Being artistic

James had been having one of those days when you cant think of anything to draw or paint, or else known as painters block, when he heard the door open and close.

Maleia sat down on the couch.she didn,t notice James at first.

"hey" he said still not knowing who it was, he was still back in his room

Maleia fell off the couch when she heard James"Hey." she said"Who is this?"she asked as she got up.

"what you still dont reconize my voice?" he asked jokingly walking out of his room and leaning on the wall

Maleia cocked her head to one side"I don't even know you ." she said picking up the remote.

"james" he said "I know i was just kidding."

"Oh,I don't take jokes in real well,"she said.Maleia turned on the tv,but all there was was static.she just kept the tv on though.

"oh sorry didn't mean to make you worried or anything" he said grabbing a bean bag from his room and setting it next to the couch not sure if he was wanted on the couch.

Maleia looked at the bag with curiosity"What's that?" she asked turning of the tv.

"you don't know what a bean bag is?" he asked "wow we need to introduce you to the world" he said smiling

Maleia looked at him"Tell me,why are you happy?'She asked taking the hood off her cloak.

"what I didn't know it was a crime to be happy. I guess its just a good day other than artists block" he said shrugging.

"How is this a good day?" she asked turning her fingers into acid without knowing what she was doing.

"I don't see rain and its not like anything bad has happened" he said the looking at her fingers for some reason noticed they were not simply skin and bone "wow whats up with your fingures?" he asked completley interested.

Maleia just cocked her head to the other side"What do you mean?"

"look at your fingers" he said "its like your melting but you just gave me an awesome Idea" for my next piece of art.

Maleia looked down,and simply said"Acid.This gives you an idea?"

"yea the look, It looks as if your a wet painting" he said and ran and got his art pad and started drawing her acidy hand.

Maleia raised her brow"What are you doing?"She asked still looking at her hands.

"drawing your hand, it looks awesome, well if you haven't seen it before" he said showing her what he had so far "if you dont want me to I wont show anyone else" quickly turning it back to continue his drawing.

She shook her head"I don't care it's not like it will do any harm.How wer you dicovered?"

"like my power? or my art?" he asked "if its the art, haven't yet" he said not looking up.

Maleia pulled her cloak over her head"What do you think,your powers.tell me all the details."

"umm, My parents kinda flipped when I didn't come up out of the water for almolst 30 minutes in our pool" he said in a kinda way that would say oh yea i did that and i got in trouble oops
