the new girl's final moment

Violet trudged into the infirmary following Gabe, Pine, and Meleia. Her shirt sagged on her shoulders and she had to hold her skirt to keep it from slipping down since she had shrunk so much on the way there.

Pine watched the odd girl who had passed out. "I hope she's okay..." she sighed.

Gale walked in the infirmary and set the girl down. "Wonder what her name is..." he muttered. "Maggie!" he called.

Aravis woke up, her eyes opening slowly. She didn't know where she was, and all through her mind wer questions like: where am I? How did I get here? Are tose people here?

"You 'kay?" Gabe asked when she woke.

Aravis rubbed her eyes" What?"

"You blacked out Ms...?

When she could fully see the man, she blushed a little" Um....Aravis." she replied.

"Gabe." he said, holding his hand out.

Aravis shook his hand, and almost fainted again.

Gabe drew back. "Well, If you're so shy, I guess I'll go. Don't want you to faint agian." he said, rubbing the back of his neck.

Aravis looked down at he feet, she didn't want him to leave, but she didn't want to tell him.

"You'll be fine, right?" he asked.

"Uh...ya" What is it about him?

Gabe pulled a chair near the bed. "And your'e telling me you fainted for no reason?"

"Well....um...no." she said not looking up.

"Why are you shy all the time?" Gabe said.

Aravis didn't answer him, she just stayed silent.

"Aravis, answer me." he said. "Why are you so shy?"

Aravis still couldn't answer him" Well.....uh."

"Aravis, what happened?" he said, staring into her eyes.

She just looked away from him, not being able to look into his eyes.

Gabe grabbed her face in his hands, making her look at him. "What happened?" he repeated.

Aravis slapped him trying to make him let her go.

Gabe still didn't let go. "Aravis, Tell me what happened!" he said agian. "Please!"
