The young woman twiddled around on her bed, near banging her head against the cursed textbook as she tried to solve the problem. Alright, whoever created math needed to go and step on a lego. Seriously. She didn't understand this at all! And really, in a school of so-called "gifted" people, who would need to learn this shiz anyway?
Harmony groaned, giving up and writing some smart-ass answer on her homework paper.

She pushed the book away and sighed. Math was hard. ;___; The blonde's thoughts were interrupted, looking up and seeing someone walk into the room.

Giving a soft sigh, Kobe headed for his dorm; #13. Reaching for the knob, his head rested on the brass doorknob thoughtfully. Oh, how he was glad he could have a bit of time alone. Usually everyone was out at this time, and he didn't really enjoy being bothered by people he didn't know that well. Twisting the knob, he stepped inside, eyes trained on the floor. There was something he'd forgotten about this dorm. It was bad, he knew, but what?

Kobe looked up with hopeful auburn eyes, looking forward to his alone time. When he caught sight of a girl leisuring on a bed next to his. Oh, yeah. Her. He had already stepped into the room, so she'd obviously known he was there. Turning on a heel, he stared forward blankly, and began to head for the door slowly.

She sat up her knees, not expecting anyone to walk in. It was a real shame for him. Today was the one day she'd figured she'd actually stay in and do her homework herself. What luck for him, right~? Harmony started to smile, "Oh, h- huh?" The young woman had stared him down for a few moments before he had spun on his toes and began to walk away. For a moment, she just sat there confused.

Now, where did he think he was going? Oh, no. She hated this homework, and with his arrival, it gave her the means for a perfect distraction~. She jumped up on her feet, launching herself off the end of the bed to give her more time to catch up. "KOH-BEEEEEEEEE!" Harmony near squealed, practically glomping him from behind.

When Kobe heard a surprised murmur from Harmony, his blood ran cold. Go, go, go, go! he told himself hurriedly, beginning to leave the room. And right when she emitted an excited cry of his name, Kobe's footsteps quickened. Maybe he'd actually made it out the door before she could reach him! His hand touched the door. Yes! Yes! Freedom at la--

His feet gave way from underneath him as he felt something crash into his back. Kobe tumbled to the floor beneath him, giving a large grunt of surprise. Sprawled on the ground, it took him a long moment to process what the HELL just happened. Harmony had tackled him down. His world was spinning for a few more seconds. "O- Oh, hey Harmony. xAx I didn't... see you there, Kobe groaned, staring at the hallway laying just beyond his fingertips. So... close... His hand fell weakly as he reached for the hallways.

Harmony had hardly realized what she was doing exactly until he began to make a fall straight for the floor. The girl grabbed his shoulders and squealed as they hit the floor, loosing a lot of her air. Thaaaaankfullly~ She was small and Kobe would cushion her fall, though she still flew forward a little bit, near bumping her head into the window.

She ended up with her stomach on his back, chest on the back of his head. That's right, people. Chest was moving up in the world... ;D "Where are you going? We haven't talked in forever~." If by forever, you mean since that morning. Or perhaps she meant a real conversation. He was always kinda quick to come and go, she noticed. "Kobe?" The young woman noticed him reach desperately for the door. With a small frown on her face, she leaned over, smacking his hand with hers lightly, as if to tell him to stop it. "No."

And it felt weird on the other end, what with her boobs pushing his face into the ground. It was extremely awkward for him. Especially since he'd never felt a girl's breasts on the back of his head. As a matter of fact, he'd never felt a girl's breasts at all.

Anyways... Kobe was still a little dazed, nose smashed into the ground. Slowly, he picked up his head gingerly, eyebrow twitching with irritation. "I was just going to gauge out my eyes..." he replied bitterly underneath his breath. They haven't talked in forever? What about the last time she was on his back? They had... talked a bit. His hand was reaching out to the door, as if asking for it to pull him away and free him. But instead, it was smacked by a hand, and he pulled it back, giving a small whimper. Kobe tried to get up, but he was afraid that if he did, she would just end up tackling him down again. He stuck out his lower lip stubbornly, frowning. "So, ah... what are you... doing?" he asked slowly.

The blonde couldn't help but let out a small laugh at his harsh remark, taking no clue as to what he really meant of it. "You're so funny~." she told him, her chest rumbling as she settled down from her small bout of giggles. Now, it probably didn't seem that long for Kobe, or most other person as a matter of fact, but it seemed near like an eternity to her! And he still had a lot to learn, by the way. >:C She wasn't done with her teachings, yet... On how too dance, of course.

Harmony nodded her approval as he drew back and sat up for a moment, "Oh, well, I was doing my homework before you walked in..." The young woman placed her finger on her lips, as if going over the previous matter very thoughtfully. A smile then appeared on her face once again. "But since you're here, you can keep me company instead." Seemingly having no problem in the position they were in, Rae laid back down, resting her arms and her head on his back; like he was one giant cushion. "I wanted to talk with you about something, too..." She said quietly.

Funny? No one had ever thought of this sarcastic guy to ever be funny. And usually his sarcasm would be along the lines of insulting than funny. And he was trying not to dote too much on that matter. There was much bigger things to think about. Like how they were just laying in the doorway like it was cool.

And homework? He didn't even want to get caught in that jumble of stuff. Kobe hoped she didn't expect him to help her with it. Kobe himself could barely finish his own homework when it was assigned to him. And if he was forced to do her homework, he hoped it wasn't math.

Kobe gave a small groan at her mention of "company". He laughed silently at that. Look, another thing to make sarcastic remarks about. Hah, no. e3e I'm lazy to start talking about how Kobe thought how bad of an idea that was.

Yeah, just get comfortable, he thought jokingly as she shifted about on his back. Because Kobe totally thought it was necessary not to get up and sit on the bed or something. Nope. The floor was definitely the best place to talk.

He blinked oddly when her tone fell to a more quieter volume. His sarcastic aura dissolved, and he set his chin down on the ground, deciding to get comfortable, then. He knew that there'd be no way up, so if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. "Ah, about what?" he asked calmly. Well, trying to maintain his calmness.

Well, no matter what it was that Kobe had thought, she seemed extremely joyful at the prospect of having someone to stay and chat with... at the very least. This was one of the things that disappointed her most about Beata. When she had come to this school, she had left everything behind. Her school, her family, all of her friends; and there was no way to get back in touch with him, all because of the headmaster's stupid rules. And well, there was Melody too, but she hardly ever spent time with her. Always with these two other guys. When she did get the time of day, it was always spent on singing lessons, working with their powers. It left her pretty alone.

Now, don't get me wrong, there was that awesome Lilac girl that she had met not too long ago, and there were other people here and there that Harmony kinda-sorta remembered the names of, but... So far, really, Kobe was the the only person she really considered a friend. Maybe it was because he put up with her (granted, not with the most pleasant attitude, but still.) or how he let her ride his back. I don't know. She just liked him, kay? Kay.

Her smile grew a little as she felt him relax from underneath her. "Wellllll," she breathed, drawing the word out. This subject was also kinda a downer, since she wouldn't exactly be able to throw a party over it like they normally did every year. Once she couldn't get one word about it out of Mel, who was normally rather dull around this time. Harmony's voice brightened up a little, "My birthday is in a few days. I figured I should inform you early so you could get me something." The words were chimed out now as she started fiddling with a stray string on the collar of his uniform.

Kobe labeled everyone he came in contact with as a bother, and, in Harmony's case, she was some sort of "a super bother". It was probably an insult to the girl, but he'd never said anything about it. He'd always show his disgust and irritation by his actions and sarcastic words. Though, maybe it wasn't an insult. Maybe Kobe was showing it in a sign of an unknown affection that he himself did not know about. Kobe's lack of experience around people had led him to believe that sarcasm was the way to show his inner feelings. So when he made the numerous amount of remarks, he was just expressing himself in a... rude kind of way.

The long expand of the word "well" made him feel pretty uneasy. He was a little afraid of what it was. It could be a number of things, he knew, which is what scared him. A long time passed, which made his stomach churn with uncertainty. Just spit it out, Harmony! But when she finally explained that her birthday was approaching, his eyes seemed to stare off into space.

Snapping back to reality, Kobe thought about it. Get her something? Everyone was actually supposed to get gifts? Opening his mouth to protest, Kobe stopped abruptly. Don't say anything. Just nod. First of all, how in the hell was he supposed to get her anything? He knew that his little sister had accidentally packed a stuffed animal into his bag of luggage, but he was not going to give that away. Ever. That was the last bit of home he had left. "Ah, I'll keep that in mind, I guess," he said half-heartedly. "You sound like you really love birthdays. What do you like?" Kobe rolled his eyes. Probably "My Little Pony" or some shit that he wouldn't even dare to look at. Why should I even get her anything? he thought coldly, narrowing his eyes at the ground. He suddenly felt a little stricken by that thought. Shame on him for thinking that! Why should he give her a bad birthday just because he never got one? He made a silent vow.

Kobe would try to make this birthday her best one yet.

It wasn't that Harmony had grown up being particularly lonely. In fact, if you took a couple of looks throughout the life that she had once had, you'd quickly figure out it was quite the opposite... For the most part.

Back at home where she used to live, somewhere in the eastern part of Texas (Ask Potato where exactly. cx), she was actually rather popular. Both of her parents were, for the most part, very outgoing people. Her father held a decent, steady job and her mother was a well known-singer around the area. In return, they always kept little Harmony occupied, showing her off proudly; happy they had a daughter just as 'out-there' as they were.
This girl growing up loved to do do many things; sing in school talents shows and being part of the choir, Performing in many different competitions and earning many different titles; and then on Sunday mornings she would be able to go to church, sing for her youth group, as well as at the end of service in praise to the Lord who had given her such a magnificent gift.
She held no objections to going up on the stage and performing for her peers. It was, essentially, what she was born to do. With the voice of an angel, she took bliss in sweeping the crowd off their feet, having every last person remember her name. To say the least, back in her town, she was a very popular girl. And you can be damn well sure that she took full advantage of it. There was never, ever the problem of trying to find someone to sit by during lunch, not like there was here. She never had to run around to find someone to keep her company, not have to glomp them and demand chack action to keep herself happy. (Although glomping was fun to do period, didn't mean it had to be necessary.) Oh, no. All she had to do was keep her attitude in check and her spirits upright, then practically let her social life carry itself.
Honestly, It were people like Kobe that would be one of the few that the blonde would ever even bothered to notice. While he would keep to himself in his garage for most of the time, she'd be laughing with her friends and going to the mall, talking about their crushes and how amazingly hot Taylor Lautner was. Over abuse her facebook. Things that would mostly likely make guys like him bang their head into the nearest wall.

Quietly reminiscing while still laying on top of him, Harmony nodded her head gently as an answer to his first question, seemingly satisfied that he was agreeing to her request so easily. "Mhm." Oh, how'd she miss her chance at yet another amazing party, since it was pretty near close to impossible to have anything close to what she normally had in mind at a place such as this. If he really wanted to make this her best birthday yet, he had better have something pretty damn spectacular in mind, because her day was almost always nothing short of extravagant.

Harmony, with no doubt being an extremely spoiled and materialistic girl, would always have high expectations for what her day would hold. In the younger years, it started out just in the backyard with an amazingly tasteful cake and a pinata, but over the years they grew and grew. Her parties started to be held at the park, where they'd be space for tons of people and a bounce-house where she could play to her hearts content. Up to places like John's Incredible Pizzas. Recently to larger and more amusing venues, renting out near the entire places, even if they couldn't exactly afford it. She'd invite her vast amount of friends, who would invite their friends, who would invite their friend's friends... All coming just for her. To some, this vast propriety would probably disgust some... Like her sister, and certainly others who really know her would as well, and think the same of Rae. Still, nothing was too good for the little princess of the family.

Yup. If she ever shared any of that with Kobe, though, he'd probably just shove her off his back and walk away, she could just tell. Really, that was the last thing that she wanted, so she dare not bring any of it up.

As amazing as it all was, still she couldn't help but have the downsides constantly lingering at the back of her mind. As in, were all these people that were showing up really here for her - were they all really her friends, or were they just taking advantage of what she was throwing for herself? With the popularity, there was also that question of who her best friends actually here. There were plenty of favorites that she loved to hang out with, but mostly she found that no matter which corner she turned, there nothing but drama laying around the corner. It near drove her crazy. She didn't have anyone close to console in, so she'd turn to a small group of others and forget about the rest. There were many situations her beloved mother would never understand, and many her sister would probably never bothered with. Harmony hardly ever tried. But - at the end of the day, who cared? Her life was awesome...

But not anymore. That was all gone now, and what was she left with? The school here was so completely different and cut off, what had she left? She had her sister, a few things from home, a few names to remember, a completely nonexistent reputation, and a boy that she slept next too that she had used as her valet once. Harmony shook the thoughts away. To her, they weren't very pleasant ones.

"Hmmm..." The young woman sounded thoughtful for a little bit, gently kicking her legs in the air, a little awkwardly albeit. She ended up shrugging, "I like drawing and painting. I can't really sing anymore... It sucks, but... I still love to dance!" Harmony started trailing off a little brighter twords the end, as if it weren't obvious enough that she adored being light on her feet. "Oh!" she said suddenly, as if the idea had come fresh off the top of her mind. "I really like scarves too~. You know, you wrap them around your neck. They keep you warm and are really cute~." Her emerald gaze glanced for a moment to the stand between her and Kobe's bed, an long-past white and pink striped one sitting on the desk. That one, it was very special too her, given to her by someone who had been very close. It always filled her with fond memories every time that she had wore it.

She ended yanking that string out of his white collar shirt, twining it between her fingers with a small smile on her face, pausing when she felt him stiffen up for a few moments from under her, almost bitterly. "You okay?" she asked him, a little tentatively, wondering how long he exactly planned on letting the two of them stay like this.

Kobe just felt like this entire situation was awkward. Not just her glomping him, but the fact that she was in his dorm. He was so used to him being alone in that room of his back at home, that he was quite shocked to see another person relaxing right in front of him. Though, it didn't always use to be that way; him alone all the time.

Wait, what was going on? Kobe's head was spinning with memories. "What? Oh, ah, that's cool," he said, losing interest. He had lost grip to reality. Now, where were they? Oh, yeah. On the floor. Talking about birthdays. "Ohh, scarves," he said in agreement, giving a weak nod of his head. It wasn't cold enough at Beata for a scarf, was it?

From her concerned question, he shook his head, as if trying to say "not to worry". "What? Oh, yeah," he said, shifting uncomfortably. No, the question was how long was she planning for them to stay like this? "So, how long is this tackle going to last?" he asked plainly, tapping a finger on the ground.

The entire time the two of them lay there, Harmony daydreaming about what a wonderful birthday she would have, and Kobe reliving his life up until this point; she remained blissfully unaware of what was exactly going on. Though she didn't realize it, their lives were so sharply contrasted with each other, it was almost a wonder how they were putting up with each other at the mere moment. Perhaps it was because they didn't actually know one another. If this young man had seen the easy life that she had lived, would he even want to be around her anymore? And certainly, at this point, if he had told her everything that had happened to him it would leave the innocent girl near on the verge of tears. She would be afraid of him. Those stories would be shared some day, but not today.

The girl sighed, dropping the small string unto the floor. "Yup. Fourteen years. I'm turning into an old lady." The comment was light-hearted. Why on earth did time have to fly by so fast? Harmony blinked quietly as he went on talking. He sounded so distant, like he wasn't right under her, but somewhere far away. "Yup. Scarves are always fun to wear~ I mean, some people think it's weird, but eh -." she shrugged, knowing that sometimes she received weird looks for wearing a piece of winter clothing in the middle of winter. Pfft. Screw those people.

Harmony didn't exactly all that reassured, but she nodded and shook the subject away. A mischievous smile suddenly appeared on her face. 'If I let you up, are you going to run away?' The girl let out a mock yawn, digging her face into his jacket. "I don't know. You're really comfy." she told him, getting all relaxed. She eyed his tapping finger and laughed breathlessly. Alright~, fine. She climbed off of him and stood up, offering her hand to help him onto his feet.

Oh, yes. If Kobe were to ever hear about Harmony's life... well... What, would he get mad that her life was more laid-back and easy-going than his? Or maybe he would get jealous; he would consider her life far better than his, what with all the drama mixed in his life. Though, maybe the young man wouldn't say a word. Maybe Kobe was silently pleased with his life no matter how it turned out. Because his life had formed him into who he was today. And if he hadn't endured obstacles in his lifetime, he could have ended up like... Like Harmony. A sweet innocent little person who liked to glomp people unannounced! D:< Oh, no offense to Harmony, of course.

Kobe narrowed his eyes at Harmony's 'old lady' comment. Hey! What does that make me? he dared to ask, catching the words in the back of his throat. He thought of something to say, but then he saw a fuzzy shape in the corner of his eye, drifting down to the ground. He turned his head to look. A simple white string descending down gently. Wait-- wasn't that from his shirt? "Hey! Don't mess up my shirt!" he snapped, clasping a hand on the back of his neck. Scarves again, huh? "How in the world do you expect me to get you a scarf in the first place?" he wondered a little demandingly.

Although Kobe couldn't see her smile, he knew that Harmony was going to keep lounging on him, giving some excuse to stay on his back. The yawn had already confirmed that he had been right. And, hey, look! The excuse to stay on his back. "Too bad; get off," he pleaded lightly. Hadn't she already had her fun? For a small moment, Kobe wasn't even sure that if she got up, he could even stand. He felt as if he were paralyzed into the ground. When the weight from his back was lifting, he gave a sigh of relief, slumping head onto the ground. Then, Kobe flipped himself over onto his back to be greeted by an offering hand. Staring at her hand for a long time, he reluctantly took it and felt himself being lifted onto his feet. The boy took a few moments to stretch off the glomp. "You nearly killed me," he pouted, folding his arms. "A simple hug could have sufficed."

... An innocent Kobe. Ha. Imagine that. /shot

Still on top of him at the time, Harmony squeaked and ducked back, avoiding his hand as he slapped down on the back of his neck. "Heyyyyy~" she had almost whined at him, "It was just a loose thread. I did you a total favor." Jeez, man, it was a small piece of string. It wasn't like she was ruffling it up or pulling it off or anything like that. The young woman shrugged. Like hell if she knew the answer to that question. "I don't know. There aren't any stores around here, huh? ... Maybe you could buy one off someone? Oh - or make it yourself! That'd be sweet~." She had waited to finish talked after the two of them were up and off of the ground.

She felt a little awkward as he just stared at her hand, and for a few moments she wondered if he was even going to bother grabbing it, but that bright glow reappeared when he let her help him back unto his feet. She had to take a few steps backwards and kinda tug as his arm to get enough momentum for the whole thing to work; with him being tall and well-bult and her being... short and rather small, actually. When the two of them leveled out, she wiped her hands on her skirt and picked up where she had left off. "Hey, I was just being nice and dropping a hint for you, okay?" Getting a little bored of the topic now, and a little offended he questioned her not-so subtly a little rudely, she dropped the subject.

Pfft? Did he think she was stupid? Harmony watched as he stretched around, putting her hands on her hips in a rather stubborn gesture. "I'm not that heavy, Kobe, really! ;A;" She ended up crossing her arms together just as he did, facing the other way, yet keeping her gaze on him. The blonde suddenly smirked, taking a little amusement in at his pouty face, "But if I had just hugged you, you would have left the room with no problem, now wouldn't 'ya?" And that was clearly the last thing they wanted, right?

Almost looking deep in thought, the young woman danced around Kobe on the tips of her toes. Now, what could she do with him to keep boredom from taking over - wait! Lightbulb! :D

When Kobe was on his feet, he thought about what she had said. Stores. Kobe stopped himself from giving a mocking chuckle. Stores, really? Buy a scarf off of someone? First of all, they were in an Academy in the middle of nowhere, so who would be selling scarves to students? And second of all, Kobe didn't have any money on him! Did she expect him to pull a scarf from his ass and hand it to her? Happy Birfdai~! "Yeah, yeah. I'll probably just make one myself-- Wait, I'm not telling you. That would just ruin the surprise," he said obdurately, giving a nod of his head, as if telling Harmony not to badger him about it. *coughcough*ebsss ene*coughcough* No, no, Harmony didn't want a scaaarf. She was gonna get something better. Something more creative. What was she gonna use a scarf for anyways? Okay, a scarf would be his last resort if he couldn't think of anything else.

Kobe was shocked about how she thought he was implying that she was heavy. "Gah, that's not what I meant," he said. He felt like his words meant nothing when she faced the opposite direction. "I meant that it was sudden, and you smashed me into the ground," Kobe said, trying to make himself clear. He hadn't reacted quick enough to use his gift to block off the pain from the fall/ He wasn't talking about her weight at all! Tch, women. Him being denied did not give a good reaction from Kobe. One of the things Kobe did not like was feeling as if he were chopped liver. Being alone was okay, but being ignored would not fly with him.

When she mentioned him most likely leaving the room, he was surprised at how predictable he was. True, he was leaving the room before she reacted, but if she had simply hugged him, he would have dragged her into the hallway with him and then made some lame excuse for him to ditch her there. Because Kobe was just that nice a guy. In agreement, Kobe gave a small nod, as much has he hated to admit it.

Then Kobe saw himself being circled around by Harmony's dancing. He blinked once, twice, out of pure confusion. He followed her dancing with his eyes, looking over his shoulder when she went behind him. "What are you doing?" he asked her, eyes trained on the young lady as she danced about, carefree.

Well, yeah~ I mean, there weren't exactly any stores or random merchants standing around, but maybe he could just buy one off another of the students, 'ya know? Then again there wasn't exactly a money system around here yet, it wasn't like she cared how he got it done though. She only bothered with the means. Ahem. Hell, like she said, she was just droppin' some hints down, okay? "Huh?" Harmony almost looked caught off guard, her eyes widening in obvious curiosity. He knew what he was going to get her already?! O: "Oh -! Tell me, Kobe! What is it?" She tugged on his arm sleeve, testing to see if he would budge on the matter. She was really curious now! Yeah, come on Piney. ;AA; share. /shot.

Harmony looked the other way, still clearly stubborn before she finally smiled a little again. "Uh-huh. Sure." The blonde loosened up a little, turning back to face him. "For a big strong guy, you're awfully clumsy." she commented, a playful gleam in her eye. It disappeared for a bit when he simply agreed to her statement. So, he really was just going to leave her there? Well, that didn't hurt at all. Nope. Was she really all that intolerable to be around? This place, man, ... The only person who really seemed happy to ever see ever was that one time with Lilac, and even then people seemed to treat her the same way. There was something strange going on here, yo. She bit her lip and held back a sigh, but said nothing more on that.

It wasn't exactly as if she were break-dancing or anything around him; she simply kept light on her feet, standing on the tips of her toes. Her arms were linked together behind her back as her gaze was thoughtfully lock on him, though she did throw a little twirl in there once or twice. "Thinking." Harmony answered simply, going around once more and finally stopping in front on him, putting her hand on her chin - if only to emphasize that she was slowly coming to a conclusion in her mind. After a few moments of this, she suddenly snapped her fingers. "I got it~ - Come on!" She near made a leap for the door, grabbing the knob and throwing it open. With a grin, she leaned forward and grabbed Kobe's hand, tugging him out in the hallway. "There's something I gotta' show 'ya!" It was hard to hide her growing excitement.

When Harmony did the exact thing Kobe was trying to tell her not to do, he folded his arms, giving a heavy sigh. Frowning for a moment, he turned to the side a bit, taking his sleeve back. He then gave a small smile and wagged a finger in front of the girl's face. She wasn't gonna crack him that easily. "Ah, ah, aahh~" he scolded somewhat playfully. "If I told you what it was, you wouldn't be so excited about it, now would you?" Did Kobe even know what he was gonna get her in the first place? Several ideas filled his head. Some... undesirable to him, but maybe not to Harmony. Eh, she'd find out on her birthday. So, Harmony, DROP it, because Kobe was not spilling. >_>

Kobe thought about what she'd said. A big strong guy. ;u; Why, no one had ever said that to him. As a matter of fact, he hadn't heard many compliments towards him in his life. He didn't take it too lightly, and most definitely didn't hide how much the boy was pleased about it too well. Straightening his posture, he just ate her compliment right up, musing about it. He was too full of himself to realize that she had thrown in a little insult in there. And when he did, his beaming attitude faded, and he rolled his eyes at her. Clumsy. Tch. He wasn't clumsy at aaallll. And when his attitude died down, so did hers, he noticed. Hoh, geez. It was the truth, but sometimes the truth could be left unsaid, Kobe. Say something, you moron >:UU his conscience screamed. He didn't wanna lie about it, so he just went on with what Harmony did, and dropped the subject.

Well Ebony had put dancing, so Pine had just suspected she was doing some ballet moves or something around him. Kobe felt a little apprehensive as she danced circles around him. Twirling and looking as if her feet didn't touch the ground. Thinking. That's what she did when she was thinking? So she climbs on your back and rides you like a horse when she's...? Shaking his head, Kobe was a little afraid to ask what she was thinking about. He hoped she didn't expect him to dance along with her. The thought of him doing that was just frightening and could put a dent in his well-being. When Harmony had finally stopped in front of him, he was off guard. He took a staggering step backwards, blinking astoundedly. She had made him quite dizzy by the dancing, actually. And then the thoughtful look. Oh, geez. Kobe was almost certain she was going to do something to intimidate him to go along with it. Snap! It was as if it were a cue to turn his attention to her. And that's exactly what it did. Harmony had opened the door, coaxing him to come with. Would he ever! That was the one thing he wanted to do from the start! Freedo-- Ack! Now she was pulling him by a hand, and he staggered forward, feet pounding against the ground ungracefully. A small blush puffed his cheeks, but he turned his head away to hide it. "What do you have to show me?" he asked her. Kobe was, at the same time, anxious and reluctant to know what she needed to show him. Nonetheless, the young man said nothing more and followed her-- as if he had a choice.

Harmony puffed her face out and crossed her arms when he'd pulled away.You know how jigglypuff looks when he's pissed off? Yeah, just kinda imagine her looking like that. Just 'cause it's funny. Cx "Would too." she muttered back stubbornly, and albeit a little childishly. The young woman sighed. He wasn't really going to budge, was he? Her eyes looked puppy-dogged for a few moments before she finally gave up. "Fiiiiinnneeeeeee." she uncrossed her arms and dropped it. It wasn't that long of a wait until her birthday anyways, thankfully, otherwise the anticipation might kill her. When it came to surprises for her, it was a love-hate relationship.

Lol, no. Silly guy. When she used him as a means of transport, that wasn't her thinking, that was just her taking advantage of a total stranger~. /shot. Mm, no. Though that was a good idea. Perhaps she'd make him dance with her later. He still had a lot to learn. Harmony didn't let go of his hand as she practically dragged him out into the hallway, not even bothering to close the door to their room. She glanced back at him, a sly smile on her face. "Hurry up, Kobe, or I'll make you carry me again!" The blonde threatened playfully, having to pause for him so he wouldn't fall down the stairs as they went to the lower floors. The next time that she had spoke, she didn't even bother looking at him. "I can't tell you where we're going, it'd ruin everything." If he had paid attention to which ways they were turning and such, though, it'd might have been made apparent she was making a dash for the courtyard.

Kobe was glad that she had given up on finding out the present. He was good at keeping a secret even though he became a bit nervous when one began pestering him about it. She should be able keep quiet until her birthday, he hoped. When it came to keeping secrets, Kobe was a steel safe, locked with a key. And sometimes, the key would turn in the lock just slightly each time someone bothered him. But it never seemed to unlock the safe. Because Kobe could deal with most things. But that didn't mean he would never crack after a long time of being pursued.

Kobe was anxious to know where they were going. And why. He just tagged along, basically being dragged by a hand. This is where he'd wanted to be when he noticed Harmony, right? In the hallways? Well, that was before Harmony tackled him down for no apparent reason. Why couldn't she've went back to doing her homework? Instead she dragged him out to the very place he wanted to be, except this time there was no way he could run. She would probably glomp him again, and then there'd be a big scene. He snapped from his thoughts when she commanded him to hurry or he'd have to carry her. Not hesitating, he quickened his pace until he was standing next to Harmony. Kobe tried to think about where they were going, but these hallways were still a little unfamiliar to the boy. It'd ruin everything? What, was she planning something all along that Kobe had failed to realize? Tell Kobbeeee...

Pfft. Are you kidding me? This was MUCH more entertaining than doing homework~. There was always time for that later, or she could copy someone elses before tomorrow afternoon. Either way, with that subject aside; Harmony was much more satisfied that her little threat had worked, not having to practically drag him through the hallways. Still, though, she did not let go of the grip on his hand, both to help lead him to where they were going and to make sure that he didn't get away. Honestly, the girl wouldn't put it past him to try at this point, and that simply wouldn't do.

With a determined look on her face, they finally reached the ground floor. Harmony smiled and opened the door for them with their backside, heading out into the courtyard and glancing around, as if looking for something... or someone. "Now where could she be..." The blonde looked thoughtful for a moment, before shooting up straight, looking a little accomplished. "Oh, look!" Harmony glanced back up at Kobe, her green eyes brimming happily. "I found her!" She then went on to drag Kobe across the courtyard further, approaching a girl that wasn't too much younger than Harm herself was, but still looked like a complete child. "Lilac! I thought you'd be here! Look, I brought him~!" Because they totally did not talk about whether or not her power actually worked and Harmony so didn't place a bet with Lil and didn't volunteer Kobe as a lab rat without his knowledge or permission. :D Nope.
