Studying Alone.....(for now)

Leila set her tote bag with bat wings on the desk and pulled out a book so she could study for class.

Just a few minutes later, a girl dressed in basically all brown walked into the room with her hair pulled back in a bandanna. On her shoulder was a large bag that had all of her school things in it. Taking a look around the library and noticing Leila, she quietly placed her bag down at the foot of an empty chair and desk that was fairly close to Leila, sat down and pulled out a notepad and pencil. Almost instantly, she quickly started writing in hopes as to not disturb the girl she was close to.

Leila, dressed in her wild, Goth gear, looked up at the new girl. She moved her bag to make sure it wasn't in her way and fixed her bat headband before going back to the book.

Saurin walked in and nodded at the girls before heading to the section marked Pyrokinesis, grabbing a book, and leaned against the wall with the book opened in his hand reading intently. He occasionally looked up at Leila or the other girl for a glance, he was uncomfortable with people he didn't know, and he was always paranoid that they were looking at him.

Leila was aware of the two others and moved away a bit, feeling anxious. Her heartbeat picked up and she, too, began glancing up at them from time to time.

Feeling the tension between the two of them and the newcomer that was standing somewhat close to them yet a little farther than Sarah was to Leila, Sarah glanced up to notice how uncomfortable Leila was feeling. She didn't want to see the girl that way, yet she didn't want to freak her out by trying to talk to her because she knew how the black-haired girl had felt. Taking a deep breath, she looked back at her. "Are... Are you okay?" She asked in a soft quiet voice that sounded a little raspy as if she hadn't used her voice in quite a long time.

Leila almost jumped and looked at the girl. "Y-yeah...I'll be fine. S-sorry..." She felt a bit bad right then. She had gotten paranoid and forgot where she was-in a school. Not a crowd. Just a library with two people. Hope I didn't worry her too much...

"Oh no, it's okay," She replied, a small smile appearing on her lips as she shyly glanced at Leila. "I'm.. I'm Sarah, by the way."

Leila's black lips moved to a smile. "I-I'm Leila. Nice to meet you."

OOC; Oh it was my best idea to join this, no social akwardness at all. *shot*

IC: Saurin looked up from his book. "Erm...I'm Saurin." He mumbled, "Call me Kip."

Sarah quickly turned her attention to Saurin. "Oh, it's nice to meet you too," She said bashfully with a small smile on her face. "Uh.. What are you guys studying for?"

Leila blushed a bit. "I-I'm kind of doing research on my power. So I can use it better and know more of what I'm doing."

"Erm... I am just studying, you can never be to careful what they'll throw at you." He said, sighing. He then broke into a coughing fit, when it ended he straightened himself.

Leila looked over at him. "Are...you okay?"

"Yeah sorry I am fine it's just...Well...Nothing." He focused back on the book.

"You can tell me. I'm good with secrets...but if you don't want to talk about it, I won't pry," Leila said, smiling lightly.

(Let's make that four socially awkward people 8D Eric is uncomfortable around people he doesn't know well ouo)

Eric walked into the room, looking around. He sat down at the same table he was at the other day with the kid who could duplicate himself from the past and future, and began reading more about others with a similar power to his.

"Ahem well, I suppose I can tell you." He closed the book. "For a while now I have had these coughing fits, mostly after I use my powers, but sometimes it just happens, each year it gets worse, and some say that once my powers fully develop...Well lets just say I won't be around to long after that."

Leila looked at him sadly. "I'm so sorry...if there's anything I can do to help...just tell me, okay? I know my power can't help, but..."

"Heh, I don't even know if what they say is true, I am obviously in the dark about this whole thing." He shrugged.

"I think you'll be okay...I mean, maybe we'll find a cure for you. You never know!" Leila smiled, trying to boost his confidence.

"Find a cure for what?" Eric asked. He seemed to have spontaneously appeared. It was clear that he used his speed to pop over to them quickly, and seem not to be interested. Eavesdropping? I guess.

It took Sarah a moment to realize what was going on when suddenly Eric had shown up in what seemed to be the blink of an eye. Looking a little surprised, she glanced back and forth between Eric and Kip, rather confused. What power were they talking about? She didn't know and hoped that they would explain as the conversation went on.

"Ah yes hello," He nodded, "Ah yes well my powers of teleportation take a toll on my body, like all your powers do right now of course. Yet I seem to take quite a heavy toll, my body grows weak after teleporting, leading to a coughing fit and I feel better as the day goes on."

"When you put it that way, it sounds like it might actually get better with training..." Leila commented.
