit rather nervously, and took a few steps back, walking up to Teegan and placing one arm on her shoulder, ignoring her clear distress. "You'll have to wait your turn, I still have to give this lovely lady the grand tour." Nate smiled cheekily and turned his golden gaze down to Teegan, silently hoping she'd just go with it.

Harmony was dying in the corner of the room, oh that poor guy - ~ Wait, wasn't that her sister's boyfriend getting hit on? /she was real slow, not paying much mind to mel's personal life.

Irritably, Irene shouted down the hall at Tristian. "Excuse me!" she called, tossing a little decoration aside. "I'd had figured if the room was to tactless, you'd be more enthusiastic about getting the job done." Hell, the theme was a secret garden. The garden part she could take care of, thanks to her powers, but for the rest of it might just need his touch...

Josh walked into the hall, Michael next to him. Together the practically-friends had made a huge banner for the dance. And Ebs will tell me what it says and i'll edit this post cause I can and stuffs. The two carried the huge, heavy folded up banner over to a little table for stuff. They put it down, and Josh sighed. Hopefully this will at least be a little fun, he thought. Michael cocked his head at the depressed teenager. "Hey, let it go for a bit, okay? If we're gonna have this dance, we oughta get back to work." The normally completely emotionless guy obviously looked forward to the event. "We're gonna need a ladder." he added, looking at Josh expectantly. He sighed for a third time [lul], standing up, heading towards the door.

Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone)   Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) EmptyWed Jul 25, 2012 12:01 am

This was not cool. Tristian couldn't believe his eyes as Nate swung his arm around his plain-jane sister. Was this a joke? Where were the hidden cameras? "Puh-lease! Teegan? B-I-N-G-O, HELLO? You are way to good for her!" He said, a cruel sting to his voice. "If you want to have a good time, ask my sister where to find me." He hissed, doing a sassy snap and sashaying away. Ugh, stupid boy. Deny your gay pride now, but just give Tristian some time and he would have him just about as straight as a circle. Rude.

Teegan on the other had was extremely embarressed. She shuddered and as soon as his bare skin on his arm touched her bare neck she quickly tensed up. Was Nate crazy? A flirty Tristian was bad, but an angry Tristian was like the honey badger, he was bad ass. With wide eyes she backed away from her angry brother, shaking like a chihuahua. "Uhh...." Was all she could muster. Lovely? Did he really mean it or was he only saying it to get rid of her sassy brother. Not sure what to do she nodded like an idiot, her hair whipping around awkwardly and her eyes wide. It was easy to say she was scared, but even that was a bit of an understatement.

Tristian was so angry he didn't even think about his next movement. He hooked arms with Harmony and said, " You are my new best friend." And that was that, suddenly Tristian had a new best friend. "Can you believe that Nate guy? Ugh, he has som serious problems!" He hissed to her quietly. He opened his mouth to start another conversation, when that girl marched over. Dang she was bossy. She wasn't even pretty enough to be bossy. She needed some serious lowlights and puh-lease guuurrrl make up never hurt anyone. "Bitch please, leave the decorating to the queen. I got dis." He said with a snap and a head roll. Wasn't he just the sass master?

With a nervous cough Teegan wiggled out from under Nate's arm. "I'm sorry you had to meet my family this way." She whispered nervously. "Normally hes not... like this." she continued with a nervous giggle and the awkward sway she did when she was really really embarressed.

Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone)   Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) EmptyWed Jul 25, 2012 1:17 am

Nathaniel simply ran his fingers through his hair, unable to say anything back to the sassy man and really not fond of starting anything, especially at a time like this and a guardian just on the other side of the room. Then he spotted his brother and his friend. "Josh! Michael!" He hissed under his breathe, trying to motion around, passively trying to catch their attention... Wait. Michael, look this way - No, Josh! Where were you going?! COME BACK! HALP A BROTHUR! ;___; Welp, there went that idea.

Thankfully, though his little idea seemed to work and Tristian was finally backing off. "Thanks." Nate muttered down to the girl as her brother walked away, angry unfortunately, but that was alright. Since the coast seemed to be clear, he let Teegan scramble away, relief washing his face. "It's alright." The young man laughed it off lightly, picking up on every bit of her embarrassment, easily guessing why. "It's not your fault your brother's so - erm... fabulous?" He held up a hand and shrugged in offering, really there weren't too many other words he could think to describe him. Outgoing, maybe? But even that wasn't strong enough. Either way, "I'm sorry for putting you through that..." Nate did figure it was a little cruel of him to hide the shy and socially awkward girl, rather than facing the queer like a man... a straight man.. Ahem. You get it. Not cool of him, yo.

Harmony looked a little surprised at first, especially after being blown off not a few minutes ago, but shrugged it off quickly and smiled. "Fine by me." she said back happily, going along with the conversation. "I know. I mean, he's got the looks, but he has no idea what he's ever doing... I don't know why my sister likes him so much." She rolled her eyes. lol. she had no idea what she was saying. When Irene walked over, she slipped out of his grip and started to get back to work near-by. This for sure would take more than one day to finish, and honestly, she didn't feel like being pestered by the earth guardian.

Irene simply rolled her eyes and gestured for Tristian to hurry up. *cough* Desken thinks she's purdy. ;___; /grows mushrooms in a corner. Honestly, she thought she was just fine with the way she looked, and hardly felt appearance was most important when killing hideous monsters and keeping the entire school from dying; but that was just her. Then again, for an event like this, perhaps she should change that attitude, at least for the night. She brushed the two of them and walked up to Michael. "And what are you two doing?" she questioned.

"Putting up this banner you asked for!" He picked up the heavy-arse banner and smiled painfully.
He slowly put it back down. "Josh is going to go get a ladder to put it up." And as Michael mentioned his name, Josh was trying to stand back up as he had tripped over something on the ground. It was an empty box. Lul. He turned around, seeing Nathaniel just about going crazy at him. Wut? Josh gave him an odd look, raising an eyebrow with expectant eyes. What do you want?

Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone)   Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) EmptyWed Jul 25, 2012 2:47 am

Oh come on. You know that I absolutely had to do this.

It seemed that this pre-party was a party in its self. Melody had volunteered to help Irene, because like her sister, she loved parties! And planning them, of course. She walked into the large, grand... Well, Grand Hall, and looked around. Woah, there was a lot more people helping out then expected. She questioned how many people choice to, and how many were forced into this. Though, it didn't appear to her that everyone was doing their part. She'd have to change that. She was tightening her pony tail whenever she spotted... him and narrowed her eyes for just a moment before she turned away. Her mood dropped just a bit, but she didn't let it show on her face. As if that mattered. Now, she looked around and spotted Irene, who she happened to know was pretty much the head of this operation. Careful not to look over at him, she strolled over to Irene. "Is there anything I can help with?" She asked politely, her eyes glowing with determination.

It seemed that Irene would be getting a lot of attention today, because Melody wasn't the only one that made their way towards the blonde guardian. "So this'll be your sweet sixteen, won't it? Granted, it'll be a little belated, but it's still pretty big." A deep voice mused from behind Irene as Desken walked into the ballroom and up to her, just before Melody got there. He had a smile in his voice that mimicked the slight one playing on his lips. "And I suppose everyone will be there." Like Harmony, Irene could probably pretend that this was a party for her, if she had the imagination of the eccentric girl. For some reason, Desken doubted that.

Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone)   Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) EmptyWed Jul 25, 2012 7:40 am

Dude, that box was going to end up killing someone. Seriously. xD

Nathaniel realized that he had finally caught his brother's attention and let out a clueless shrug now. Well, there was no point now! Thanks a lot. He waved his hand, dismissing his older sibling. 'Just... go get that ladder.'

It was right about then when, out of the corner of his eye, he noticed her walk in. His first instinct was to dart his gaze away before she could even notice that he was there, instead looking at the ground under their feet. He honestly couldn't help but feel her emotions take a downturn, and guessed that was when she figured out his presence, but still he tried to ignore it; tried putting up a mental wall between them to practically match up with the physical one they had both silently created. Still, it didn't work completely. Yeah, you wanna talk about trying to break some bonds, girl? D; So instead, he hid the hurt look in his eyes and forced himself to cheer back up.

"So, did you need help with anything? I'm not getting screamed at, so I think I'm free for the moment?" He smiled softly, turning his attention back to Teegan, still hoping she'd accept his apology.

Irene was nodding quietly at Michael, "Er - Great. Find someplace to hang it..." She honestly didn't care. Did she want a banner in the first place? She didn't think so, since they weren't celebrating anything in particular, ... but she wouldn't put it past herself to forget. The young woman had a very modern taste, liking everything very simplistic and clean-like; but open and natural as well. Any other style, well, ... wasn't really her forte. Another reason to thank Tristian for being here, as annoying as he was.

She heard a small squeal from the back and whipped around, seeing a familiar girl in pink trying to unbury herself from a fallen town of boxes. Oh dear - That girl seriously did more harm than good. (Eh? Ehh? u c wut i did thar? >w> lolkmovingon.) Hopefully the boxes were okay. Now, having been pretty much distracted kinda made this situation worse, having heard his voice before anything else. It sent a freezing chill through her body, to say the least. "Don't be stupid." Irene called behind her, appearing relatively calm. Only Nate and Josh would be able to tell that she was caught off guard, if they even bothered to notice. She turned to face Desken and crossed her arms, not having expected him to show up, especially since he didn't have too. "It's just something to keep the kids entertained. You know it."

She blinked as Melody approached. Huh. Someone who actually wanted to come and work. Well, chances were that there was, but nothing she could be bothered with. At this point, she was more concerned with trying to figure out how to turn this place into an oasis rather than the down to scale decorating. The math was going on in her mind. "Go talk to him." She told the girl, pointing back in Tristian's direction.

PostSubject: Re: Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone)   Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) EmptyThu Jul 26, 2012 2:47 am

Tristian rolled his eyes at Harmony's mindless comments. If it weren't for her root he could've sworn she was a natural blonde. Hm. Wait, did he just hear... Banner? Oh H to the E to the double chopsticks. "OH HELL NO! This is a classy party, not some cheap little kids party with some crack-pot clown! Have some class.." He basically screamed marching over pointer finger wiggling and jimmy choos clacking.

Trying to avoid the embarrassment Teegan picked up the box labbled "Fragile" and peeked inside. Oops, so she had cracked the small ceramic bird that was inside. Honestly it wasn't much of a loss, it was as tacky as Tristians favourite orange pair of shorts that Teegan hated more than violence. But at that time she saw her too, Melody. She had always been afraid of Melody, such so that she squeaked and dropped the box, now shattering Tristians tacky ceramic bird. "Oh.. Uh... Let me clean that up." She said her normal shade of red creeping back on her. It didn't help that now Nate was trying to talk to her again. Was he not going to run to his girlfriend? It was clear she was not informed about their break up. "No." She replied quietly sweeping the glass off the ground with her hand, only to cut her finger, smooth huh?

Ugh, first a stupid banner, now his stupid sister. Not even bothering to say anything he suddenly found himself with a migraine he beckoned to Harmony and said, "Brittney, quick I need an aspirin! This is an emergency, like your choice in fashion!" What? She had never told him her name and let's be honesty, only Brittneys would ever make such fatal fashion choices.

Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) Empty
PostSubject: Re: Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone)   Getting ready for the dance. (Open for anyone) EmptyThu Jul 26, 2012 3:20 am

Yeah, I'm not even going to attempt to make my post that long. *lazybish*

Surprise was practically written on her face for a moment as she registered Irene's order. Melody tried not to look disappointed that she had been stuck with such a petty task, and she nodded, determined to help once again. "If it would help..." She responded to Irene, unsure as she began walking away. She didn't notice Teegan's freak out upon seeing her, and only looked her way a moment at the sound of something breaking. Though, as soon as she looked over at Nate who was beside the girl, she frowned and turned away.
She stopped in spot for just a moment as her sister walked away, catching the end of their conversation and gritting her teeth. That was her man she was insulting- oh wait... No, he wasn't. So why should she care? Stupid, stupid, Mel. Get a grip. Following that order in a more literal sense, she walked over to Tristan and toke Harmony's spot, hooking her arm with his and flashing him a smile. She really should have thought about what she was going to say, because now she had nothing.

Okay Mel, think of something. Quick!
Um.. I'll ask about Harm!
No way. Stupid idea. Don't do that. Do you really want to talk about your sister?
Oh. Good point. Um... I'll flatter him! Guys love flattery!
Okay, good idea.
*mentally brofists self*

Yeah, that's right bitches. Mel talks to hear self. *shot* "Hiya." She began in a perky tone. The family resemblance between the two was blatant, aside from the the slight changes in hair and the greater difference in eye color. In other words, Melody looked a lot like this guy's 'best friend.' "You don't mind if I hang out with you for a while, right?" She questioned, flashing him the puppy eyes for half a second before flipping the hair from her eyes and grinning. "Oh, and I'm loving the outift!" She complimented, giving him a quick assessment, looking him up and down, suppressing a shiver. It was only slightly tacky. She was quiet for a moment, but since this was Melody we were talking about, she spoke again. "Her name is Harmony, by the way. Trust me, if I could, I'd complete destroy her wardrobe and replace it with something more tasteful." She murmured to him, keeping her tone light and dramatically rolling her eyes.
Oh, and by the way Tristan- Mel has got those lowlights and make up you were asking for. ;w; *shot*

Desken shrugged, crossing his arms and looking around at the ball room. Well, it was coming along. He didn't really care for design, but at least it was better than the big and empty room it was before. "Well, if you put some imagination into it, it bet it could be." He replied, amusement in his voice. He thought that would be nice for Irene. She had said she wanted to be a normal teen, right? Well, this was practically a rite of passage for a normal teenage girl. She could have her sweet sixteen- if she wasn't to focused on work.
He had come here to see how things were going- and honestly, the guardian had gotten bored and needed something to do.

and ebs... i c wut u ded der. |D

He rubbed the back of his neck quickly as she stayed quietly. Had he heard her? I mean, this room was kinda getting loud now with all the people + Tristian. Or, maybe she had. Was she ignoring him? No, she didn't seem like the type to pull that kinda c - well, then again, she was unusually shy like that... Nathaniel had tried to give the girl a little distance, but when she dropped that killer box down on the floor (Irene flinched again), he couldn't help but react, getting down on the floor with her. "No, really. Let me help. It's fine." He asked, staring down the broken bird for a few moment. Ugh, dude. That thing was freaky looking - ... He knew better than to try and pick up the shattered pieces with his bare hands, but apparently the frantic girl didn't.

Seeing the small amount of blood, he frowned. "Be careful." It looked like the nick from the glass was small, but deep, bringing out nice little flash of red. (That's how they always are with me anyways e_e). Nate looked around momentarily and picked out a small piece of cloth from the dropped box, making sure it was clean before he helped dabbed it on her finger. There wasn't really a choice if she wanted him too or not, it was pretty clear he insisted on it. "You really gotta' learn to slow down and relax a little." He teased lightly.

Well, aside from the totally awkward situation, with the two of them in their own little bubble (and I'm sure with le Lil getting tired. =w=), it seemed like a good time to ask. Really, this had been in the back of his mind for a little bit, ever since... well, yeah... He glanced at up and Melody for a moment, who was now getting to know Tristian a little. Come on, now. Two could play at this game, and Teegan was an awesome girl, even if she didn't realize it. With that said... "So, when we're done setting this thing up and the dance is actually here - Well, I'm kinda dateless that night, so would you wanna go with me?" His voice was light, hoping for the easiest reaction.

Irene had simply nodded at Melody and watched her pass by, paying no mind if she was either excited or disappointed. She sighed and crossed her arms, "I suppose so, though I doubt it would be that easy." YAY! She got to celebrate her birthday by going around and yelling at the students~ Actually, now that I think about it, for Irene that would be pretty sweet. /shot. No, but really. On the night of the dance, most likely she'd try to see it for what it really was, but honestly who knew what could happen. "You, though - " Irene frowned and put a finger on his chest accusingly, as if he should have been here hours ago to help. " - Can make yourself useful instead of walking around and wasting time."

Let me jut go ahead and shorten the standards for y'all.

Sure Tristian was perky, but when another perky blonde came up and hooked arms with him he only had to laugh. "Oh... You must be... the sister. Don't worry Hun, I won't hate you, but stay away from MY man." and with that he did a sassy snap-headroll combo and went back to barking orders at stupid, tactless people. Geez, give him a dull out fit and dye his hair a dull shade of blonde and call him Irene.

On the other side of te Grand Hall Teegan was motionless. "Blood. She whispered faintly, suddenly turning pail. "B-b-blood?" Yikes, have fun with that one Nate.
Totally freaked out by the fact her finger was now bleeding, she didn't even notice the fact that Nate was getting jelous over Melody. So of course his way of getting back at Melody was to ask Teegan to the dance. Ouch. Teegan, didn't know this. You could obviously tell by her wide eyed expression and how she looked about to faint... Wait for it... Oh yeah, there she went. Granted she was up in the next two seconds, but it was real. "I Uh... Uh... I... Um," she started slowly, turning red an slightly giggly. "Yeah, Uh that'd be great! I mean. Sounds fun... But what about Melody?" She said faintly, now full of giggling and turning a shade of red that was nearly purple. Cute.

Melody raised an eyebrow as he laughed at her. She held back the surprised look that was coming up, and glanced over at Nathaniel as he dabbed Teegan's hand with a cloth. Oh, if Mel only heard what was going on... Lord help us all. xDD She could make some assumptions, from the dangerous shade of red the girl's face was turning and that unending bubbly laugh that she had. Yup. No doubt about it. Nate was definitely flirting. Mel looked away quickly, trying to conceal the hurt feelings inside, attempting to put up a mental wall like Nate had tried. She glanced back at Tristan, turning all her attention to the eccentric boy. "Yeah, I'm the sister." She replied with a light laugh, copying his dramatic tone. "But I think you'll be happy to know that there isn't anything going on between us." She held up her free hand in a white flag kinda way. "So you can have him. He's completely YOUR man." In fact, I encourage you having him. See how that works out. Yup, that'll be fun to watch. She held back another laugh. Yeah, have fun with Tristan, Nate. She thought, glancing his way once more.

Desken shrugged in defeat. Though, it was more of a 'you won the battle, but you won't win the war' kinda shrug. No, he wouldn't let this go. Whenever she place a finger on his chest, Desken raised an eyebrow. touchy. i liek. ;D "Hey, hey." He said defensively, throwing his hands up in surrender. "I didn't have to come down here and help. I did it out of the kindness of my heart. But anyway," He toke a step back and dramatically bowed to Irene, a smirk on his face. "How can I be of service?"

Harmony had seen that her new best-friend was in a way sorta stolen, and she frowned about it for a second, but really she didn't care all that too much. There was simply too much work to be done. And she was too a natural blonde, thank you very much - Well, she saw it as a good thing... meh. Oh look, a box! ;w;

"Hey, there -" Nate said suddenly, seeing all the color leave her face. "It's just a scratch, no big deal." He couldn't help but wonder for a moment, how could one girl be so unbelievably fragile? The more he that he went on talking, he realized, the worse she just seemed to be getting. Like how now she was - oh, shit - Even if lasted only about few seconds, that was plenty of time to accidentally falling into a bunch of broken glass. Yeah, if she hated just the small cut on her finger, then letting that happen probably wouldn't be a good idea. Nate felt like he had to help steady her out, and so he did, grabbing unto her other shoulder gently. "Great." He grinned, not exactly having seen her giggle before, huh. "Don't worry about it. We broke up." Nate told her, laughing a little lightly out of nowhere, just now concerned with the unnatural blush on her face. "You alright?"
He resisted the urge to look Melody's way. Oh, btw. Fawk you, girl. ;w; /shot

She would have honestly figured it wouldn't have been that easy, especially with him. Irene held back a roll of her eyes, "Right. What was I thinking?" she muttered. The young woman had nearly pushed him backwards with the force of her hand, if he hadn't stepped back himself, so she crossed her arms instead. "Oh, dear Lord..." Irene whispered under her breath, doing somewhat of a gentle facepalm and looking the other way. "If we don't want it too be a cool 90 degrees during the dance, we need to open those windows." She pointed upwards to large pieces of stain glass in the walls. One would need more than a ladder just to reach them, for srs. "Open them."

Valentin lightly jogged down the stairs and walked up to Irene and asked politely "Is there anything I can do?" trying his best with English
