Nathaniel walked out of the locker room, a towel hanging around his neck and down his chest, his hands with a grip on both sides of the drapes. He was in swimming trunks, staring out at the indoor pool. "Well, this 'outta be fun." He closed his eyes and smiled, thought paused when he heard the sound from the door behind him. "Oh?" he muttered and fought the urge to look behind him. Nate thought he would be alone, but no big deal.

Desken had the same thought, and was disappoint to see a student walking in the same direction as him, in the same attire. Damnit. He never particularly spent time with the students, but he figured that this guys seemed cool, and a little time with him wouldn't hurt Desken. They probably wouldn't even talk. The grayish haired boy wondered if he would be recognized; since he was a guardian, and all.

The young man turned around, smiling and brushing back his russet hair. Lucky for Desken, Nathan was in a strangely talkable mood. "Oh, hey. I'm sorry. You should've walked in a few minutes earlier." He said cooly, not wanting them to glare at each other the entire time (people seriously do. x3). "You don't mind sharing, do you?"

Rose walked out of the changing rooms with her towel in her hand "oh hey guys" she said sorta surprised to see two cute guys in the pool area.

"Nah, it's no big deal. I don't mind." He said simply, shaking the hair out of his eyes. He walked over to the pool and sat at the edge. "So what's your power?" He asked, curious to how it would help the Headmaster. Desken asked this question a lot- not out of pure curiousity like others, but a more 'how will it help me?' kind.
He turned to the girl and smiled. "Oh hey. I haven't seen you around." He replied.

"im rose" she said setting her towel on a chair to show a blue and white bikini. "I haven't seen you around either I must say" she said lifting her eyebrow in curiosity

The young man shrugged, walking forward and standing a few feet away from the Guardian. "I think they called it 'Empathy'." Don't get it wrong, he loved his gift - ... It just wasn't as useful as, say, shooting acid from his finger tips or singing a small tune and knocking half the room out. "The name is Nathaniel." He said in a light and friendly tone.
When Rose walked into the room, Nate instantly took up straighter, a sweet smile growing on his face. "Oh, hey. Didn't expect to see you here." He said. He ran into her a lot, actually. "Wow..." He was a little taken, let's just say... He had never seen the athletic rose in a swim-suit before. Nate couldn't help it a little.

"oh hey Nate" she said "hows it goin?" she asked him with a sweet smile seeing his swimming suit she had like him never seen him in a swim suit either and was sorta stunned.

Desken laughed at Rose's comment. "No, I doubt you have." He glanced between Nate and Rose before smiling. "Watch it honey, I think someone has got the hots for you." He whispered covertly with a wink, before diving into the pool.
Empathy could help; Desken didn't think that the Headmaster had that power. If he could manipulate emotions and read them, plus his other powers, he'd be unstoppable.
Then he rose from the water and laid on his back, like an adorable sea otter. Looking up, he rolled his eyes. I give them five seconds before they start sucking face.

OOC: Desken and Nate are a lot alike, actually. xD

rose looked over at desken as he dived in the pool her moment of omg hidden from her. "so lets swim" she said running over to the deeper side and doing a canon ball in.

Nathaniel quickly flicked his gaze the other way. "Well, who honestly couldn't help but be entranced by such beauty as that?" He said, trying his best to hide his own embarrassment. He held his had out and waved it, as if it were no big deal.
He, by now them, was the fish out of water and had done with Desken's smug emotions. Nathan took a few steps back for a running start and did a dive in the center of the pool, though didn't stop at that, swimming underwater and continuing at the surface until he reached the other end of the pool. Nate finally rose from the water, turning around and smiling at the other two.

Laughing again, Desken nodded. "You are very pretty, Miss Rose. I can see why he's swoon for you." He complimented, swimming to the side of the pool and lifting himself up. He noticed Nathaniel's extra effort to show off, and he sneered, before clapping. " Amazing, Mr. Phelps." He said in a sarcastic tone, before turning his attention to Rose. "So, Rose, what is your power?" Desken asked.

OOC: *LMFAO starts playing*

Nathan sniffed, a smirk on his face. Mr. Phelps? "I'll take that as a compliment." The dove back into the water, swimming closer to the two of them, "Thanks." He floated in the water and curiously looked at Rose. They had ran into each other quite a few times, but now that he thought about it, he didn't even know her own power.

"As you should." Desken replied with a sharp nod, suddenly serious as he waited for Rose to answer.

rose came up out of the water just in time to get the splash from Nates cannon ball. she watched him as she swam to the side beside Desken "thanks" she said blushing slightly "oh I can see the future when it comes to me" she said shrugging it off "somethings I see some I dont" like this she hadn't and was feeling aquward being the only girl in the pool with two hot guys.

"You can see the future?" Nate repeated in a little amazement, "Damn, that's pretty cool. So, do you see us together any time soon? ;D *shot* He breathed, a smile on his face. Okay, maybe he really did say the striked words. X3 I'll leave that up to you.

OOC: Desken did. ;D

IC: Yes, that could definitely help the Headmaster. He thought, grinning inwardly. Then he raised his eyes at Nate in amusement. Aw, kids and their silly pick up lines. He thought, totally ignoring the fact that he was only a year older.
This was getting boring.
"That's awesome, Rose. It must be really useful." He told her kindly.

OOC: I'm about to make Desken start like, floating or something. XD

ic:rose nodded and simply dove under water and coming up a few feet away floated up on her back and with her legs started splashing them.

Nathaniel sniffed, catching the weirdest vibe of pleasure or excitement (he couldn't exactly place the feeling). He glanced over at Desken, and seeing the strange smile on his face only made it worse. "What the hell are you fantasizing about?" He asked cooly.

"I don't know what you are talking about. You most have mixed up fantasizing with mere amusement." He said, dodging the question with a roll of his eyes. Empathy, right. He had to control his emotions better. For some strange reason, Desken felt violated, like he couldn't think anything without it being heard and judged.

rose laughed as she listened to the two "oh calm down, its not like were trying to compete now are we?" she asked

Nate would have said something snarky back, but he grinned and took pleasure in Desken's obvious discomfort in his feelings being read. "I'm just saying, be more careful watching yourself." He said, turning in the water to look at Rose. "Compete? Nah... Unless it's a competition for your love, in that case, sign me up. *shotcheezyness* Hey, what is your power anyway, dude?" He asked Desken.

Desken grinned crookedly. "I'm not competing at all, actually. And I'm surprised you haven't asked sooner." He retorted. "I'm aerokinetic- you know, able to manipulate wind and what not?" If they hadn't figured it out yet, then Desken assumed that the students would figure out he was a guardian. New kids... Pssh.

"oh sweet" rose said swimming back over to the edge of the pool beside Nate accidentally brushing his arm with hers.

Nathaniel rubbed the back of his head. Aerokinetic, why did that sound eerily familiar? He paused his thoughts, interrupted by the light brush of Rose's body against his own. It was an accident, that was clear, but still he felt a little embarrassed none-the-less. Nate quickly took in a deep breathe and pushed all the emotions away that brought a strange heat to his face and put on a small smile.
He put his shoulder on Rose, gently turning her attention to him. He looked into her eyes, easily windows to the person's soul and the best place for him to target. He stood there for a moment, simply concentrating on the young woman, until he the smile on his face suddenly grew a tad wider.

"You know, I'm so glad we ran into each other today." Nathan said softly, moving his hand from her shoulder and tracing it lightly across her skin, up her neck and cupping her face. With his thumb, he lightly brushed away a few wet, stray strands of blonde away.
As he did so, he was, in fact, manipulating her emotions with every passing moment; He was forcing her to feel so very flattered, to have a feeling of longing, and even he sent in a strong desire of lust.
With his other hand he brought Rose in closer, wrapping his arm around her and leaning in a little closer. "Every time we seem to meet, there's always something that happens and our time together is cut short..." Nate reasoned and went over it in his mind. It was true, like when they met at the park, Melody's song knocked them both out cold. When he met up with her at the stadium, Eric had come along and challenged her, and he was essentially left out. And this time, that guy was here... though they'd never met, he'd seemed familiar.

He'd seen him before.
With the Headmaster.
By the other Guardians.
And Aerokenesis was...

All of Nathaniel's concentration was instantly shattered. Not only that, but it back-fired at him. All the feelings he had sent Rose would disappear and in it's place sudden, harsh fear and shock would blow Nate away. Literally.
'Oh, SHIT!' He screamed in his head as he threw himself away from Rose, falling back into the water.
All he could think about was the stupid things he had said and done around this guy - His experience with Guardian's before, being pinned painfully to the ground by Irene.
When Nate rose back to the surface, he was seriously struggling to regain his composure. "You're- You're Desken... The air guardian..." He said quite awkwardly.
