Danielle sat by the track field, staring at the lines that ran across it. she hadn't talked it anyone yet, and highly doubted she would soon.

Zex walked into the gym and saw Danielle. "Oh hey there."

Danielle jumped and turned to look at him. "Oh... Hi.." she said softly.

On bleachers in the back, Mark casually was reading a book, turning pages silently. The benches around him were accumulating a small amount of frost, but nothing too much.

OOC: Lol Zex be back, maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan

"Hmmm..I haven't seen you around. What's your gift?" asked Zex.

"I control shadows." Danielle said, simply. "What's yours?" Danielle glanced around while talking to the boy. she noticed another one sitting on bleachers nearby.

Saurin walked in mumbling. "Gotta go work out he said, it'll make you feel good and help with your condition he said." He noticed Zex talking to someone he had never seen before, so he decided to approach them. "Hey Zex, who's your friend over here? " He turned to look at her, "Nice to meet you."

"Nice to meet you too.." Danielle whispered, finally standing up. sitting down around all these people made her feel small, and when she got like that, she got violent.

Zex looked over at Saurin, then turn back to Danielle. "Actually, what is your name, anyways? My gift is telekinesis, by the way."

"Danielle." she told them in the same voice. "But I go by Danni."

Mark flipped another page, glancing at the track dwellers. He sighed, looking back at his book.

"Uh.." Danielle said, trying to come up with some type of conversation, "Could you two show me around?"

"Sure, let me go get something from my dorm real fast," Zex said as he ran in the direction of the dorms.

"I honestly wouldn't know my way around, I never walk the hallways much." He looked at the runners briefly than look back to them. "I just teleport around."

Danielle nodded slightly, watching the boy run away. "What's his story?" she asked saurin, nodding to Zex running away.

OOC: Oh so there's frost on the benches, eh? c:<

IC: Lazy Melody didn't want to work out because she was, in fact, extremely lazy. Her ponytail bounced behind her as she wasted time by the field overly stretching. Oh look, people! Maybe I should talk to them and all, make some friends. She thought, adding on to her procrastination. Mel climbed up the steps and looked for someone to annoy- errm... talk to. She spotted a boy closer to the top row, all alone reading.

OOC: lolwut

Saurin simply shrugged. "I would love to know myself." He said looking in the direction Zex ran off into.

Danielle sighed softly. "There's nothing here to do, even with people around." she growled. "Ya know.." she said to the boy, "You never told me your name."

The boy flipped another page. He was unaware of Melody, who was approaching. He studied the book with tired looking eyes.

"Ah yes where are my manners." He turned his head, back to Danielle. "My name is Saurin, but call me Kip."

"Kip?" Danielle questioned, a smile playing on her lips, "Why such an unusual nickname."

Melody then ventured up the steps to Mark, to where she stood beside him on the bleachers. Shoving fallen pieces of hair from her face, she smiled. "Helllo." She greeted in a sing-songy voice. She suddenly felt like that one, friendly freak that everyone avoided, but who couldn't take the hint in grade school.

Mark looked up, frightened. The air around him got a little colder. "Hi." he answered silently . "You scared me."

Melody frowned, rubbing her arm to rid it of goosebumps. "Sorry, I didn't mean to. I'm just trying to procrastinate actually work, and you seemed alone. I'm Melody." She introduced herself, reaching out her hand with a friendly smile.

Mark reached out his hand as well, shaking hers. "I'm Mark." he said with a smile.
