Healing Hours [Anyone can join, because I'm bored as heyulll]

Ryuu poked nonchalantly at the binds attached to his face, wincing at the pinch of pain that followed. He had arrived at the infirmary a couple of hours ago, after having broken his jaw and fractured his knee during an arena battle with Nyla.
Nyla. Where was she? Hadn't she been hurt, too? Ryuu grabbed the notepad and pen next to his pillow and began writing a note.

Docter Will walked into Ryuus room with a clipboard "Hello Ryuu, how are you feeling?"

Ryuu, unable to speak, scribbled in messy printing onto the notepad: "Miserable."

"Do you want some pain medicine?" he asked

Nyla was followed Ryuu to the infirmary but was kinda slow at it. She was tired and didn't really feel like walking. When she started walking through the door she tripped and fell, but quickly stood back up. "I'm good." She announced to no one in particular.

Ryuu nodded to William, but was quickly drawn towards Nyla's rather clumsy entry into the room.
Damn.. why did it have to by my jaw that broke? My writing's terrible.

"Okay I'll be right back" Will said and walked over to Nyla and helped her up

"Thanks." Nyla said to Will then went and sat down in a chair somewhere in the room.

Ryuu's pen dashed across the notepad, and without looking at her, he held it up for Nyla.
"Sorry about the arena.. Yeah, I know this apology sucks, but as you can see, I'm not a writer, and my jaw is busted. Haha."

"Haha it's okay, you didn't plan it. Also I am sorry about your jaw. Maybe metal wasn't the best choice.." Nyla said with a slight smile. "Maybe plastic or wood would have been better"

"Hah, yeah.. then we'd both be laying around in the infirmary for a while, though." The written sentence may have appeared to be light-hearted, which it was, but a trace of seriousness lingered in the young man's eyes. His attacks had been completely unplanned and reckless, and he hadn't been thinking of whether he cared about hurting someone or not.

"Well I will be here anyway or not I am a nurse~" She said happily. "My power may not be suited for it though but I like helping out." She said as she grabbed a random cotton ball and turned into a cotton ball herself. "I can absorb on a few material right now though.."

Will walked back into the room after getting pain medicine and handed a pill to Ryuu "That will help but it might make you drowsy"

Ryuu would have laughed at how strange Nyla looked. Instead, he wrote: "I wonder what would happen if a bucket of water got dumped on you. Would you go soggy?" Turning his head towards the painkiller pill he had received, he raised and eyebrow.
"Excuse me, but how am I supposed to take this.. You know what, never mind. I'm fine for now." How was Ryuu supposed to swallow it in his condition? That's not the brightest thing ever..

"Well me being like this might come in handy one day." She commented before turning back to normal. She then shoved the cotton ball into a pocket.

Ryuu glanced down at his paper for a moment. What could he write now?
There had been something that he'd been willing to say, but he couldn't place his finger on it.
Scanning the room, he spotted two people exiting the nearby doorway.
Two people.. Yes, That was it.
Ryuu turned away slightly and scratched a couple of words onto the lined paper. Although his face was mostly bound up in supports and cotton, he briefly fretted about his eyes giving away any of the words on the page. Breathing steadily through his nose, he turned the paper to Nyla.
"So.. I was wondering.. When I'm out of this cast.. Will you have a bit to go out, some time?"

Nyla looked at the paper for a moment, she blinked then nodded with a smile. Her face being slightly pink from a small blush.
