Dancing...

Jackson opened the door of the studio and smelled the wood floor. He stepped in and sat on a bench and took in the surroundings, mirrors on all of the walls, stereo in the corner, piano on the right side, and a dance floor in the middle. Jackson slowly got up and walked over to the stereo and turned it on and piano music started playing. He turned it up where that was the only sound in the room, he hummed and started slowly waltzing almost expertly.

She honestly hadn't expected another soul to be here. I mean, sometimes she saw someone in here playing their instruments, like her sister's boyfriend, or on rare occasions she found Kobe on his drums, Other than that, though, it was almost always just her. Someone waltzing alone, as funny as it looked to her, was the last thing she expected.

"Freaky hair guy...?" She closed the door behind her, walking in and setting her bag down on the wooden floor, wondering if he had even heard her over the loud classical music.

Jackson stumbled and fell on his arse when he heard Harmony come in (ooc: Smooth jack....) "Oh...uh...yeah, that's me, freaky hair guy" he said slowly getting up and turning the music so she could hear him and he could hear her.

The girl frown and crossed her arms, though unable to help but laugh a little as he fell, she still couldn't help but yry and keep a stubborn wall up. You see, Harmony was raised her entire life watching her sister get shunned and ridiculed for having a power. She was always taught that gifteds were more just freaks of nature, and while she was slowly adjusting to this whole other world Beata was showing her, she stilll tended to try and turn a blind eye away frm people's powers. So, when she walked right in on Jackson using his, it left an uncomfortable first impression, to say the least.
"I didn't know you danced..." she said a little awkwardly, wondering if she should help him up, but not moving.

"Oh, well..." Harmony felt her face blush up a little when she realized his gaze was caught on her, so she looked in the tall mirrors instead, pretending to passively inspect her outfit. "Were you going to stay here too long or should I come back another time or...?" She let her voice trail off.

"Y-you don't have to leave" he said quickly before he could stop himself

The girl froze for a few minutes, strangely for once caught in the awkward position. 'Yeah, but I don't really want to be near you. >3> Weirdo. A cute weirdo, but still just... meh...' She stood and stayed in her place for a few moments longer before quickly perking up and picking up her bag. "Okay, so are you going to go then, or what...?" She asked and walked past him to the other side of the room.

Jackson said "I'm probaly going to stay"

Harmony huffed and tossed her bag back against the wall, "If you say so..." Well, drat. The girl sat down and started warming up instead. Maybe she could forget he was there...

Jack sat down on the other side of the bench and said "I'm Jackson"

Harmony let out a deep sigh, hearing him talk to her again, but disguised it as simply her breathing deeply as she stretched out. One leg was out as she bent over and grabbed the heel of her foot with her hands, staying perfectly straight all the while. "Harmony." She looked up and gave him a sweet, polite smile for a moment, though still not moving from her position. Wait - he had heard her name before, hadn't he?

"Nice to meet you" he said smiling sweetly

"Right..." Harmony almost had to force herself to keep the smile on, but you could tell she still felt rather uncomfortable as she switched legs, avoiding his gaze.

Noticing Harmony's kind of pained smile he asked "Do you not like people in here when you are?"

Harmony sat up and blinked at him, smiling a little more naturally now. "No, I love it, it's just... I don't know if I like you." She said rather bluntly.

"Yeah, I understand" he said looking at the instruments and wondering if he should try a trumpet

"Oh, you do?" Harmony stood back up finished stretching, tying her hair back, she watched him a littke curiously. 'He plays too?'

"Mm..." Harmony frowned again, not sure she was getting her point. "Just - don't use your power-stupid-thingy-ma-jiggy around me and we'll be good." She put her hands on her hips a little challengingly, since other people who had been told this didn't take it so well.

Jackson chuckled "I'm good with that" and then he asked "What type of dancing do you do?"

"Well," Harmony started to slowly fall into her usually, chatty self again. "I've taken ballet classes my whole life, and I can waltz and stuff like you were doing, but mostly I like dance to the new songs that come out and stuff. Whatever I'm in the mood for - you know?" She put one hand out, as if to help her explain.

"Yeah" he said "I mostly waltz, I took lots of classes"

"So... You know how to lead, then?" she asked, sounding a bit hopeful.

"Yeah" he said
