The Third Class

Lilac bent down to pick up the Halberd, but then she tossed it out of the ring. Lilac gave a soft smile. "Mmmbai!" and with that, she swept Maleia out of the ring with her scythe. She shakily fell to her knees, trying to close out the pain.

She was mad at this, but she wouldn't hold it against Lilac. She walked to the edge of the platform, and said" good match. Oh, and sorry for the acid."

Nathan watched in surprise, "She lost?" He had known what Maleia was capable of and was surprised that a little girl like Lilac could defeat her. A solemn look suddenly grew on his face; making a note not to underestimate anyone here.

Maleia walked to the back of these people, happy that she lost. Her anger was just pushed out with happiness

Lilac tried to stand. "Yeah, you too. And it's fine. It.. umm..." Her words trailed away. How was she supposed to compliment something that literally ate at her skin!? She just gave a nod of respect for her power, but said nothing more. A small rise of surprise from the audience made Lilac look up, trying very hard to not pay attention to he seething pain everywhere. She staggered out of the ring.

"Lilac will advance to the next round." Alex announced. He looked at the acid burning away at the girl. She won't last. he thought to himself, marking her name down for Round 2. "Next is Alexi Miller and Violet Hayes."

Alexi nearly jumped after hearing his name. Him?! And Violet!? That girl was much younger than himself, and so much smaller. Al felt like he might just back down at that moment, when next to him a thirteen year old version of himself popped up. He gave him a reassuring smile, and grabbed his arm. The Alexi automatically knew what the boy was thinking. He could fight most of the fight, and it still counted as Al. The boy was barely taller than Violet. It could work. Alexi would just throw him the boomerang occasionally. They stepped onto the platform. They were as ready as they'd ever be.

Violet's face burned bright red. She timidly stepped up to the platform, gripping her boomerang. There was no way she could win. Alexi was older, stronger, and way better at using a boomerang then she was. To make it worse, Alexi had been so nice to her in the previous class; the last thing Violet wanted to do was hurt him. She did her best to keep herself from shrinking out of fear but she ended up shrinking about half an inch anyway. Violet just wished she could somewhere else right now. Anywhere else. She couldn't get her arms to stop shaking.

Alexi-13 frowned as the small girl shrunk a bit. Now he was much taller than her. That wasn't very fair. Al didn't want to make the first move, so he stood still waiting for her. He'd even practiced hand-to-hand combat with himself (XD) a few times, and was decent at it. This made him afraid he might hurt her too much. She must be very fragile.

Violet stood with her feet frozen to the ground, still trembling. She waited for Al to make the first move, not really knowing how to start a fight.

Al-13 was getting frustrated, neither Alexi or the girl were going to move. So in one quick flash, he grabbed Al's boomerang, threw it at the girl with a great force, and headed towards her to get in a few hits.

Alexi watched this for a second before it registered in his mind. He had made the first move. His eyes went wide as his boomerang went towards the girl, ready to knock her and maybe give her a bruise. He flashed. Like, his body flashed ice cold, and then he was back. He wasn't afraid. He dived to grab his boomerang when it returned to him, and was ready to roll into the fight if he needed to.

With a high pitched squeal, Violet moved boomerang in front of her face as Al's boomerang crashed into her own and fell to some place on the floor somewhere. Violet saw the 13 year old Al rushing at her and she hastily back peddled a few steps, not knowing what else to do in a situation like this. She watched Al advanced with fear shining in her eyes.

Al-13 didn't hear Alexi shout. Al was afraid of hurting her now, she had barely missed a bad bruise by using her own boomerang as defense, but how would she handle this? Alexi-13 grabbed the fallen boomerang, slid to the ground, and hooked Violet's ankles.

The second Al-13's boomerang came in contact with Violet's skin, the boomerang shrunk so that it was not bigger than Violet's fist. Violet looked down at the miniature boomerang with wide eyes. She had almost forgotten she could shrink things. She opened her mouth to apologize for shrinking Al's weapon but then she remembered she was fighting him. She quickly snatched up the small boomerang and swung her own full sized boomerang at Al-13.

Al-13 was hit hard in the face. The blow made him groan, and suddenly, Alexi wasn't afraid of hitting the tiny girl. He instantly dropped in, and swept her feet out from under her, hoping to knock the wind out of her, and push her off the platform.

Violet hit the ground hard. She gasped for breath and groaned a little. She quickly got to her feet, though, and dashed away from Al-13. She turned to face her opponent when Al's boomerang suddenly grew back to normal size. Gripping the two boomerangs, she got into a defensive position and waited for Al's next move.

Angered by her speed, Al-13 still down, Alexi advanced. He was fast as well, and managed to get into her, kicking at her knees, to knock her back over, and this time standing so she would be able to get away.

With a high pitched, "Eep," when Al surprise attacked her, Violet fell to the ground, landing hard. She looked up at Al with fear in her eyes, and she clumsily started scrambling to get back onto her feet.

Suddenly startled, but not skipping a beat, Al placed his foot on Violet's stomach. He snarled as Al-13 came up next to him, an obvious bruise on his face. Alexi shook his head, and pushed the girl with his foot, making her slide near the edge of the platform. She never made it off.

Violet gasped for breath when Al's foot came crashing down on her stomach. She instinctively dropped one of the boomerangs and grasped Al's ankle. Her legs and other arm were flailing a little bit when Al pushed her near the edge. She imagined herself falling of the edge and landing on her head. She shuddered when she looked up at the two Al's hovering over her and with a last ditch effort she swung her arm with the boomerang still clutched in her hand at Al's shin.

Al instantly felt the pain, but his reaction was late. For a split second, he didn't realize he hadn't pushed her off, and then that she'd tried to hit him. And did. No sound came out of him, but he instantly fell to the ground, and Alexi-13 took up the job. He grabbed the fallen boomerang, and launched it directly at her face. He knew it couldn't miss, it was too fast.

Violet let out a quick, fearful scream when Al-13 swung his boomerang at her face. The boomerang struck her on the right side of her forehead. Violet groaned in pain as scrambled to her feet holding her hand to her head. She felt a lump forming on her head and warm blood trickled down the side of her face. She spun around and began to dart away from the Als, over to the other side of the platform.

Alexi was still on his knees, and was trying to stand up. Taking the time that the girl gave them, Al-13 helped him up, and retrieved his boomerang. He threw it towards Violet again, hoping to knock her off her feet again.

Violet turned around just in time for Al's boomerang to smack her in the right rib-cage. With another quick screech, Violet was knocked to the ground on the very edge of the platform. Between the pain from her ribs and her forehead, plus being scared out of her mind from the whole situation, Violet couldn't stop the tears from flowing and her breath started coming in quick gasps. Violet clumsily started scrambling to her feet again. She was beginning to consider giving up.

Al watched as the boomerang hit the girl in the ribs, both of them were sure the boomerang was going to hit her legs. Al-13 cringed as it hit her ribs, and knew it was about time to stop. They both stood still, waiting to see what she'd do. Alexi-13 calmly picking up the boomerang, handing it to Al, and vanishing. Al could do this on his own if she kept fighting.
