The final move

Maleia had just got back from the halls about an hour or more ago. It was 12:00, and she couldn't get to sleep. She just had too see James' new picture. She left her room, still in her pajamas. She put her ear up to his door, too make sure he was asleep. She opened the door, and stepped inside. The girl picked up the book slowly. Maleia flipped through the pages to find the last page, when something caught her eye. It was a drawing of some girl. All that went through her mind was Who is this? Then it hit her, That's me! She was confused a litte. Wait, this could be a friend drawing! Lots of others be in paintings. She flipped through more pages, and found more pictures of her. Is, is he- her thought trailed off as she heard something. She quickly set the book down, and made a break for the door, only too be caught.

James woke up as e heard a noise. Seeing maleia trying to run out of his bedroom "maleia?" he asked

Maleia stopped with the door half way closed" uh, ya?" She was sure he would be mad at her if he wer too figure out that she looked at the book.

"what are you doing in here?" he asked crawling out of bed in his pajama pants

"Um...nothin." she said slowly.

"come on its not like I'll be mad or anything" he said walkin over to her looking in his eyes

"Well, i'm sorry. I just couldn't help it." she said in a defeated tone. She couldn't think even for a moment thatshe would do this. Too him of all people.

"what are you sorry about?" he asked softly touching her arm

Maleia looked down at her feet." I...I looked at the book." she said. She knew he would hate her.

"you did?" he asked surprise but have a sigh of relief

Maleia didn't know why he was so relaxed. She just looked in his book, not asking too also." Ya."

"thank goodness" he said "I've been wanting to show you that forever" he said smiling

Maleia looked up at him, with a confused look." What? You're not mad?" she asked.

"oh corse not" he said grabbing her and hugging her like he wanted to in the hall

Maleia just let him hug her. It took her a minute too figure out what had happened. She just hugged him back, still confused.

"so how did you like them?" he asked her eyes in wonder

"They wer..." she couldn't find any words. She always thought his drawings wer good, but these wer just wordless. She was in them, she didn't know how too feel though.

"were what?" he asked getting a little worried

"Good, but I know that there is a better word for it." she said. This was a new look at things for Maleia.

"really you liked them?" he asked his eyes britening

"Ya, not because i'm in them. I always thought you made good drawings." she said. coming out to him was good, but she didn't want too. Mostly because it was the middle of the night, but she didn't care.

"ok" he said pushing a piece of hair from her face

Maleia thought of something at that moment." Why didn't you just show me then?" she asked. Then it hit her. He was disappointed because he wanted her happy. He thought the Honey Combs would help her be happy.

"I thought you would think of me as a stalker" he said looking around feeling silly

Maleia pushed herself away from him, but only too look into his eyes" Never."
