Hey, Harmony's here! |D

A young girl near skipped down the hallways, a paper clenched tightly in her hand of her schedule, her hours, and her dorm room; she brightly waved and gave a simple "hi" to every stranger that passed her way. She got on her tippy-toes, looking at all the paintings and gazing out into the courtyard. This place was so big, and there were so many people? She wondered for a moment if she could ever remember her way around, or if she'd ever get lost. Where was her room? Oh, where the other people in it nice? She hoped so. Then it could be like having a sleepover every night! How many friends would she make? Where was her sister? Maybe she could help her many friends. Hey, did they have a dance room here? Or a big studio with big empty walls she could draw all over? So many questions. So much to learn and do, and it was only the first day.
Happily, Harmony brushed a few strands of blonde bangs behind her ear and continued to walk down the halls. Well, better go get some answers~.

Melody walked down the hallways, nearly skipping herself. After the last couple of days with her and Nathaniel getting together and all, she was happy as she had ever been. Of course, there was the incident with Happy and what not, but even that did little to dampen her soaring mood. In fact, she was so high in spirits that it toke her a moment to recognize the girl in front of her, turned in the other direction and looking out at the courtyard. From this angle, Melody could see blonde hair much like her own, and green eyes shining bright with sunlight. She looked all to familiar for the teen to process, but when she finally did, her heart stopped. No way.. No! Quickly, she spun around, trying to sprint away without being noticed. No, no, no. Not her!

The young girl continued greeting every one in her sight, "Hi!" she smiled brightly, "Hi~!" Running out of people to wave at, she looked farther down the hallway, catching look of someone who she thought might be familiar. Harmony had to paused her walk for a second and squint her eyes, trying to get a better look before the person saw her instead. It was a little hard to tell who it was exactly. She was wearing the school uniform, that only looked exactly like everyone elses, and her hair was kinda different too. Did it grow or something? And she seemed... way to happy, more than she was used too. All those considerable, and totally random, factor's aside... Her eyes grew wide and she gasped, like after finding a huge surprise present her mother got her now and then~. "MELODYYY!" she squealed, beginning the chase after her sister.


MEANWHILE, IN NATE'S WORLD. |D /it'salinkshot.

Melody cringed at the sound of.. of her voice. One she had heard way to many times for her liking. At dinner, when babysitting, whenever the girl and her mother danced around the living room like fools, and she laughed like an annoying little monkey. Why, God why did she have to be here? Slowly, she turned, forcing a smile on her face. It didn't even compare to the joy she saw on her sibling's face, but it would do. Inside, she was begging to be anywhere but here. She had been so blissful, having such a great day, an amazing time at Beata. But now, with her sister, along came a plethora of memories and thoughts she didn't want to think. Waving slightly, she crinkled her nose at her sister. "Heeey, Harm." Melody was probably the only one that called her that. She was also probably the only one that saw the innocent little girl as such.

She was still squeeing gleefully as she caught up to her, running lightly on the very tips of her toes. Harmony hadn't seen her in so long! Not that she really missed her, per se, but that didn't mean it wasn't nice to see her~ Now they could do so many things, like paint each other's nails or sing songs together like they used to when they were little! "Mel!" she shouted happily again, making a small leap and wrapping her arms around her, she clung to her big sister; not giving too many signs of loosening her grip anytime soon. "You look kinda funny in that outfit, I could hardly tell it was you! How have you been? Have you been having fun? Is it fun here? OHHHH, this is going to be SO GREAT!" she exclaimed, almost jumping up and down out of excitement.

A pained a expression on her face, she tried to smile again, but it came across as more of a grimace. She gave Harmony a few awkward pats on the back, wanting desperately to pry her sister off of her. "Well, you'll have to wear one too, you know. It's.. fine here." She said, blinking. Actually, it was almost perfect until you showed up, you little Pansy. She screamed in her head, but on the outside cleared her throat. Yeaaah, greeeat." She mumbled halfheartedly, resting her hand on her sister's shoulder and giving her a small shove, signaling for her to loosen her grip.

Whatever look was on Melody's face, she probably would have taken little notice, and even if she did she would have forgotten it easily; so, her sister was a stick in the mud... Oh well, she was used to it. Harmony still clung a few moments longer before finally releasing her grip. She backed away, "Yeah, but I think I'll be okay. I look good in almost anything." Her green eyes gleamed, so assured in the fact that she would manage to look cute in such a uniform that looked tacky on her sister! She folded her hands behind her back and rocked back and forth on her feet, a sweet smile on her face. "So, do you know anyone around here? Do they like to sing too? Are there any cute guys? Do they look like the one direction guys? I love them~. Where are the dorms, by the way? Are the walls white? Can we draw on them?" So full of questions~ I was tempted to put Justin Beiber instead, but that'd be taking it way too far. xDD

Melody facepalmed, before looking up with an expression the read, God, why are you doing this to me? ;_; Turning back to her sister, she placed a hand on her shoulder, pushing her forward in the direction of the dorms. "Yes, I don't know, yes, not that I know of, this way, some of them, annnnd Hell no." Thinking for a moment, she nodded, content with her answers. "Now, my turn to ask questions- which dorm are you in, why are you here, because I know for a fact mom would not let you come. So what happened?" She asked, a frown on her face, thinking. Did her mother finally agree to let her sister come? She had been fairly content with not letting her anywhere near the school, so why now?

Harmony was caught a little off balance when her sister had urge her off into the dorm's direction, but leapt forward and quickly regained herself, in time to hear Mel finish off the list of answers she so desired. They couldn't draw on the walls? Well that stunk. All the rooms would look so plain, then... She'd have to find tons of white paper and paste it all up, just to make the school a little more brighter. She was about going on asking questions, but frowned and irritation when her sister had declared it her turn to talk. The young girl huffed and crossed her arms, she supposed she could ask a few questions. When it was her turn to answer, though, Harmony loosened right up again. "Um~ Fourteen, I think." She lifted her paper up to her face really quick to check. Yup! "Well, I started kinda maybe doing that weird thing you do where you sing and people start snoring --" Harmony started to explain, holding her hand out as if it were a simple explanation. "Except people only get a little sleepy when I sing. And the school talked to mom and dad and invited me here because I've got that gifty-thing too apparently. Mom wasn't too happy about it, but auntie talked to her and she changed her mind. 'Said I could come so they could teach me to sing without the powers." She gave a small nod. And she made that a promise, too! No way she'd let their mom down! Harmony didn't expect it to take that long either, and she could go home and then everything would be awesome again!

"So... You're leaving whenever you can control it? Because I know how to for the most part, and I could help you." She tried to keep excitement and hope from reaching her voice. She didn't mind helping her sister if it meant she'd leave Beata faster.
A couple things bit at her, such as the fact that her aunt actually wanted this- Melody loved her aunt, of course, but she always looked for what was best for everyone. Sadly, that included Harmony. Another thing, since when did Harmony have the power? Mel had seen no signs of it growing up, of course, it was weak now, so probably just appeared.
But she'd figure that all out later, for now, she had to show Harm to her dorm. And away from Nate. Oh, God... Whenever he found out she had a sister... she'd have to talk, wouldn't she? Not sure if she was ready for that yet, she began walking faster in the direction of Dorm 14.

She glanced up at her sister as they walked down, not answering immediately. There were new people to smile and wave at on every corner they turned! She was determined to give a kind, passive greeting to everyone in the school at least once while she was here. When there was a free moment she looked up and nodded at her older sister. "Uh-huh!" she chimed, her green eyes starting to gleam. "Oh, could you? That'd be amazing. Hey -- maybe if you figure out how to do it, you can come home with me!" Harmony sounded enthralled at the suggestion. Then Melody could be normal too, and their family would be complete~. Her thoughts were interrupted as soon as she noticed that she was starting to lag behind her sister. "Why are you walking so fast -- oh, hi!" Whew, that was close! She almost missed one! Harmony paused and turned to wave at the stranger, who was looking at the two of them with a clear look of confusion. A tall, young auburn-haired boy with a thick book held in one hand. "Mel?" he called a little uncertainly.

Melody shook her head immediately, tossing out the idea. "No." She had probably answered to fast, causing suspicion, so she tried to come up with a reason. "I-I want to completely learn all about the power. Not... not that I don't miss it at home. This is just where I should be now." Jeez, didn't she sound wise. Not that she didn't miss it at home. She did. Just not her mom. She had even longed to see her sister again. But... not here. Looking back, she frowned at said sister. "I'm just thinking that you must be tired after coming all the way up here and all. I thought you'd want your sleep and what not." She reasoned, as if it was obvious.
They were almost to the dorm, she could see it not far ahead in the hallway. Maybe they wouldn't even see- of course. He had to be here. At this moment. When she hadn't figured out anything at all to say. She cringed, and turned around, forcing a smile, although it was certain he could see through any facade she put up. "Oh, hey Nate." She replied, running a hand through her hair a little nervously. God, please don't let Harmony embarrass me. Or say anything. Or God forbid, flirt with him... No table would be safe.

Harmony frowned at first. No? Why would she ever want to say 'no' to home? Whenever they had talked about her sister being sent away to Beata, they had always talked of it like it was some sort of punishment. Yeah, okay, now that she was here the academy looked like a pretty awesome place; but come on. You know what they always say, 'there's no place like home'~. Though, as Melody went on, it slowly started to make more sense in her mind... she guessed. "But what's so great about having a power when you can just forget about it? It's not like it makes us special or anything.. Just really weird, like Grandma." Her little rant sounded bitter, but she really didn't have much of a clue what she was saying, it was just a little snippet of one the many things their mother had said.
Her green eyes caught her sister's crimson ones, looking at her like she was a little crazy. "What are you crazy? There's still so much to do and see. Come onnnn, I just got here. Couldn't you give me the grand tour or something?" Her voice was on the edge of whining and she had noticed when Mel had stopped her walk too. She noticed that this guy knew her name and started flicking her gaze back and forth between the two of them. So, they knew each other?
Nate stepped out a little further into the hallway, giving Mel a strange look, what was wrong with her? "What's the rush?" he asked, catching the eye of the younger girl next to her. Huh, she looked just like...
"Hi!" Harmony repeated her greeting once again, stepping away happily from the other girl's side, walking up to him.She began looking at him from different angles. "Hm. You're cute." she decided. So, Melody did not lie. Well, he wasn't exactly cute like One Direction, but it'd do. "My name's Harmony." The young girl announced sweetly, even going as far as doing a little curtsy.
Nate continued to stare blankly at her for a few moments before a small smile grew on his face, doing half a bow back. "Pleasure to meet you, Miss." He said to her kindly, making her squee a little, he stood back up straight and turned his attention back to Melody.

Melody still focused on Nate, but whenever Harmony mentioned their grandmother, that caught her attention. "Shut up! She almost snapped, leaning down to look her sister in the eye. "I don't care if it makes me weird in you and mom's book, this power makes us both special whether you like it or not. You can't fight it." She whispered for just her to hear, Mel's voice a lot calmer now, as she tried to give away no emotion. Although, inside, she had a storm brewing.
Ignoring the comment on the short tour, Melody looked up, returning her gaze to the boy. "I was just showing Harm- ohdearGod." She stopped in her tracks at Harmony's comment to her boyfriend. Hers. In a very anime-esque fashion, you could practically see the area darken around Melody, and a vein pulse on her forehead. It's of no pleasure to you. She hissed inwardly, rubbing her temples. Well, with the cat already exiting the bag, it was about time to dump the contents. "Nate! This is Harmony... Delangelo." She narrowed her eyes for a moment, before sighing. "... My sister." My younger, annoying, preppy, spoiled, less attractive sister. *shot*

The young girl froze, a little surprised not only about the coldness in her whispers, but the forcefulness in what she was saying. "What's so special about singing people to sleep?" she muttered under her breathe. It wasn't exceptional or spectacular. She wanted to be a star someday, like what her mother always told her, she wanted to go on stage and give her heart out. Hear millions of people screaming her name. She didn't want those entire crowds of adoring fans passed out before she could even reach the chorus. That's why the sooner she could block out her power, the better. She pushed the bad thoughts aside and smiled at her sister's introduction, bitter as it was. "Nice to met you too."
Nate was almost certainly a little frightened by Mel's dark anger, he could practically see it radiating off of her, and decided to step away from Harmony. "You never told me you had a sister." He had to force the smile the more with each step he took closer to Melody. Eventually he got close enough to where he could wrap his free arm around her shoulders. "calmdownmelporfavor;w; I'm Nathaniel... Her boyfriend." He glanced at Mel, hoping she wouldn't jerk away or do anything of the sort. It wasn't much fun when she was in a mood like this. ;w;
Harmony instantly gasped and and put her hands to her mouth. "You know how mom feels about that, Mel!" she said as if the news were outstandingly shocking. When they had found out about Melody's gift, their parents had made it clear that they wanted to keep a whole thing a secret. After all, who would really understand the power? It'd just weird people out and then the neighborhood would really think they were freaks. It was always okay for Harmony to go out with friends or bring home a boy for dinner, but it never really seemed like they trusted her sister to keep it hushed, per se. The thought never really occurred to her that this boy was also here for similar reasons, though.

Nothing. Nothing's special about it. It's us, and we have to make it special. She thought, almost echoing something her grandmother had once told her. That no one was ever born destined for greatness, and you had to work your ass to the top. Mel looked away and bit her lip. "Yeah. It never really came up." She replied with a shrug. Melody stiffened, but didn't jerk away or anything of the like. Seeing Harmony's reaction, she frowned. "Well-" Then she blushed a deep crimson, looking at the ground. "The reason mom didn't let me date was because she was scared I'd do something to make us look like freaks. But not here. Here, everyone knows about powers. It's the norm. So it doesn't matter." She murmured quietly, looking at her feet. "And don't act so shocked!" She added the last part out of pure annoyance, with a roll of her eyes as she dared a peek at her sibling.

Well, if Harmony had the choice of being special as a normal girl, or a normal girl in the freaks; it shouldn't be too hard to figure out with what she'd rather choose to be. "You mean you never told anyone about me?" Harmony huffed and put her hands on her hips, "That kinda hurts my feelings." She looked up at her sister with a pouty face, when in reality, she didn't care in the least. "Oh, yeah... I suppose." She said quietly, crossing her arms. That was right, there were a bunch of oh-so "special" people here left and right. Somehow, that slipped her mind. Alright, maybe this wouldn't be as fun as she had originally thought. "Well it IS a little surprising. You're always so stuffy, I didn't even know it was possible." Harmony came up closer, passing a glance at Nate and leaning up to whisper in Mel's ear, "Can we share him?" she asked quietly. Really only because Eb feels like a troll. x3
Nate couldn't help but smile a little more naturally now, seeing her face match her eyes. "So I'm your first?" He asked, looking down at her before Harmony had approached. Though, it was bugging him; a new sister out of no where and a mom who seemed to be just a little controlling. Other things among, but those are the two that stood out the most. He'd have to wait and see if she wanted to talk about it later.

"Like I said Harm, it never came up." She retorted with a casual shrug. She bit her lip, crossing her arms over her chest, and leaning on one foot with attitude. The crimson eyes teen rolled her eyes. "I'm not stuffy." She snapped, although she tried not to act like she cared.
Looking back and forth from the two, her eyes widened and she blushed a deeper color. "NO!" She shouted, looking at her feet. God, could this get any worse? Not only was her sister here, with the same Jigglypuff power as her, but she was now hitting on Nathaniel, and pulling skeletons out of the closet. And to make matters worse, she felt like a complete idiot. Alright, so what if he was her first real boyfriend? Jeez, why couldn't Harmony keep her mouth shut? Because they sure as Hell weren't harmonizing.

"Are too." Harmony crossed her arms, immitating Melody, and shot back childishly, "Even now." The redder her older sister turned, the more satisfied that Harmony seemed to be. "Awe, but we've always shared everything." Granted, Melody was kinda forced to share with her little sibling, but that was besides the point. "Alright." Nate said suddenly, deciding that things had gotten a little too far. "You were looking for the dorms, right? Down the hall, first right. The numbers are in roman..." The little blonde blinked at him with a lost expression, to which he stared back for a moment awkwardly. "It'll have an X, and I, and a V on the door... In that order, so... If you wanna meet your new roommates..." She suddenly looked interested in the idea, "By myself? Mel, come with me, pretty please?" She gave the young woman puppy dog eyes.

"I'm not stuf-" She bit her lip. Fighting would make it worse, considering how stubborn she knew Harmony was. She was like the typical little sister, and Melody hated it. Why couldn't she be less happy all the time? It got on Mel's nerves, especially back home. "Well, he isn't a lollipop, and we both don't get a lick, kay? Mkay." She replied calmly, in a somewhat condescending manner. Oh God, why did she have to make that sound sexual? Was it just her that noticed? She hoped so. She also hoped no one noticed the deepening of her blush, and Nate didn't sense the embarrassment that was nearly palpable in the air. Why did Harmony have to bring out her bad side?
"But I- I don't-" She did feel a little bad for her sister. A little. How did their mother feel about Harmony being a freak too? She had probably hugged the girl and cried for her, letting her know that momma would always love her, no matter how much she grew to be like her monster of a sister. She could almost see it now. Disgusting.
"Why would I need to go with you? You're a big girl. Besides, no one here bites." Well, unless it had something to do with their power.

Harmony huffed and turned her head away at her sister's retort, crossing her arms; she looked like what I can only imagine to be a stubborn, puffed up little jigglypuff. It wasn't fair. How come she had a boyfriend and Harmony didn't? That didn't even make sense! Granted she had hardly only been here for a few hours, but still, that was besides the point. And while she hadn't noticed the boxy little inuendo-- Nate, who still had his arm around her, did. Don't worry, it didn't do much, just left him snickering for a few moments. He could feel this conversation was still going downhill, so he pressed Harmony forward a little. "You'll want to go fast to and see your new room. You can do whatever you want with it." The young girl suddenly looked excited at the idea. Like paint the walls? Hmm... Well, if she got into trouble, she could always look cute and innocent and point her figure at whats-his-face her sister was dating.
"Alright, fine." Harmony chimed and started heading for the dorms, her attention still on her sister as she went. "I'll come and find you later, okay?"

God, could things get much worse? Now she looked like an idiot in front of Nathaniel too. She shook her head as he snickered, her embarrassment still growing.
Guessing what was on her mind, Melody frowned. Though she didn't seem like it, what, with how she thought of her sister and all, she still was the protective older sister. It didn't matter the past- they were family, and to be honest, the only problem with her was... Melody was envious. And she was a little twit at times, too. "Hey, don't even think about drawing on the walls- you'll get in a Hell of a lot of trouble." She called after her, a disapproving tune in her voice, as well as a little worry. She sighed. I guess it'll be my job to get her adjusted and what not. "Alright... See you later." Even that hurt to say. With her sister here, her emotions were doing cartwheels in the deep end, and she honestly didn't know what to think other than- Oh, shit.
Once her sister was gone, Melody let out a sigh and backed up a little, pulling away from Nate a moment. She leaned her head against a wall once she bumped into it. Without thinking, she closed her eyes and sank to the ground. "Well, wasn't that just a fun little family reunion?" She mumbled sarcastically, shutting her eyes. Damn, damn, damn.

Harmony shrugged as she spun around on her toes, "See you, Smelly Melly!" She grinned and near danced out of sight, eagerly awaiting to see her new room. Meh, it was okay. If worse came to worse she also snuck in those markers that only showed up under those lights. Then, when she went to sleep, she could use her flashlight and look at all the pretty pictures on the wall~. That'd be awesome.
Waiting and watching as the young girl disappeared out of sight, Nathaniel looked at Melody a little sadly, unable to help but pay close attention to the complete clusterfuck of emotions that were welling up inside of her. He said nothing as she pulled away, letting her fall to the ground. Obviously, it wouldn't be right just to leave her there, torn down on the floor; he didn't even really consider it an option. So, Nate sat down next to her and put the book down, bringing up his knees and resting his arms on them, he looked down at her. "Do you want to talk about it?" He asked. She didn't have too, but obviously there was some pretty serious issues between her and Harmony; he had never seen her like this before. Harmony didn't seem to be all that unusual of a girl. He didn't mind just sitting there and letting the topic pass, though, if that was what she wanted. There was always later, and not on the floor in the middle of one of the random hallways.

Smelly Melly? Really? I haven't heard that name in forever...
She didn't looked at Nathaniel for a long time. She just sat there, staring at the window across from her. She had actually never planned on telling anyone anything about her past, because it was so hard to bring up, but now the memories were surfacing. And since the secret was out, she figured it would be best to get everything off of her chest. Her gaze still resting somewhere off in the distance, she slowly laid her head on his shoulder. It toke another couple of moments before she spoke, and then it was just a whisper. "Hey, I have a sister, by the way." She joked, although there was little humor in her tone.

He didn't make any more attempts to press her, staring forward at his hands. Alright, she never told him about Harmony because the topic never brought it up. Fair enough, he supposed. After all, he never really talked with her about his own brother, but then again he never thought he had to since she sorta shared a dorm with him; she would have figured it out sooner or later. The more Nate thought about it, though, the more he realized he knew hardly a thing about her life outside of Beata... Only that she used to go to the beach a lot.
Nathan took in a deep breathe and held it after he realized she was going to rest on his shoulder. He was a afraid to move, like if he jerked she'd tip over or something like that. "She looks a lot like you." Nate smiled weakly, his voice hardly above hers, still wanting to be careful.
