Harmony swung open the door and walked into the lounge, surprised that there was no one in here. "Hello?" She called out in wonder, turning back to look at Jackson, then around the room again.

Jackosn peeked in over her shoulder and said "Yes! There's a fireplace!" he pushed the door open more and held it for Harmony

The young woman finally found it, following his gaze, and smiled. "Sweet! Can you go light it?" She asked, walking inside with a small "thank you".

He nodded and followed her in and jogged over to the fireplace and threw some paper and wood in and grabbed two rocks. He smashed them across each other, sparks flew out and the fire slowly flourished.

Harmony grinned, running forward and sticking her hands in front of the fire, sitting down on her knees. "That was awesome! How'd you learn to do that?"

Jackson smiled and leaned back and put his hands in front of the fire "I went camping with my dad a couple times, he taught me" he said poking the fire with one of those stabby fire thingys.

Harmony looked rather impressed. She would have just looked for a lihhter and some matched. "Do, cool." she muttered, "Can you teach me how to do that?"

"Yeah! Just show what you can do right now? So I can see what I need to help you with." he said handing her the rocks with a smile.

"Okay..." Harmony blinked and took the small rocks from him, staring down at them. Jeez. Just when you thought this school couldn't get any more ghetto. Did they have a problem with matches too or something? "Well, I have no idea how..." The blonde frowned and tried striking the rocks together, but to no avail.

Jackson chuckled "You really haven't done this before have you?" he smiled and took the rocks and put one above the other and said "I'll do it slowly a couple times to show you." He slowly mimicked what he did to start the fire.

Harmony stared a bit confused, then shook her head, laughing lightly. "I'm not sure that helps much."

"OK, umm..." he said trying to explain "You grab the rocks and scrap and smash them together as fast and hard as you can..." then he chuckled "I'm not that good at explaining things"

"No kidding." Harmony muttered, frowning as she softly grinded the rocks together. Thst wasna't working... So, she tried striking one against the other. Still no. Again... One... Two... "Eep!" The blonde made a pathetic little sound as sparks suddenly flew everywhere, tossing the rocks wuickly away from her and at Jackson.

Jackson watched intently and smiled when sparks flew around "Goo-oof..." he was cut short as he was hit in the stomach and ear with the starter rocks. "Did that scare yoou?" he asked sarcastically rubbing his ear.

Harmony wasn't sure what to say and hung her head low, to hide the look of embarrassment on her face. "Maybe just a little." she muttered, having looked away, she didn't notice that he had gotten hurt in the process of her freaking out.

"You got quite a throw" he chuckled and picked the rocks up and put them back by the fireplace. He rubbed his ear again and looked at her embarrased face with a smile.

"Thanks...?" Harm muttered uncertainly, before it finally clicked in her head what she had done, oh sh - Don't laugh, girl. "Did I hurt you?"

"You just scraped my ear, it's fine" he said pulling his hand fro his ear to show it wasn't bleeding "It just stung a little"

Sorryyy. Something I did somehow just made my muse roll-over and die. ;w;

"Oh, sorryyyyyyy." Harmony shook her head and raised her hand, gently grazing her hand against the small injury. "I ll have to make it up to you.; she said firmly.

Jackson shrugged and said "Na, you don't, it's just a scratch..." staring straight into her green eyes. Ill stare into your soooouuuull!!!!!"But how would you pay me back?" he asked his face under her hand growing red with warmth.

The young woman blinked, drawing her hand back, tilting her head in clueless curiosity. "I dunno. What would you want?"

"I...uh...don't know" he admitted breaking eye contact to look down, his eyes glowing, reflecting the fire. He really didn't know, but this girl was pretty, and cute...

She didn't believe him, though, a sly smile growing on her face. "Liar." she near sang, "What are you thinking?"

Andrew quickly looked back up and her and laughed "Nothing!" he chimed happily, but defensively. "Just thinking about...my history class" he lied.

Harmony clearly didn't believe him, giving him a lame look, a small smile on her face. "Your history class?" She repeated blandly, crossing her arms. Come clean, Jackson.
