Looking in the Library

Lena opened the door to the Library, and looked around. She wanted to find a good book to read if they have one. She stepped in and randomly to a shelf.

Stephen sat at one of the tables, reading a book of several historical topics, not noticing Lena's presence.

Aravis walked through the library, looking for something to do. She picked up a random book, and sat down in a corner.

"Hmm hmm hmm, hmm hmm," The carefree, singsong hum of an artificial blond, thumbing through different books on a shelf. She didn't know what she was looking for, but boredom had overcame her and she had traveled to the library. She loved the library most times. It was a quiet place to be alone.

ic: Happy was already reading a book. It was a picture book, and his eyes were glued to a page. Why did he enjoy reading nursery rhymes so much? "Humpty dumpty sat on a wall..." he murmured to himself, eyes scanning the page.

Lena heard Happy's voice and shuddered. She looked over and noticed Happy, "H-hey Happy.." She made a small wave.

Avery had finally found the book she was looking for!
She turned the page in a book called "World Domination For Dummies", grinning happily. It was only a matter of time...

Happy flinched at his name. Turning his head slowly, he spotted Lena waving hesitantly at him. It was all his fault. He hadn't meant to try to hurt her in any way. He gave a weak wave with two fingers, not lifting up his hand, and looked down at his book. This story was really depressing. "....couldn't... put Humpty together again...." He turned the page slowly, not showing that he was pitying the poor egg in the story.

"That is soooo cute," Maggie chirped as she walked passed Happy, looking at his book.

Happy felt her walking past, and he lowered his head. He saw the next page. Hopefully it was not as depressing as the last one.

Dammit, why couldn't he keep them away?! It seemed like every topic he entered, he'd have to be trailed by a bunch of ghosts? lolwut. This thread is full. Oh well.
Logan closed his eyes and practiced forcing them away like before as he entered the library. Maybe he'd even be able to send Hana away too. When he opened his eyes, he say a few people, and made his way to a table. It was across from Avery, and he raised his eyes at her book.
Hana smiled, obviously still there, and sat down by Happy, looking at his book. "I weik dat book!" She said cheerfully, although Happy couldn't hear. He would probably tell that the air got colder where Hana appeared, but nothing else. Logan looked over, and rolled his eyes.

Maggie squealed. "Children stories! I bet you think you're an 'Ugly Duckling', you little emo creature," She said airily, peering down at the book from behind Happy.

Happy's eyes trailed over to Logan. Creep. He looked at Lena. Creep. He looked at Maggie. Creep. He looked at Stephen. Creep. He looked at Aravis. Creep. He looked at Avery. Holyshititsher. Happy honestly did not enjoy all this pressure and the sudden cold chill he felt surrounding him.

He just wanted to read his book in peace without all these.... Creeps. Turning the page, he wiped his eyes as tears began to form. ....that poor.... duckling.... Dx

Happy almost fell backward by the sudden talking of Maggie. "ASFDSFAJL!!??! I-- wh--!?" He stared at her, obviously terrified. I'm... an Ugly Duckling? D: That comment made him really upset. Emo creature... Gee, that made him feel better. Happy couldn't stop himself from stuttering, "uuhh--! What? Wh--...." He figured that if he just looked away, she would disappear. Yeah. That would work. He turned away, trying to hold back the look of misery from his face.

My, God... this poor duckling... ;3;

Maggie was oblivious to Happy's fear and whatever-the-hell else he was feeling, and she only smiled carelessly. She placed her hand on Happy's shoulder, and said soothingly, "It's okay, little duckling. You're not that hideous," She grinned happily, totally unaware at how offensive she was being. Maggie's face sank when she saw Happy's eyes water, and she bit her lip curiously.

"Don't cry!" She said, putting her arm around his shoulder. "It's just a story. He becomes a swan at the end." Maggie laughed, ruining the story for him.

Hana blinked, moving out of the way for Maggie. She frowned, feeling bad for Happy. "Miss! You awe huwting hes feelwings!" She complained, even if no one could hear her. She never really came to terms with the fact that she was, well.. dead.
She tapped on Maggie's shoulder and crossed her arms, with a little pout of the lips.

Aravis walked up to Maggie, and slapped that girl!

And then Happy turned and betch slapped Hana D:<

Happy just buried his face in his arms. This cruel person!! He shakily changed the story. Beauty and the Beast. He could tell just by looking at it that this story was going to be somewhat scary or depressing. He didn't say anything to her, scared that she might make fun of him some more.

I must be really ugly...

He stopped reading and looked down. "I'm sorry!" he apologized. He heard a clap-noise and looked up hesitantly. Oh, no! It was his fault, wasn't it!? That this girl slapped this other girl! No matter how much she deserved it, he got up and began shuffling away.

Maggie's eyes began to water, her lip began to quiver . . . and the waterworks streamed down her pretty face. She threw her head into her hands and disappeared behind a bookshelf, sobbing without restraint. She was just teasing the little thing -- to her mindset, she was being friendly to the Happy creature.

Lena watched the whole thing go down. She went back to her books after the girl ran away.
