| Saurin was already feeling uncomfortable, a large group of people, when they had been teleported he felt a bit dizzy, his ability was fine but this was stronger than his. He looked around the area, it suited him he thought, a good place to be alone. He spotted some familiar faces in the crowd, and tried to stay as close to the crowd as possible without freaking out in the large group. | |

| Leila saw the crowd and turned to Mayuri, severely uncomfortable. Her breathing picked up and he just sighed. "Calm down, Corpse, We know some people here, anyway." "Easy for you to say, Geekboy!" she whispered. "I have anxiety issues and nothing here looks dead! | |

| Rose moved closer to the group right before they were transported. When they came into the new realm she had the same light headedness she had gotten before.
James had been almost in the center of the group as they teleported. When in the new realm he looked around in awestruck seeing all the dark and dreary colors.

| Carter's heart raced as he looked around in fascination. He didn't feel the same ominous feeling coming off the area like some of the others, no. He instead was amazed by everything. The sky, the trees, even the ground. It was so different, and yet still similar to the world he lived in. Hearing a monstrous roar from far away, he almost smiled. And there was monsters to? He wondered what they would be like to fight- would they be hard to defeat? He was nearly sure of it, and this excited him. He loved a challenge. And so on, the questions and comments rang in his head, to the point where once again, he almost exploded from joy. Metaphorically, of course.
Melody, on the other hand, wasn't as happy as her classmate. She jumped at every sound, and nearly screamed whenever a roar or growl was heard. And the whispers. Oh the whispers, they nearly gave her a migraine, not to mention the fear it struck in her heart. The trees were pretty, she supposed, but also intimidating. She felt pathetic to be intimidated by some trees. As she waited to continue, her heart raced in anxiety, and she was already sweating. When did it get so humid? She wondered, touching her neck with her hand and finding perspiration. She tightened her ponytail and straightened her gray shirt and basketball shorts, trying to find something to do.

Alex looked at the area with a cold, yet curious longing. This place was an array of colors, mystery, and other things he couldn't even name right now. It was basically an artist's paradise . . some dark trick of the Fates kept him from bringing his canvas and paint here, but how he longed to . . .
. . no. That meant certain death. You don't just sneak onto the Island. It's forbidden. If you do, you die. That simple. But the texture of the strange leaves, the trees . . they were so inviting. He wanted to capture it. He would paint when he got to his dorm. But memory would only work so well.
Much like Melody, Trina was not doing so well. While she wasn't as jumpy, she definitely didn't trust this place or the majority of people in it. She wondered what the weather was like here . . . her mind wasn't always on her gift, but when it was, she got genuinely interested. She could imagine tropical storms leaving destruction in their wake, or the hurricanes that could ravage half of the island. She could only mimic a fraction of their power . . for now. She could get stronger, perhaps. Make more wind, lightning, rain . . What? That wasn't a good thought. Destruction was horrible. Storms were horrible. Why would she want to hurt others? She didn't think like that, not Katrina Millar. She was the pillar of benevolences, an example of conservative values.
So why did the wake of a storm seem so enticing? Was it her gift taking control of her psyche? Or was just a nutcase?
ooc: deep questions, maaaan.

| Lynn closed her eyes as they went through the portal, and slowly opened them again when they arrived and the queasiness went away. She blinked a couple of times, trying to get the foreign sunlight out of the way, and slowly her senses began to pick up the roars and the fresh air. It was like nothing she'd ever experienced before. She tried to take all the scenery in but it still puzzled her. What exactly was this place?
Alex stifled a laugh from all the mixed reactions of the students. He suspected that there would be less faces by the end of the day. The Island was a dangerous place.

| As the group appeared in what seemed to be a different realm, Sarah blinked her eyes to try to get used to her new surroundings. It was only when her eyes finally refocused did she suddenly seem consumed by new, strange things. Nothing was the same as it was just a few seconds ago. What happened to the place they were just at? Were they even on Earth anymore? With nerves engulfing her, she took a shy step away from the group in order to give herself more room so she could try to breathe steadily. Everything was jumbled in her head, and it didn't make any sense to her at all.
Sean had been quite surprised by the sudden change in scenery but quickly looked around in absolute amazement. He actually handled it a lot better than Sarah did. All he wanted to do was stay here and observe the new forest as he started drawing out ideas in his head as to how this place could inspire him in his painting. "This is fantastic," He breathed with a large smile on his face.

| Irene took a few steps back, brushing her short blonde hair out of her face. Her green eyes sparked with amusement at the many students, particularly the reactions of Al and Eric. "I expect next time you all come to class, though, to be in your uniforms. You can't very well study in shorts and loose clothing." The young woman hinted, eying a few students before leading them up the trail. "Come now, we have a very simple task for your first day." She near almost danced her way through the forest, not at all phased by the strange lingerings or the feeling of being watched. "There have been a few, little creatures that have been giving trouble to this area; They've strayed away from their normal hunting grounds, you see. They're a threat to the school grounds." Irene called behind her back, her scarf floating lightly behind as they walked uphill, the training grounds just coming into sight. She stayed silent until they had arrived, when they did, before them would lay a vast clearing, circular and free from any plant life for yards. It was mostly surrounded by the forest, but at the end opposite of the entrance was a large and elder building; so ancient one might even wonder how it was still standing. In the center of the clearing was a large cage-like shield, made of a dim-purple light, obviously a psychic container. In side were black dragon-like beings, with shades of colors that would fit perfectly into the forest around them. "Your task is to dispose of these creatures. Work together, see if you can try to figure out how." She smiled and began to raise her hand. The monsters inside let out shrill cries, banging against the psychic cage for freedom. It was clear they were angry. "One of us will step in if we absolutely must, be careful. Work together."Irene smile grew brighter, "Ready?" She raised her hand higher, the creatures inside grew even more restless. "Begin." She thrust her hand twords the ground, and in perfect sync, the shield came down with it. Irene stepped out of the way passively. The three dragons took their first steps out, spreading their limbs and letting out fierce roars. One of them turned their attention to the crowd of students and reared it's head back, conjuring a bright ball of ice, blue fire in it's jaws before firing it at the group. The two soon follower, attacking the same way at those who had scattered. Your task is to kill these three arseholes before they kill you. Work together and figure out the best tactics. 'n go! | |

She was always fast to act in times of crisis, that Katrina Millar. In fact, she may have been one of the first students to jump out of the way, and she was already formulating a plan in her mind. A well placed lightning bolt would definitely daze one of them, and she could manipulate the winds to make it nigh impossible to fly if they try . . . all she would need is a distraction, and she could pull it off. She was certain that the other students would either be brave or stupid enough to rush the beasts.
Alex was obviously one of these idiots . . . out of the two clones he had, two more popped out, leaving five red-headed boys in impractical clothing. They all smirked simultaneously, but Trina could tell they were visibly shaken. What good could a bit of martial arts and several teenage boys do to creatures such as these?
She loved her abilities. They were so practical, in so many ways. Fighting was only one plus . . . though she had never struck anything living before, she was planning on it today. Eyes flashing, she took a deep breath and closed the big blue orbs. She looked up into the sky, and a cloud began to darken . . no, two clouds. Three. A small patch in the sky was turning black slowly, and a drop of water fell onto Alex's nose. Trina willed it to happen, and so it did; with a deep breath, a lightning bolt rippled through the sky, with the hopes of hitting the first dragon.

| Melody screeched, darting from the blast. Good thing she was fast, and even better thing that, being as scared she was, she nearly relied purely on instinct at the moment. I can't sing- it would knock everyone out, and we would all die. That isn't the answer, and besides, it probably wouldn't work on the dragons. Her head spun, but she knew that there was truly nothing she could do aside from trying to stay alive.
Guns. Fire. I need range. Carter thought. He had already been at the side of the group, and acted completely calm as he watched the beasts, unlike his classmate. He calculated a plan, watching Trina and Alex already react. He needed to too. I can only use fire and guns to attack at the moment- I sure as hell am not going to run up them. But we need to work together, and come up with a worthy plan of the beasts defeat in time. He closed his eyes and focused a moment, before opening them and looking down with pride at a big arse flamethrower. The creature's fire looked like ice too, so maybe this'll distract it long enough for the others to do something... He aimed his totally awesome weapon at the middle dragon and fired- of course, no one else could see his weapon, it not actually being there, they could possibly see a faint outline if the looked hard enough, but the dragon could, and it could definitely feel it too.
Meanwhile, Melody had come up with a fair outline herself- of a plan. "Guys, we need to work together!" She called, as if they didn't know already.

| "C'mon guys we can do this!" Saurin teleported into the air behind the first dragon and for the first time, he pulled out from a holster a large sleek black pistol. "You're mine!" He shouted, unloading three shots into its neck, all causing miniature explosions in the process, but barely harming the dragon. He landed on the ground behind the dragon and teleported to its front. "Tough bastard..." | |

| Al was awed by the building behind the area, but then was soon completely distracted when the dragons were let loose. He jumped back, running off. His ability was useless. He could duplicate himself younger and older. The older ones might be able to do something, but it would be useless, they would eventually disappear from exhaustion of his ability.
Lou suddenly felt useless as the beasts were let out, and Felix jumped on one. She nearly jumped after him, but knew it was hopeless. He was on his own. Her ability wouldn't help him.

| Lynn's eyes grew wide as the dragons were released. She wondered what she could do. She didn't want to try freezing the dragons in time, they seemed too powerful and she didn't want to risk her being overwhelmed. Thinking fast she slowed herself down. Everything seemed to move in slow motion for her. To everyone else, things seemed to move normally. But not for her. She could see every movement the dragons and the students made. Now was the challenge of actually trying to do something with these surperior reflexes. | |

| rose's eyes went huge i cant do anything without being killed she thought and quickly moved away from the dragons, she would be much more help on the ground away from the worst danger.
James noticed how everyone was surprised by the dragons, didn't they remeber that the headmaster had told them there would be some things out there? If only he could get at least one dragon into the water then he would be just fine.

| The second he saw the dragon open his mouth, and the blue-ish color appear in the back of his throat, he moved. He sped off to the edge of the group, and began formulating a plan, his mind working like a machine. He figured somebody's powers could easily harm the dragons, or at least stun them, so he figured with his abilities being ever so under developed, he'd be a better distraction than a fighter.
"I'll cause a distraction. I'm hard to hit, strike while they are distracted!" Eric called out to no one in particular. He raced up to one dragon, fast enough that even he was a blur of color as he moved, and with the same speed, punched a dragon in the leg. It didn't have a huge effect, but the speed caused the punch to be more noticeable. Against huge dragons? He'd be lucky if it left a bruise. But his purpose was to distract, and he hoped that was what it would do. He began punching the dragon in the leg like rapid fire, as he had practiced before, hands a blur as he striked repeatedly, though he kept an eye on the dragon itself, waiting for it to move, so that he could at least try to jump out of the way before it killed him.
Then, while he was fighting, his mind remembered his daggers in his pocket. He pulled the pair out, and began stabbing rather than punching. They were no more than 6 inches long, so they didn't harm the beast much more than what he was doing. But these broke the scales and skin where he had softened it from so many punches. Then, after a few jabs, he ran back to the group and waited. His hands were cut up from punching so many times, but he hardly felt it through his exhilaration. Of course, he was afraid too. He didn't want to die, but he was positive the dragons would have a tough time catching him. By himself? Of course, he could be easily exterminated. But among so many of his friends, or class mates at least, he was confident they could overwhelm him.
He just wasn't sure at what price. What faces would be gone when today was over.

Sarah, upon seeing the large beasts, took a shaky step backwards in the direction of the forest. She didn't know how much she could help the situation despite possibly turning to some small woodland creature as a distraction which could possibly end her life in a split second. Glancing around frantically, she tried to find something that could help but couldn't really find much except for a few sticks and some dirt. If only she could turn into something larger, but that took a lot more focus of energy that: one, she didn't have and two, couldn't control.
Sean, as soon as the raging dragons stepped out of their cage, reached for the first thing he could grab onto which was, of course, a small stick. Looking at his make-shift "weapon", he sighed. What could he do with this? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. His ability wasn't even useful in this kind of situation. Now, if it were a mind trick, he could deal with that easily...
