Ohai thar Dorm 7.

Chrysler glanced around the dorm before walking in. All the other dorms had been full, so she guessed this is where she would stay. "Hello?" she called out, not seeing anyone.

ic: Happy stayed silent, and didn't look up. He twiddled his thumbs boredly. Suddenly, a movement caught his eye. He stared unblinkingly at the girl who approached. "Hi," he said weakly before looking away shyly. He didn't really like new people that much. Happy had hoped that he'd gotten the dorm to himself. Wouldn't that be nice? he thought silently.

"Hey." Chrysler said. "I'm Chrysler, and you are..?" she said.

Happy awkwardly looked at her. "Umm... I'm... Happy," he introduced. His voice was barely audible as he spoke. He asked, even though the answer was obviously right underneath his nose, "s- so, you're in dorm 7, too?"

Jacob walked into the dorm with a scabbard and a sword in it "Hi everyone, what you guys been doing? I've been working on my sword skills"

Happy looked up at him. "Nothing, really..." he breathed. Staring at him, he glanced around awkwardly. "I've been working on not suddenly transforming into a rabbit every second..." he mumbled. Happy brought his arm over his eyes to rub the sleep from his eyes. He had almost fallen asleep earlier.

Jacob laughed "What do you look like when you transform into a rabbit?"

Happy looked away timidly, rubbing the back of his neck. "Uhhh... I guess I look just like a normal black bunny, I s'pose..." he said softly, recalling the last time he had turned into an animal. "It's usually when my emotions spike up randomly. Sometimes, it just happens... just like puberty xD loljk"

"Hm...thats cool dude, what do you guys want to do?" he asked

Gee, it's pretty darn super, he mocked silently. "Is there even anything to do?" he wondered, looking around. Maybe if I give them something to do, they'll go away and I can be alone and in peace... That thought made him sit up and think.

"True..." he sighed

"I love rabbits! They're so cute and fluffy! At my house I had a bunch." Chrysler said happily.

Happy scrunched up his nose in disgust. "But I'm not cute, nor am I fluffy," he muttered glumly. He recalled the last time he had transformed, the small black bunny plopped on he ground, a tall floppy ear dangling above his face. "But just wait, he whispered to no one in particular, "bunnies will be a thing of the past, and I'll be able to become a big tiger or something. Maybe even a griffin or a dragon."

Or are you? Chrysler thought, resisting the urge to say her smart-allick reply. "Dragons would be helpful for training." she said instead.

Happy gave a small, blunt nod and shifted uneasily; shyly. "Um... Yeah, I guess so. But I really need to control my power. Or else I'll only be a person less than half of the time," he mumbled. "So, uh... If you don't mind me asking, what's your... um... power...?" he asked gingerly, swaying his feet gently.

"Superhuman senses." she said with s shrug. "Nothing to great."

Happy gave a small nod, and thought about the power for a moment. I mean, it's not like anything interested him. Or, maybe he just wasn't paying attention. "That's a good gift," he admitted. "I mean, you could hear someone breathing from like a mile away or something (weeeeird...)," he mused, watching her with his cloudy eye. "If you couldn't tell already, my power is shape-shifting, but, truthfully, I'm pretty worthless with it. At least for now. My sister is much stronger than I. She doesn't morph into a bunny every second someone frightens her or upsets her..." he explained, his voice getting lower with each word he uttered.

"Better then mine." she said with a shrug. "So...You are blind in one eye?"

Happy's face flushed up. "O- Oh, you saw that?" he sighed, shifting his bangs over to the other side of his face to cover the useless eye. "It's not much of a bother, though. Like it's not even there," he said. That's because it's not...

"Who's your sister?" Chrysler asked.

Happy looked at her sideways. "Sarah... Sarah is my sister," he stated, happy with the thought of sharing a dorm with his sister. Too bad he didn't get to. "She is always... Um... There for me..." It was a lie, but he smiled on the inside when he imagined her and him back at home as he watched her out the only window in his room. He always loved watching her play outside while he stayed upstairs, contained in the dark. Oh, how he missed the peace and quiet.
