| Luckily for ya'll, Eb remembered the jist of that post that disapoofed.
Taylor took her words of affirmation encouragingly, allowing himself to work a little faster. It was by far easier especially since he wasn't thrashing around or doing anything else in protest. "Okay, I think..." He started to talk slowly to Melody as he got to the worst part. It had been hard to tell until she had washed the blood away, but he had wondered what to do about the entirely missing eyesocket. His other eye, tgough not neccesarily his sight, certainly could be saved, but this... The young man saw the naucious look on his friend's face and told himself he could finish the work, taking the wasrag from her, pink from the waterdowned blood, and wiped his face clean; adding stinging cleasures on top of the eound carefully as well so the injuries had less chance of getting infected. All this he had seen Melody do before, but nothing like this. It was kinda depressi.g. Or very. And he wondered how this guy had the spirit to talk and joke the way he did withthe wounds he sustained. "Stay still please! It's just a twisted ankle!" Taylor moved quickly to settle him back down, grabbing bandages and beginning to wrap them around his head and over his wounds, mostly over his eyes.
On le other hand, Nathan had noticed when Mel had openly froze, and could easily guess the reason as to why she had. It wasn't really fair that he knew about her and her mother and her home, but he'd never returned the favor? But he quickly dropped the thought. Now really wasn't the time for that. Nathaniel was flew in very quixkly and had gotten down low so he was leveled with the cot and out of the way. He didn't really see the massive damage his brother had really taken, and for that reason he didn't pay much mind to the winces of the nurses or much else. Just... He knew what had happened to Josh's close friends here. And lord have mercy to whayever did this when Nate found it, but... "Really? Out of everything you can bitch about...?" He asked with a somewhat sarcastic muse.

| Josh fake-punched him in the side. "Just wait until you have one." e-e | |

| Nate easily dodged out of the way, "Yeah, we'll see. Unlike you, I'm not stupid enough to walk off in the middle of the night and - ..." Eh, no need to finish that sentence. It had started out as a joke, but he was partially seriously. Why, Josh, whyyy? D: | |

| Melody nodded in approval as Taylor finished up the stitches. "Good job." She murmured, crimson eyes on Joshua's single violet one. It was so sad, what happened to him. He had been gone for so long, and she didn't even bother looking- true, no one really did, but she was friends with him, and roommates, for God's sake. Guilt shot through her heart, ice cold and electric. Remembering that half the people currently in the room could sense her emotions, she suddenly felt exposed. She covered her chest with her arms without realizing it, as if maybe that would stop them from seeing into her soul. Jeez Mel, you'd think with a empathic roommate and boyfriend, you'd be used to it. But no, it still urked her. "Wait. How'd you get so lost looking for a single book in the bushes?" She questioned quietly in a startled tone. Her mind wrapped around that, and suddenly came up with a more pressing matter- what was out on the school grounds that could have done that to him? She bit her lip in discomfort as she thought this through. She needed to tell someone right away. This was bad. Very bad. | |

| Taylor dipped his head ever-so gently, "T-thank you." He muttered and started cleaning up the mess the mess they'd made dressing his wounds around the bed. By the looks of it, those bandages would have to be changed again within' the hour. He would sure Melody would be busy now, since she was actually working and one of the more important nurses. The boy guessed he'd just have to be the one to watch Joshua. Welp, there went his free weekend, not that he minded too much, though honestly, he wasn't doing anything all too amazing. And, having seen what happened to this guy, Taylor wasn't all too keen on going out on his own for a while anyways.
Nathaniel hadn't had much to say for a bit, flickering his gaze up at Melody as she felt the sharp pang of guilt hit her, and he looked rather ashamed as she tried to hide it, as futile as that effort would be. Mel, that has to be the lousiest soul protect I've ever seen - /shot. Quietly, he placed his fingers lightly on her arm, just to grab her attention. "It's not your fault." He muttered, loud enough for her to hear, but so low that Taylor and Josh would have to strain themselves to understand the words. If anything, it was Nate's burden to carry. They were blood, for Christ's sake. And now look what happened. That was an excellent question, though, and what grabbed at his attention. There were only two propositions that Nate could come up with. "Well, you either really were being stupid..." He thought out slowly, "Or whatever did this is..." Because surely, something terrible enough to do this would be enough to send anyone running for the hills for a while? Oh, Lord. No, it couldn't be here. That was impossibru. Nathan was wrong again. Right? Right. Haha? ;u;

| Sadly, not right. e-e
"I kind of remember what the little shit looked like, I might be able to sketch something if you give me some paper." he mumbled.
