Window Sill :D

Stephen simply stood there awkwardly, unsure of what to do or say. Finally, he moved, grabbing her on the shoulder. "Calm down," he told her, his voice was unclear, hard to tell if was an order or a plea.

Aislinn yanked her shoulder back from him, scared. "Wh- what is your po-.. Your power?" She asked, releasing her hand from her hair & looking at him. A migraine had started to form in her upperbrow. See, Aislinn couldn't stand when people used their power to get in her mind. She felt defenseless, defiled, because at the moment her only power she could use was the force field in her mind.

He put his hand back down steady, a solemn expression on his face. He didn't know how to explain it, and there was no way he was about to try. The teachers didn't have a name for it. "It is.." Stephen tried to start, glancing out at the pouring rain before turning back to Aislinn. With a glint of his blue eyes the fiery red-head would loose all of her hearing; she couldn't hear the rain, Stephen, she wouldn't even be able to hear herself talk. All except her thoughts would be silent

She looked at him sideways. This boy was just, just... Mysterious. Aislinn rubbed the skin above her eyebrow in rhythmic motions. Her head was pounding. "I- I didnt me- mean to freak out on you... it- it just, I thought you were using your po- powers against me." Closing her eyes lightly, she shuddered a moment, then relaxed, blinking lightly. Her migrane had left as she had relaxed her defenses. It wasnt like she was a spaz or anything. She just didn't like bin intruded on, it was some degree of privacy.

Stephen didn't say a word as he gave the young miss her hearing back, simply peering down at her as she apoligized and tried to regain her composure. "I don't need powers," he told her quietly, "People can be read easily like books if you pay close enough attention, but nothing you do or say matches up. So, if that's all.."

Aislinn didn't know what to say. As if in an instant, the pounding rain came back, and the rhytmic drum of her heart in her ears. She knew his power. He could take her senses away. With a shudder she back a few steps away. "You can leave." Aislinn said, her eyes focused on her brown boots. "Leave..." She trailed off, rubbing her arm slightly.

Oh. Believe me, it was his pleasure to do so, though some strange tugging feeling drew him ever so slightly to her. "If you ever need my help," Stephen called down to her, "Just call." He placed his hand on her shoulder and gave Aislinn the small smile, though completely genuine, before letting go and finally walking back to his down room.

What an intriguing power. Flinching ever so slightly from his touch, Aislinn blinked up at his smile with a nod, and an almost smile. "Will do." She said, taking five steps back from him, and turning the other way.
