hooray for food!

Violet chose a salad, apple, and some orange juice for lunch. She stood awkwardly, looking for a place to sit.

Aravis chose a burger, apple, and mango for lunch, noot knowing she left out a drink. She sat down at the table closest to her, and broke into the apple.

Violet noticed Aravis sitting at a near by table. She tentatively walked over to her. "M-may I sit with you?" she asked shyly keeping her eyes on her tray of food.

Aravis found a way around being shy. Not looking at her 'attacker'." Sure she said half done with the apple.

Lilac noticed someone-- no, two someones! --sat near her; just across. She looked up and grinned. "'Ello!" she said to both girls, giving a sweet smile. "My name's Lilac!" she said, feet kicking back and forth. She had an apple, milk, and a burger (cuz I'm really creative xD).

Aravis still didn't look up" Hi." she said quikly. She had finished her apple, and was now tearing at her burger.

"Oh, um," Violet said, a little startled by Lilac's sudden arrival. "H-hi. I'm Violet," she murmured, looking in the opposite direction Lilac was standing.

ic: Lilac bit into her apple, too. Hearing Violet's response, she looked over. "Hiya, Violet," she replied, keeping her smile. "My gosh, I'm glad you guys are sittin' with me. Nobody ever sits with me," she laughed. Maybe it was because she was new to this place..... or maybe it was because she was just really.... e.e

Aravis had started her mango now. " Why is that?" she asked after she ate the mango.

"Oh," Violet replied, poking her salad with her fork. "Are you new?" she asked softly, still not looking up.

"I 'unno! Maybe you should ask the people who pass by," she laughed. Facing Violet, she responded, "yeah, I am. Haha. Are you guys new?"

'Uh....ya." she said sinking back into her seat. Now that she had nothing to focus on she was shy again.

"Yeah," Violet replied still looking down.

"Really? Aaaaawwweeesome!" she sang, grateful that she wasn't the only new girl. "That means we can be friends! Cuz we're all new, right? Right?"

"Uh.........sure," replied Aravis.

"You want to be friends?" Violet asked, looking up from her food for the first time.

Lilac took a quick bite from her apple. Immediately after swallowing, she gave a giant nod. "Uh-huh! You guys are really, reaaaalllyyy nice people!" she said. It was weird. They hadn't even said half a paragraph of words and she already become acquainted with them.

Violet took a small bite from her salad. She didn't understand how Lilac cold say Aravis and her were nice when they barely knew each other. At the same time, however, Violet couldn't help but feel happy at Lilac's praise.

Aravis just sank down into her seat as far as she could. She didn't know these people, yet one wanted to be friends?

Violet , stared down at her salad. "So, have you made any other friends here yet?" she asked. It seemed as if Lilac was the type who made friends easily.

Lilac began cheering lightly. Then, she say back down, a bit glumly. "Mmmnnn.... Not really..."

"Oh... So, um, I guess you haven't been here that long," Violet said in her usual quiet voice.

"Nope. I had a lot of friends back where I lived. Though, they never wanted to do what I wanted," she laughed, swinging her feet again.
