The Third Class

Maleia was swept to the ground by the scythe. Her Halberd was in the air falling close to where Lilac was. She aimed a kick at Lilac, knowing the Halberd would distract her.

Lilac grinned at her successful move. Though, she saw the Halberd slicing through the air above her. She raised her arms up to catch it, but something made her fall right onto her rear. She gave a grunt, dazed. The Halberd clattered to the ground a few feet away from her, and she began to crawl to it, turned slightly so she could jab at Maleia if she got close.

Maleia had got up when Lilac hit the floor. She picked up the Halberd, and aimed a blow to her hand.

Lilac shrieked as the Halberd skimmed her hand, blood pouring from her palm. Drawing her hand back, she took her scythe and glared at her. She used her scythe to help her up from her vulnerable position. Quickly, she tried to avoid the sharp point of the Halberd and rushed right up to Maleia, scythe aimed to her shoulder.

Maleia flipped the Halberd once more. She quickly hit the scythe away with the axe part, but her shoulder had a deep cut.

The scythe's handle had a large cut in it, and she tried to ignore it, but it made her wobble to the side unevenly. Plus, her hand didn't help that much as the blood trickled down her arm. Lilac jumped back, taking a few moments to regain her breath. She pressed her feet deeply into the ground in a defensive brace as she recovered her breath.

Maleia rushed in holding the Halberd over her head, in an effort to slice down her face. She wouldn't stop that easy. Even though she was already out of breath.

Bad move. Since she was in a defensive stance and the axe began to fall, hoping to rip off her face, Lilac used her scythe to deflect the attack, pushing her back with a foot. She smiled softly and gave a small sigh. She stepped forward, holding her scythe tighter. She shielded her face with it, hoping to stop the next incoming attack midway.

Maleia stumbled back almost falling. She did the same as Lilac did. If she couldn't hit her, she would wait it out.

Lilac raised a brow. Two could play at that game! She decided to race at her angrily, scythe still held away from her, shielding. She hoped they could collide, and maybe she could use her power or get some kicks or punches in the fight.

ooc: we can use powers right now?

Maleia sat there, waiting for the strike. She had caught her breath, waiting so long. Then Lilac started to run to her. She just stood there like a statue.

Ooc: Yeah xD

Ic: Lilac rammed into her, hopefully blowing her back. Narrowing her eyes, she pressed her feet heavily into the ground so she, herself, wouldn't drag backward when Maleia fought back.

Maleia was pushed back, falling to the ground. She Held her hand out, ready to spray her acid.

Lilac noticed this, eyes wide, and she quickly aimed her foot at her hand, hoping to slam it to the ground. Her other foot dug deep into the ground, shakily keeping her stable.

Maleia kicked Lilac's hand, and knowing her chance, she let her acid run free. Hoping it hit her.

Lilac screeched in pain as the acid sizzled into her skin. It burned! It stung! It was excruciatingly painful! Lilac crashed her scythe handle into the ground for extra stability as she used both of her feet. The girl, unable to hold back tears, brought back her foot and started swinging it back toward Maleia's face or hand hoping to hit her before she, herself, got hit.

Maleia's hand got hit, breaking the chance of her shooting the acid again. Maleia took the swinging foot, and pulled it towards her, sweeping Lilac off her feet. Maleia got up to her feet, with a small smile. Now that Lilac was on the ground, Maleia picked up the Halberd, and pointed it at her.

Lilac, however, still had her scythe steadily stuck into the ground. She tried to evade the sharp point of the Halberd. She used her foot to try to kick the Halberd away from her face. Little did she know that they were dangerously close to the edge.

Maleia's Halberd was flown across the platforf by the kick, so she put her foot on Lilac's chest, pushing harder every second.

Lilac felt air escaping her lungs. Quickly, she grasped the scythe that she still had, and that was still fastened in the ground, and whipped it at Maleia, precious air leaving Lilac by the moment.

Maleia flung her head back, but only to be caught by the blade on her stomach. She staggered back, blood falling on the platform. She started to walk over to the Halberd, only to turn back at Lilac.

Lilac took that chance to inhale a mouthful of air. That was when she stood and closed her eyes, a bright light omitting around her, and she began to breathe easily.

Maleia just turned to Lilac. She had had enough of her fighting, for now. She just shot more acid her.

At the last moment, her eyes flashed open, and she held her hand out. The Halverd only hovered a small fraction of a second and jerked towards Lilac, aiming to trip Maleia backwards. Lilac had wished lightly to recover the Halberd to herself, but being such a novice, it didn't work out the way she planned. She gave a howl of pain at the acid that ate through the side of her neck.

Maleia started to walk towards Lilac, when something pulled her down. She was on her back out of breath.
