The First Class

Irene watched with crossed arms and slit eyes, noting quietly while there was the call to work together, still they separated and attacked the creature individually. They were talented, and it might work, but for how long was the question.

Nathaniel thought purely out of instinct, narrowly dodging the sharp fires of the first dragon, jumping out of the way with a groan. It frustrated him. He could feel everything around him, the people's fear and shock... their urgency and bravery, and for a few their calm composure and sheer jolt of courageous stupidity... but knowing the feelings of others wouldn't do a damn thing to help take down these creatures. Hell, he could hardly take on the 'clonester' as it was. The only way he could survive this fight was to stay out of the way and hope for the best. And so he did.

"Look out!" he shouted and dived out of the way as the next creatures attacked.

The first dragon conjured a few more balls of icey fire in it's jaws, not as powerful as his first, but deadly none-the-less. The creature first shot them at Alexs' clones, throwing all of it's attention at the multiple threats, almost as to be expected by a few certain students. As the lightning split the air, it paralyzed the first, only allowing it to cry out in pain and watch as strange colored bullets shot into it's chest. It let out yet another shrill call of pure ferocity, being hit in the neck by another opponent. The moment the dragon saw Sauren teleport in front of his, the creature broke out of it's paralysis and bent down, grabbing the boy by the leg and shaking him before tossing him through the side of the clearing.

While the other two, being left alone and shooting flames at their enemies, kept to their own attacks; The first and largest easily shook the young woman that climbed on it's head, but as he was distracted and still jolted, he could do little to protect his eyes. While they were normally protected by horns, normally others could not get up close, and for that reason it's eyes were one of it's weak points. The creature was shortly blinded and throw the young man to the side.

Attacked by Eric, the dragon was thrown into a blind fury literally. It's swung the entire force of it's body and attempted to blow the boy with the blade away with his tail. It shriek and started throwing fire blasts in every directions; at the sky, at the students, even those of it's same species.

The two other dragons, to better avoid their pained brother, took to the air. Their fire rained down from the sky and at the classmates as the circled the clearing.

The earth Guardian sniffed and watched the largest dragon, seeing it struggle on the ground."Finish it off."

Maleia rushed to the dragon on the ground,then shot her acid at it's face,hoping it would distract the dragon long enough for the others to join,and finish it off.

rose finally got the courage and grabed a large stick and running behind the one on the ground stabed it with as sharp stick multiple times hoping that somehow she would find a soft spot between its scales.

James noting that everyone (almost) was in the battle, grabbed a few rocks and tried throwing them at the flying dragons hoping for a distraction for one to come back down.

Maleia's acid was stopping"That won't work."she said to them in a weak voice.

Saurin appeared beside Maleia. "If you can keep going, distract it a bit more, we need to work together to kill the other two." He jumped back and unloaded a few rounds at the dragons flying overhead. "Keep focused everyone, we must not exert ourselves to much less we all die here tonight!" He laughed silently. Oh the thrill of a fight.

Cadey winced, hitting a tree. If she used her power, she might kill someone. She threw herself at another dragon, trying to drive her fingers in it's eyes.

Lynn would have agreed to these words, excecpt in her slowed down state all she heard was a very deep inaudible voice slurring together sluggish noises.

The fire guardian gazed up at the remaining dragons. "This is going to take forever." he said with a sigh.

IC: Melody screeched at the top of her lungs as a fireball zoomed towards her. She had just enough time to jump away as it nearly grazed her leg, and she could feel the slight sting of a burn. Looking down, she saw that her skin was red, but the adrenaline removed any serious pain at the moment. She glanced at Cadey, and came up with an idea instantly- a good one at that, if it would work. "Cadey!!" She called, trying to gain her attention, which might not be the best idea with the position the girl was in. "Can you scream in it's ear?" She asked. If Cadey could be quiet enough, then Mel figured it would only effect the dragon. And if Melody could somehow only effect the two flying away, then they would fall, and hopefully be knocked out. Then another idea came. "Trina!" She cried, not caring to be quiet. "Can you get those two back on the ground? Can anyone?" She asked, looking around while still observing the monsters.

Carter had the same idea as Melody. "I can try." He called back as he faced the sky and aimed at one of the creatures. He sent imaginary shots of flames into the sky- when they reached the ground, no one would feel it. He smiled as flames hit one of the dragons in the tail. He knew it had effected it, but it had effected him as well. Carter felt lightheaded, and could feel his power weaken. The flamethrower glitched in his hand before he made it disappear completely to save energy. That would have to be enough for now.

Sean, upon thinking, studied each person as the fight continued, trying to get to know everyone as they fought to know what their strengths and weaknesses were. It was only when he noticed Sarah hadn't done a single thing except stand there terrified. Upon becoming rather annoyed that she was just standing there (while he was being hypocritical), he ran to her and grabbed onto her arm, making her nearly jump out of her skin. Suddenly, in a matter of a split second, his vision faded and his eyes clouded over as he got a look basically inside of her head. It was then that he learned she could shape shift. That's when an idea popped into his head. "Hey, Melody!" He shouted as his vision cleared back to normal. "This girl can help too! She can shape shift!"

Sarah turned her shock to Sean. "No I can't! I mean, not well. I can only turn into small animals and stuff that couldn't really help in this situation!"

Sean turned towards her and gave her a grin. "Exactly! Small things move fast. Fast things can't be caught. So if you were to turn into a bird, you could at least aim for a dragon's eyes! That is, if you can fly through those winds," He exclaimed as Trina's storm started blowing through the clearing.

Melody turned to Sarah and smiled. "As long as it's okay with you. Trina, is there anyway you can avoid hitting a bird like, say, an eagle if they went for the eyes?" She asked, her voice loud, even against the wind's screams.

Sarah blinked at both Melody and Trina before moving her gaze back to the ground as her cheeks turned red. The pressure was on now thanks to Sean, and she didn't want to mess this up to make Trina's efforts in controlling her powers that well vain. "Uh, yeah. It's okay for me. I can try to manage," She said, hoping her voice could still be heard over what was left of the howling winds. Quickly, she focused as hard as she could until her body began to change shape, growing smaller and sprouting feathers before she had completely morphed into an eagle. Flapping her wings to get the feel for the size, she hovered in the air as she waited for Cady to make her move.

Sean smiled. "That's the spirit!"

Cadey nodded at Melody, and screeched as high as she could into the dragon's ears. Thankfully, the dragons' ear where more sensetive than theirs.



Chrysler hid in a bush, happily avoiding everything. She saw what Cadey was doing, and went for it's other eye.

Maleia fell to her knees"Use the power you have!" she said to herself as she got back up to spray more acid.

Cadey and Chrysler leaped away from the dragon, getting out of people's way. It would hopefully be easier now, as the dragon was blind.

"Easy everyone calm down we must focus!" He unloaded 3 bullets in the nearest dragon each exploding on contact again, but doing small damage.

Chrysler hid in a tree, trying her best not to scream. Her powers hadn't been very helpfull.

rose moved away partly when she started feeling her eyes go white and black and she went into a motionless state until she came back to full movement. "watch out, more fire and the farthest one is going to land" she yelled.

Maleia moved back far enough so she wouldn't get hurt,or so she thought.

Felix leapt out of the way quickly and saw a sharp peice of glass on the ground he grabbed it and got ready to climb on the one about to land

Eric was nearly swept away with the force of the dragon's swing. However, his reflexes enabled him to jump over the tail. Unfortunately, it still caught him bluntly on his one leg, and he heard the bone shatter. His other leg was fine though. It fury, he took his dagger, and hand moving as a blur, flung it at the dragon writhing on the ground. It hit it in the forehead. It was too small to kill it by brain damage, but it still stunned him.
He couldn't move though. He hated it. He had always been faster than everyone else, and now he was immobilized. He could crawl, but as soon as he tried that his leg lit up with agony again and he cried out in pain.

Lynn, wanting to feel useful, jumped to Eric's side and started to drag him away from the battle scene. She had wasted so much energy already that her perception of time began to slowly go back to normal.

He glanced up at her. "Thanks." He said. Though it was cut off as he cried out again. His leg would need to be set before most of the pain would stop.

(It was hard writing this post. I was using quickpost and the weird dude in sleepy's sig was taunting me the entire time. >< XD)

Maleia couldn't take it,she fell to her knees in pain"Kill it!"she screamed to the others.
