The food of the pack

Aravis picked out a salad, apple, and banana. Aravis sat down at a table in the back of the cafeteria.

"Hi Aravis," Violet greeted cheerfully. "May I sit with you?" she asked.

"Um.....sure," she said shrinking down in her seat.

Violet sat down at the seat across from Aravis. She had a salad, apple, and some orange juice on her tray. "So, um, how have you been?" she asked.

"Good, you," she asked in reply.

"I've been fine," Violet replied in her usual quiet voice.

Gabe dlid some doritos, a tuna sandwich, and some gatorade. "Hey girls." he said, itting next to them.

"Oh, hi Gabe," Violet greeted in her usual quiet voice.

"Hey." she said. She looked away from the two too try to pass being shy.

"What's up, Aravis?" he asked, taking a bite of his sandwhich.

"Oh....nothing...you?" she asked in a weak, shaky voice.

Gabe put his sandwich down, looking up at Aravis. "Aravis, I know you better than you think. What's wrong?" he said. "I refuse to leave untill further explanation."

"No," she said. She couldn't help blushing. Did he not know this was from him?

Apparently, Gabe was stupid and didn't know. Hey Aravis, why not explain to him?

"Aravis, don't lie." Gabe said. "I can tell somethings bothering you." Women. Ugh!

Aravis shrunk back in her seat, so he couldn't see her." Um.....it's just....I...like you." she said.

"Um, oops! I forgot a fork," Violet said as she stood up to walk away. She could tell they needed some alone time.
