Frosty, overjoyed purred and rammed into the tuna, before chomping it up.

Melody froze, and her chin heated up where Nathaniel touched it. She blushed a deep crimson whenever he kissed her, and she frowned. "Damn you, Nate!" She growled, turning away. Looking around, she grabbed a handful of sand and tossed it at him, making sure it didn't hit his eyes. Because it's a dream, and she can do that.
Laughing, she scrambled to her feet and ran towards the water, ignoring his hand. Considering that there was no boat for wake-boarding, she splashed into the imaginary water and turned to Nate, a playful grin on her face.

Coming up behind the unsuspecting Frosty was the crab, back to terrorize the little kitten. It crept behind the small one and raised it's claw near her fluffy tail. laughing ebily.

Nathan laughed and put his hands forward, flinching from the sudden spray of sand coming his way. "I regret nothing!" He jumped up on his feet and chased after her, a shock going his body as soon as he touched the water. "Jesus, that's cold!" he hissed through his teeth, yet still he smiled. Nathaniel loved to swim, he supposed he was just a little too used to the heated pools. he first leaned down, trying to splash her with the cold ocean water before eventually giving up and tackling her into the water. "Got'cha!" he shouted as he dragged her down.

Frosty yowled out in surprise and batted at the monstrous creature of terror. She had to protect her fish! :U Soon, the small kit was chasing after the crab, hissing and jumping from side to side. She didn't notice as another large crab strolled up, toke her bowl and trolled away going trolololol.

Melody cried out as he pounced, but it was replaced by laughter. "Seriously?!" She demanded, shoving him back. Wet hair clung to her cheeks, and on her neck and back. Water glistened on her skin as she shoved a stray strand from her eyes. "Not cool! You don't tackle girls!" She laughed, a little winded.

And so, the larger crab scuttled away a while mile an hour with that piece of tuna on his back, starting to head out and stumble over the skittled-sand; hoping for the little crap to distract Frosty as long as it could. The little crap was running away in the opposite direction, making little squeaking noises.

Nate rose back to the surface, spitting out some out the salty water, "Gross." he muttered, not expecting it when Mel had shoved out. "Hey!" Nathaniel pushed her back playfully, "It was more of glomp?" He defended himself, laughing. He glanced back where the waves were getting bigger, tempted to go father out.

Nooooh. D8 the jellyfesh!

Frosty turned back a moment, to see if her Tuna was safe, whenever she noticed that it was gone completely. Damn you, mister crab. D8< She squeaked and left the smaller creature, desperately chasing the large crab down.

"Oh, so that automatically makes it right?" Mel challenged, before she looked up in thought, crossing an arm around her chest and the placing the other under her chin. "Oh wait, it does, doesn't it?" She frowned. "I guess love really does hurt." She murmured in thought, before following his gaze. "Do you want to go out?" She asked, pointing at the gathering waves beyond.

Because she was totally talking about the sea. D; *shot*

The larger crab had thought that it would escape with safety and did not think to turn around until it heard paws pouncing against the sand. Having caught sight of Frosty chasing him down HE SHIFTED INTO MAXIMUM OVERDRIVE, his little legs started to scuttle faster and faster to get away.

"Yeah, actually -" He had started to say before she finished for herself. Nathaniel's face grew soft for a moment, "Couldn't have hurt that badly?" he said, getting close to Melody and chaining her arm with his, he started backing deeper into the ocean, nodding his head to her later question happily. Oh yus, clearly they were both talking about the ocean, or at least he thought that's what she meant; in the back of his mind he started thinking of the perfect time and place for such a question. "You can swim, right?"

Melody's eyes widened as she shook her head. "No, I'm fine. It was just startling, that's all." She reassured him, with a soft smile of her own. She looked down at their interlocked arms and nodded. "Of course I can." She replied, just a little offended.
Melody remembered swimming in the backyard as a child, and coming to the beach to swim.
Though, at the beach she was a little more scared, what, with all the jellyfish, and sharks and all. Then the girl remembered that this was all a dream, and they wouldn't be there if the didn't want them.

Speaking of dreams, Frosty wished that she had her Tuna back! She raced after the crab, but as soon as it scuttled away faster, she slowed down, panting. Her Tunnnnna! ;____; Frosty yowled out in despair, before borrowing her face in the Skittle-covered sand. At least it tasted good. ;n;

Nathaniel simply turned his back to her and nodded, worried that she might think he doted on her too much, but also afraid that he might mess up somehow. He got closer to her as the waves reached up high, near above their waists now. "So you consider this love, then?" Nate asked by her ear, thinking back to her thoughts on his tackle into the water. He was not at all worried from the threats of jellyfish or shark, as he wasn't exactly sure if they lived in every beach or this certain one.

Having had heard someone's yowl of disappointment, a large friend rushed across the beach, kicking the bowl off of the crab's back and having it land nearly in front of little Frosty; he then went on to kick the thief into the ocean, for the luls.

Frosty's eyes widened. Her hero! Her savior! Wait, was that...? Geeeooorge! She purred and raced after the creature, tripping on the tuna and landing in the sand once again. She scrambled to lick her paws and then stumbled back up before running up to the unicorn's hooves. Frosty closed her eyes and rubbed against George's back leg.

Melody's eyes widened and she again blushed. "I- I wouldn't say that. I mean, it's not that I don't like you, it's just- I mean, I do. Wait, what? Um.. Yes? Wait, no.. Yes?" She stammered, her blush growing. How many times were they going to break each other, Ebs? How many?! DD8 *shot*

He laughed lightly, holding against a large oncoming wave. "You don't need to answer." Nathan told her, his face a few inches away from her, making it easier to talk over the ocean; it was really a question that he couldn't answer himself, so there was little expectation for Melody too. Perhaps, in time. At this point they were far enough out that Nate found it fun to jump with the large waves growing just before they hit their peek. because that's like the funnest part of swimming in le ocean, imo. |D /shot. i feel like i'm falling short on something in this post. D:

George turned his neck down and glanced around at Frosty. He spun around and prodded the little kitten with his nose happily (don't ask me how he got there caus idk. |D ) and lifting his head back up. The creature flicked his gaze over and seeing the smallest crab coming back for the fish.

Melody's eyes widened, before they narrowed in annoyance. "Then why'd you ask?" She demanded over the shouting of the sea. Truth was, she had no fucking idea what she felt- aside from the prominent fact that she liked him, even when he annoyed the crap out of her. She looked away, avoiding his gaze as she thought for a moment. Melody began to think that this artificial sun was growing to bright and she decided to slam her body into an upcoming wave. It knocked her over and sent her into the water, and Mel shut her eyes as the wave pulled on her for a moment. Then she shakily stood above the surface with a laugh, glancing back at Nate.

Frosty purred, and turned back to her tuna. She planned on giving the unicorn a piece to show her thanks- kind of like how a cat leaves dead animals on the front step. Seeing the crab, she hissed and shot off toward the fish. Her fur was at end and she appeared to be more than twice the size of the little creature, hoping to scare it.

He simply snickered, she looked so cute when she was pissed at him~ /shot. "Off chance you'd say yes?" he offered to her over the roar of the sea. He ran his hands through his hair, slicking it back; in such a moment, there wasn't a lot of words that could be offered. Nathaniel dove under the surface and swum against the,curremt, reappearing behind the wave... And Melody. He smiled, getting the oh-so bright idea to try and scare her.

George whinnied happily at Frosty, hapoy to take up the small kitten's little gift,, then catxhinf eye of the small crab, seeing how it distressed Frosty so. Thes unicorn charged forward, planning to atleast crush the creature if nothing else. Maybe that's why Nate likes unicorns... They're magic and have powerful limbs, able to go on for days without tire, and had horns to pierce through the bodies of their foes, and still look magestic in the end. Yeah, little crabs stood no chance.

Melody didn't reply. She looked in front of her, admiring the Skittle'd shore. The girl looked up and saw George, as well as a small cat; Frosty. She laughed at the unicorn, not noticing Nathaniel just behind her.

The small crab dived out of the way of George's stomping, aiming for Frosty's nose in one last fight for revenge. >:U

Nate looked at the beach funny. Huh, how did he find his way back here? Shaking the thoughts away quickly, he went back to his original genius plan; shouting and grabbing Melody by the shoulders and pulling her back, dunking her under the water. Tired post is tired. cx

Frosty squeaked in surprise. She reacted fast, jabbing the creature off her nose, but it was to late. There was a... scratch. ;__; She let out a little cry of pain, before walking in a crooked circle and falling over. She looked up at George, a sad expression on her kitty features. Melodramatic, much? xD

Melody cried out something along the lines of, "Aah! Nate you son of a bi- aldkfjslkdjdkslsla." as she fell back into the water and panicked. Melody thrashed a little in the water before surfacing. "You suck!" She spat in desbelief as she shoved him back into the water with all her might- sending them both back into the salty sea.

Frosty is a little drama-llama. xD But she's so adorable, it's okay. ;w; George snorted and finally stomped the crab into dust... literally. The creature bent down and sniffed at the kitten, wondering if it was okay.

Nate laughed a little childishly, ignoring her sharp remarks. His eyes had been closed when she had pushed him back, making him near shout in surprise as he fell backwards, a large wave passing over them both as he hit the water. Nathan glared at her from under the water, though the look of amusement was still there, he brushed past her and started to make a swim for the shore.

Melody, reaching the surface of the water once again, and turned to face him. She frowned, a little scared that he was really mad. She shoved a strand of sodden hair from her face and walked after him slowly, pushing through the water.

Frosty's look seemed to say, Go on without me, George! ;__; She looked over at the crab- erm, what was left of it, and then jumped up. With her fur at end, she purred in victory.

When he had gotten close the short, the water lapping just under his knees, he spun around to face Melody. "Think you're so tough?" Nathaniel shouted at her, a grin on his face. His body and expression can only be described as, "come at me, bro!". A playful gleam was in his eyes.

George snorted happily and laid down in the said, resting his head down and getting eye level with Frosty, looking at her curiously.

Melody frowned and leaned back on one foot. She crossed her arms over her chest. "Yeah, but I'm not coming at you, bro." She retorted. She reached out her hand and beckoned forward with her pointer finger. "If you want a fight, you'll have to come get it." She taunted with a purr, her crimson eye mirroring the playfulness in his own golden ones.

Frosty turned to face George, her demeanor seemingly happy. She jumped up to him and swatted at his nose playfully. The monochrome kitten llet out a purr, as if in thanks.

As she talked, Nathaniel stood back up straight, crossing his own arms just as stubbornly. His mouth was swished to this side, looking at Melody with suspicion, her gesture drawing him in. It seemed like something Kali would do. D; Alright, what was this girl up too? Nate loosened up, "If you really insist," he smiled, walking through the water and jogging as it got deeper. He aimed to push her into the water as she had done to him.

The unicorn shook it's head, acknowledging Frosty's thanks, before poking the small kit gently with the tip of it's horn. EN GARDE. >:U

Frosty purred at the challenge, before accepting it joyfully. She crouched down, rolled on to her back and swatted at the creature's sword. I will defeat you!

Melody grinned, but didn't step aside. Instead, she peered at the fingers on one hand, impatiently waiting. Then she let out a laugh as he was near. Closing her eyes, she concentrated on a different place... Opening them once more, she looked around to see the familiar forest scene. Directly in front of her stood a tree, standing in front of Nate's path. Her eyes widened, but she didn't have time to say anything.

A stray thought passed through his mind as he was a few steps away from her. She seemed so casual, and why was she laughing? When the scenery changed suddenly, Nate tried to plant his feet into the ground, tripping awkwardly and almost running face first into the tree. He put his hands out and pushed against the park, instead, thankfully, falling to the side.
Nathan landed on one knee and glanced up around at Melody. A stubborn look on his face, he didn't take his eyes off his as he pounded at the ground in an earthbender-esque motion; The ground below Mel's feet raising a few feet in an instant and sending her shooting into the air.

George poked at the kitten's stomach playfully before the entire area changed, to which he glanced around in wonder before looking down at Frosty blankly. Da faq just happened? D8

Melody let out a high pitched cry of surprise as she shout into the air. She flailed in the air a moment longer than she would in the real world, before falling down with a ominous thump as she landed on her back. She arched it a second, grimacing, before rolling over and curling into the fetal position, facing her attacker. "Nice moves Avatar." She quipped hoarsely. Melody let out a soft whimper, but mostly to make Nathaniel worry. She was in a playful mood today~.

Frosty was, too. She cried out as she was poked and rolled to the side, feeling cool sand turn into the familiar forest setting. She stood, looking around, before happily padding over to Nathaniel and rubbing at his legs- a purr in her throat. Nate gets ALL the girls. ;D *shot*

Why, thank you~. He loves that show very much as a matter of fact -- wait, what? He quietly pet Frosty on the top of her head as Melody was launched into the air; he wasn't sure was ht expected. It was a dream, she was supposed to land on her feet or fall like she was landing on a soft bed of cotton... or something? Nathaniel hadn't expected such a harsh recoil, nor her little reaction. Normally he could just pick up on her emotions and see she was teasing him, then go on and mess with her further, but here he couldn't hardly pick up a thing. Easily, he thought she was serious and guilt washed over him. "Mel?" he called out a little awkwardly, crawling over to her. He had hardly noticed that the landscape around them was getting blurrier by the second, himself less aware.

Melody looked around, her eyes growing wide. She realized he was legitimately concerned- shouldn't he know that she was only kidding? What, with his ability to feel emotions and all? Was it possible that his power didn't work here? That made no sense, but just to be certain... "Na- nate?" She frowned, concern flashing in her eyes. "I'm fine- just over exaggerating. I'm okay, really." She reassured, a soft, uncertain smile on her lips. She barely noticed the forest around her fading fast, but when she did, she looked around in fear. "He-hey! What's going on?" She demanded, her voice surprised.
