Melody leaned her head back on the arm of the bench, her feet across the other side. She was relaxed and staring at the sky, which was a bright, clear blue, without a cloud in sight. She needed to take a break from this school for a moment, and sitting in the entrance helped. She could imagine being on the other side, getting to see her friends, the beach an hour away from her house... She missed Texas. Sometimes this place felt like a prison, even though it shouldn't, it still did. She didn't quite get why- maybe the isolation from the rest of the world? Sometimes, she just wanted to go home.
It was nice out that day, with a slight breeze, and it was cool under the shade of a large tree. She glanced over at the rainbow spray of the drops of water from the fountain as it descended downward into the large pool. She began humming a song that had been stuck in her head the last couple of days. She didn't care if anyone walked by and noticed, she was in her own little world and cherished ever second of it.

Sun brought warmth and light to many. It sat up high in the sky sometimes playing peek-a-boo with the clouds, but on a day like this, where the sun was high and there were no clouds to play such childish games. Teegan couldn't pass up the chance of sitting outside with days like this a rare treat. So here the small girl sat, upside down on a bench, her head where her feet should be and her feet where her head should be. Her face was turning red from all of the blood rushing to it, while her hair swayed freely, brushing the ground lightly.
She heard a faint humming in the background and suddenly she felt rather drousy, letting out a stiff yawn. It didn't even occur that she was in the presence of another person, she was just... So... Tired.

Melody toke a moment to focus on her surroundings for just a moment, leaning her head way back to peer at the other person in the small area. She looked familiar, but not completely. Melody knew that she had seen this girl around school, but wasn't certain of her name or anything about her.
In quite a talkative mood now, Melody sat up and slid off the seat. She walked over to the bench Teegan was at and stood behind it for a moment before bending over and looking at the girl. "I don't think that's good for you. Just saying." She joked lightly, a tentative smile on her face.

Teegan was nearly completely asleep, when all of a sudden a blonde head popped in front of her head. She talked too, in a smooth voice that reminded the girl of ice. Completely off guard the girl let out a high pitched scream before rolling off the bench and landing on her knees. She had seen a move like this once and of course her first time trying aced it smoothly.
Teegan stumbled up onto her feet and stood there staring at this girl with wide eyes. Her face was bright red and her heart was racing. She knew who this was, oh yes only to well. This was Melody, Nathaniel's georgous girlfriend she had hid froml heard about. Did she know that Nathaniel's had called her pretty? Teegan had heard Melody was pretty violent when she was angry and her fingers were crossed Melody hadn't chosen know to rip her face off.
So there Teegan stood, her cheeks flushed, her eyes wide, and her stance awkward. She winced a little as she looked at the blonde, please not the face!

Melody toke a surprised step backwards. What did she do? Was it something she said? Why did this girl seem scared of her? Teegan looked shocked, with bright red cheeks and wide eyes. She seemed so frightened, and Melody felt horrible for it. What ever she did. Because she honestly didn't know. "Ohmygod, I'm so sorry! Did I scare you? Of course I did. I shouldn't have said anything." She shook her head sadly, bringing her fingers in front of her lips nervously.
Melody didn't recognize the girl, and had no anger towards her. If she did hear that Nathaniel had called her pretty, how would she have reacted? Actually, Melody probably wouldn't care. Because it wasn't like they did anything, right? And Teegan seemed nice enough. Plus, she was torturing herself enough with worry.
"I'm sorry." She added, just to be safe.
